US lifts ban on war dead photos

The US defence department has lifted a ban on news organisations showing pictures of the coffins of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Defence Secretary Robert Gates said photographs of the flag-draped caskets of US war dead being returned home will be allowed if their families agree.
The move overturns a ban put in place by President George Bush Snr in 1991.
Critics said the ban tried to hide the human cost of the two wars, in which nearly 5,000 US soldiers have died.
“The decision regarding media coverage of the dignified transfer process at Dover [Air Force Base] should be made by those most directly affected, on an individual basis, by the families of the fallen,” Mr Gates said.

Well maybe viewing these photos will help the poor individuals who lost their lives in these two wars gain some respect.

respect for invading sovereign nations who did nothing to provoke us, and killing innocent men women and children in the name of “freedom” or “democracy” or some other misguided red white and blue LIE?

The form of expression in opinion you stated demonstrates that your ability to win this global crusade you are currently involved in with the mighty former carpet cleaner Alex Jones of Bobs Best Carpet Cleaning Service has very little potential in influencing anyone.
You may have to convince someone of something one day and I believe it will probably have little impact.
As far as the fine soldiers of the United States they are just innocent young men and women who happen to fall to a misfortune in life, they lost their lives in this world that had everything to offer in the line of duty hoping they were preserving freedom for the people in the United States fighting enemies around the world.
The Holy Bible is a rather limited source of learning but if I were you that is where I would begin.

Well yeah you could see the bible as adversarial opponient but that doesn’t necessarily make your opposition correct. Only the dying can judge the bible.
Ministers, and preachers, and priest exist for the purpose they be to be correct.
Live and let live.

I agree with Zero; I found alot of incorrect information on infowars.com. Alot of his followers can’t or won’t think for themself and I believe Alex knows this, so he lies sometimes to get his point across. I ask everyone this, If CNN,CBS,FOX,ABC AND NBC are all covering up information, hiding the truth, couldn’t Alex be doing the same? You people need to learn to take information and process it to find the truth no matter where it comes from.
