There´s a real division here, and the power brokers work very insidiously to promote the ideas of patriotism and ¨supporting the troops¨and all that stuff. You see the ads promoting the adventure of military life. Folks, it´s all propaganda. Once you´re in the service, you are a slave to the U.S. government, period. They can pretty much do to you whatever they want. And if you don´t go along with the program, they can pretty much screw your life after that, too.
Some people go along with the agenda. Others have qualms of conscience but understand the risks of standing up. You´re dealing with very powerful and entrenched forces here, but overall, the military is a tool of the corrupt U.S. government and the forces of the global elite who pull the strings of the politicians.

There were no commercial plane crashes on 9-11. After 8 years…not one single piece of verifiable debris from any of the 4 planes from any of the 4 locations on 9-11 has ever been physically verified in any way by anyone. Witnesses, video, film, or photos have NEVER in aviation history physically verified a plane or plane crash….only wreckage does. Each plane had over 2 million time-stamped parts that could immediately ID it anywhere in the world. Not one single piece has ever been found.

Yes, they are called “orders”. But if you look at the whole picture and why we’re really in there, these “orders” are unlawful. I joined to defend this country, did my time and I’m out. The problem is we’re fighting a war against a phantom menace. Terrorism? That’s like fighting the war on mosquito’s. Even if you kill one, there are hundreds if not thousands still around every corner. If you kill terrorists in Afghanistan, they’ll just move to another country. What, are we going to occupy every country until we find Osama? Get real!! We got Sadaam and there’s still turmoil in Iraq. Shouldn’t that tell you something? It’s a never ending war and won’t end until we get out! This guy did the right thing. He stood up for what’s right. It takes more balls to do what he did then to be a sheep like you following the Shepard’s orders even though you know them to be unlawful. As Mr. Gump says, “Stupid is as Stupid does”. I get really tired of hearing the commercials about “I joined the National Guard to help my neighbors when there’s a flood, blah, blah, blah.” They need a truthful commercial: Pissed off at ragheads? Do you want shoot them, blow up their houses and crush what’s left of their miserable lives while humping a 60 pound pack and 8 pound rifle in the mountains in 130 degree heat? Join the Army.
Have you seen the movie “The Beast”? It’s about Russian tank that gets lost in Afghanistan and is chased through the desert by some Mujahideen. It’s a really good flick. It portrays modern vs. old, technology vs. simple tools, the horrors and absurdity of war.

Joe i think he was talking in general mate which i’m sure you’d agree with. By it’s very nature guys that are signing up for the military are usually uneducated that see it as a way to get a job as much as anything and maybe get to see the world plus you would expect them to be more easily manipulated to apply false patriotism to being in the army.
Most people would rise up and fight to defend their country against an invading nation but also most also understand that in joining the army you are not fighting for your country but fighting for your political leaders objectives.
I remember a documentary i saw i think it might have even been a michael more one where it showed a real proud patriotic US women at the start who was from a multy generational army family and you watched her slowly wake up after her son died in iraq as she realised it had all been for nothing. She ended up clinging to the gates of the white house in tears screaming why why. Even for a macho guy like myself it was a heart renching moment.
Joining the army and really fighting for your country are 2 different things.

I love this assumption that most people who join the military do so because they can’t do anything else. Yes there are some degenerates in the military, but there are also many people of outstanding courage, intelligence, and character. People in the military endure tremendous hardships and sacrifice that in most cases make them stronger more well-rounded individuals. That is to say, stronger and more well rounded than your average spoiled and feminized young American male like Rob Base.
Let’s say for a minute that 9/11 WAS carried out by Muslim extremists (which is what all most all soldiers and all Americans think happened). Isn’t going after those responsible considered fighting for your country?
The average American soldier has more fortitude, integrity, and skill than any of the slob “Patriots” running their mouths here.

I know things are a hell of a lot different than when I served[drafted in 68] Back then the military changed it’s standards according to just how many men they currently needed. The standards as for as criminal backgrounds and education were constantly changing. In Dec of 68 your general education level was graded on a 0 to 100 scale. Marines required 11%,Army 17%,Navy 68% and Air force was somewhere in the low to mid 70’s percentile. One could be pretty much illiterate and get in either the Marines or Army and many were let in so as to avoid a prison sentence.
Draftees were usually guys that had something going on for themselves in the real world.Many had finished college or were raising a family and holding down some pretty responsible jobs. It has always been just a fact of life that guys that join-up usually do so because of their inability to make it in a private sector job or guys that simply don’t function very well unless someone is telling them every move to make. A lot of those guys excell in the military because everything is thought out for them.
Contrary to what a lot of people believe, the combat military specialties were usually the smarter guys. If a guy did have some college or scored very high on his tests,he would be offered Officer Candidate school or Warrant Officer Flight school and be flying a chopper in Nam about 12 weeks later. There was a catch to that though, if you accepted one of those schools you had to sign up for a six year tour of service but if you turned them down you got out in two years but were almost always put in the infantry and sent to Nam.
Your combat MOS’s [military occupation specialties] are about the only jobs where you had to think on your feet, nearly every other job has a precise way to handle any given situation.
That was all 40+ years ago. I believe if I wanted to just kill folks now,I would go to work for a good paying mercenary company and get paid some real money for the risk involved. Heck,if you’re going to be a mercenary[nobody is doing it for free] you might as well sell your craft to the highest bidder.

I agree that the higher education system is becoming more and more of globalist indoc. system. However those who study outside the liberal arts departments still develop the ability to think critically. I was over there, And we did do killing, but we also did help displaced people. Some hated us, some loved us and welcomed us. Just like any other country there are those who wanted one thing, and there are those who wanted another. Raping happened I’m sure, however I did not partake or witness any of it. I’m not going to stand up for any other soldier that I didn’t serve with, however I will gladly defend myself and the brothers that were by my side. We did only what was necessary, and Helped MANY Iraqui citizens. I’m sorry if I’m being misunderstood so allow me to rephrase. I believe that removing the incredible oppression and tyranny that was under Saddam was a great thing, and to be perfectly honest I also believe it would have been a horrible travesty to leave the country in ruins and chaos. However, the entire process has been pussyfooted, and politicized. We should have gone in, did our job, helped them back onto their feet, and gotten out. But we haven’t, we keep playing half assed, meddling, etc. I think America has ALOT of issues that we need to uproot and deal with. I’m far less than happy with our economy, and I can certainly agree with the notion that our imperial congress and over powered executive branch are eroding our constitution. I never said I was happy or supported it. I was however saying that the region needed liberation from the oppression they were under. There were uprisings that were squashed with machine gun fire from their own government. Anyone who opposed the state was brutally murdered over there. Here we complain (rightly so) when they show up at the protests and disperse crowds, imagine if they were firing fully automatic machine guns into the crowds killing people voicing their opposition to the gov. and in the same move instilling fear in anyone else who might want to oppose them. They needed help to liberate themselves.
All that to say, I’m far less than pleased with all the items you listed, however that doesn’t mean that I didn’t support the overthrowing of tyranny that the UN didn’t have the balls to do. Seriously we have had sanctions on Cuba for how long? A lot of good that’s done! Sometimes war is the only resolution, you cannot reason with unreasonable people, and that goes the same for some of the clowns in Washington DC. They are beyond reasoning and need to be removed from power and a lot of them imprisoned.

Well said Bob. I think people shouldn’t harshly critisize the military unless they have experienced it. I am not in the military, but may join someday to serve my country and really experience it for myself. I would hate to be sent to Iraq though, as I do not support the US being there. We freed that country, and then screwd it in our reconstruction plan, and have killed far too many innocent civilians. I do feel Afganistan is another story. The Taliban should not be allowed to terrorize the people of Afganistan. I feel, as President Obama does, that a strong international security force is needed there. I also support defending the people in Afganistan, becuase to win the war, we must win support of the people. That inlcudes giving them more aid. We put Saddam in power along with the British. Also Iraq is now more violent than when Saddam was in power. I’m not saying he is good, but sometimes the U.S. Government thinks that they can m ake things better. Yes I agree that taking out this madman was a good thing, and I also agree that we should have done the job and left, but there is more to this Iraq thing than you know. Lots of documents, including the PINAC documents, New American Century and other too numerous to mention here show that the U.S. and British government had planned this invasion even before Sept 11, 2001. Their ultimate goal is to create a land bridge so that oil can be brought across from Afhganistan to the Med. That is why they need to take out Iran so they can complete their piepline. How do I know this? It’s on Haliburton’s web site and has been there since 1998.
This is what this is really all about not to mention they can control lots of people and nations in the progress.

The 2 wars we are currently fighting are no different than Vietnam or Korea. The only reason there is no wide spread protest movement is due to lack of a draft. Once the front is expanded into another country we will, according to selective services, need a draft.
Once there is a draft in place people than start to realize these wars are REAL. They are not real to us right now because there are no drafts, no local kids getting killed overseas. Once that changes…and I believe it will…then people start to look at how we got there, what are doing there.
Only with a draft can the truth about 9/11 come mainstream. Only with a draft can people wake up. Right now we are too busy worrying about making ends meat to worry about volunteer troops over seas.
More people are waking up to the fake wars but not as fast as they would if there was a draft.
I hate to say this but I hope Obama does go into Iran. I hope we get bogged down and need a draft to send in more troops to harms way. I hope something happens that will kick the American people in the rear.
Only a draft will bring out the momentum to stop the wars.

There were no commercial plane crashes on 9-11. After 8 years…not one single piece of verifiable debris from any of the 4 planes from any of the 4 locations on 9-11 has ever been physically verified in any way by anyone. Witnesses, video, film, or photos have NEVER in aviation history physically verified a plane or plane crash….only wreckage does. Each plane had over 2 million time-stamped parts that could immediately ID it anywhere in the world. Not one single piece has ever been found.

There was a marine recruiting office across from where my mom worked for the probation dept., and the recruiters came into her building often trying to get young people to sign up telling them there wasn’t anything here for them and the military was a good option for them to keep them out of trouble they would see the world and get money for college, blah blah blah. But they would sometimes make the mistake of talkin’ that jive in front of my mother. When she heard that crap she would ask why they were telling them these things that weren’t true especially when the kids would ask about if they’d be sent to Iraq or Afganistan and the recruiter would tell them no. Man that pissed my mother off knowing they were lying. She would telling the kids thats exactly were they’ll send and they shouldn’t listen to these guys. One of the marines asked to see her supervisor and she said ” I am the supervisor and what about it?” After that they decided to move on. I’m so glad she stood up to them. Places like probation departments must seem like a land of throw aways to them.
