U.S. School District to Begin Microchipping Students

A Rhode Island school district has announced a pilot program to monitor student movements by means of radio frequency identification (RFID) chips implanted in their schoolbags.
The Middletown School District, in partnership with MAP Information Technology Corp., has launched a pilot program to implant RFID chips into the schoolbags of 80 children at the Aquidneck School. Each chip would be programmed with a student identification number, and would be read by an external device installed in one of two school buses. The buses would also be fitted with global positioning system (GPS) devices.
Parents or school officials could log onto a school web site to see whether and when specific children had entered or exited which bus, and to look up the bus’s current location as provided by the GPS device.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has criticized the plan as an invasion of children’s privacy and a potential risk to their safety.

"There’s absolutely no need to be tagging children," said Stephen Brown, executive director of the ACLU’s Rhode Island chapter. According to Brown, the school district should already know where its students are.
"[This program is] a solution in search of a problem," Brown said.
The school district says that its current plan is no different than other programs already in place for parents to monitor their children’s school experience. For example, parents can already check on their children’s attendance records and what they have for lunch, said district Superintendent Rosemary Kraeger.
Brown disputed this argument. The school is perfectly entitled to track its buses, he said, but "it’s a quantitative leap to monitor children themselves." He raised the question of whether unauthorized individuals could use easily available RFID readers to find out students’ private information and monitor their movements.
Because the pilot program is being provided to the school district at no cost, it did not require approval from the Rhode Island ethics commission.

That is why I home school my two children. When my husband died of cancer a few years ago, I thought I would be forced to put them into public school just to survive, but somehow we worked it out. Everyday I thank God I didn’t give in and place them in the hands of Big Brother. They are now 13 and 15, well educated, and above all, know what is going on in the world. This RFID tracking is just leading the parents and the children to accept going peacefully into the night. However we, as a family, have chosen to say no. We believe in freedom at all costs. We feel it is God given and only God can take it away, not the state. Why aren’t the parents in Rhode Island raising hell? Just because it was “given” to them at no cost? This makes me sick.

Because this was given at “no cost”, it did not require any input from the ethics committee? All right, I will accept that. Now that they know about it, that does not change the ethics of the action. Therefore if I were on that committee, I would demand that we got involved to put a stop to it immediately. By that premise, how about if the children are given dope all day long….AT NO COST? Need I say more other than all this action does is shove into our faces that the police state is here strong and growing. If we do not like it, deal with it (as Michael Reagan said about those who do not like him contracting out a murder call against Mark Dice. See how it all is really tied together?). Regrettably our way of dealing with it is to just hear about it enough so we get complacent with always hearing about such things and nothing will be done as nothing has ever been done over all the previous steps that have occurred prior to this one.

Regarding Chemtrails, I have been following this issue for over 8 years–easy to prove when some planes at the same altitude and direction have normal dissipating contrails while others discharge horizon to horizon aerosols.

Let’s see if we can understand this. The backpacks are chipped. The scanner is on the school bus. The backpacks are scanned as your children get on & off the school bus. This means the chipped backpacks will be in your homes.The state run school system will have full access to your children even in their own homes. Aircraft leave “con-trails”, meaning “condensation trails”, and will disappear shortly after.

I drive a school bus now and we are already operating GPS on all the buses and I see no problem. Parents are so over cautious that they want the bus at the stop with the minute and call if you are a minute late. I have enough to be concerned about while doing my job as to getting a call about where I am located on my route. I praise the GPS for making my job easier.
Idont think the chip should be a choice and not forced on the public.

In response to post #32… By microchipping the children’s backpacks, you are essentially microchipping the children. It serves the same function as microchipping children would, so actually the title is dead on. Your overanalytical semantics are probably just your way of COPING with the immensely tragic nature of the situation.

Incrementalism. Here is the key. Notice that the RFID is NOT a suggestion to parents, to contract private RFID companies, and put chips in the bookbags or wherever else the PARENT wants to put it- SO THE PARENT can monitor their children from a computer or other electronic medium.
It is MANDATED by the school district, to contract a government connected company, so that the GOVERNMENT can monitor your children.
This is a complete violation of the rights of biological parents authority over their own children.

In Grand Rapids, during a art festival, the masons of the town hosted a program to thumb scan and put them into a database and these children were either given a chip or an id that could be scanned. It was to promote the prevention of child abduction. My mouth dropped when I saw this and to see how many people were putting their children into databases. Its scary.

This would be a damn good way to imprison several thousand people. Simply chip them and then tell them not to leave the confines of a town which is designated as a prison complex. If they leave, they are hunted down via gps. It is easier to install rfid monitoring stations and towers than it is to train people and hire them as guards.

I can already see a flaw here, i work in a school and this very day a pupil left his bag on a trip. so in cases like that, this technology would be useless, unless they instead of putting a chip in the school bags they put it in the school children themselves! that would work.
on a less sarcasstic note, when would they not be able to track to children? ie does it pick up the transmission on a saturday when they’re at home? or after school? and who does the childrens where-abouts go to? the school or the gvnmnt? both?

If i know kids cause i was one once, I would lose that bag, plant it on a friend, or just make sure it is no where near me. I see this as one big money loss for Rhode Island. They will claim the program was a failure because students either lost the bags or refuse to carry them.
This program sounds like onstar for the school. And as we have seen from the book The Most Dangerous game it is easier to track your victim then to chase it.

As a parent, there is NO WAY I would agree to have my child tagged! It is a “public school”, which is run off of YOUR tax money. You have every right to disagree with and refuse this type of control over your child.

Not in my country mother fuckers, and especially not with my child. This is exactly why Im homeschooling my daughter, and why I encourage any parent with an IQ over 130 to do the same. This is my personal view but what would be more preferrable anyway? A person with an IQ over 135 teaching one child, or a person with an IQ as low as 100 or even lower teaching a group of 15 -30 children?

this really is surprising, as RI has thuis far resisted most of the trends we see across the country in terms of NWO activity….I don’t think this will stand. Some people may wonder why RI, but i can tell you why.
Earlier this year there was a massive snow storm that paralyzed the road systems. Children that had been stuck on the bus sat in them from anywhere between six and seven hours to get to their homes. some of them had to pee in cups at the back of the bus. parents and school officials were in a tizzy over this. I can attest to the ferocity of this storm because I drove through that storm to pick up a room mate of mine and i went through the chaos of those streets. ambulances and fire trucks stuck in gridlock, a car accident blocked off 95 south for miles, it was crazy!
This “solution” was brought up, literally, two days after the storm had passed through. it had first met harsh resistance, but with constant media bombardment (because of course Fox Eyewitness 12 ‘News’ thought that this should be the “end all solution to parental concerns”), it made it seem that you would be “bad” parents if you trusted in the school system and did not know where your child was 24/7.
Even though a system like this could have lifted some of the worry off of a parents chest, this technology is not needed in this case, nor is it practical. i remember hearing about level three sex offenders almost every other day on the news, and you want to put a radio chip into some kids backpack that will have their information on it? it will probably have their address in it! Besides, how hard is it to call the school and ask “my child isn’t home yet. do you know where bus #50 is?” when the alternative is spending millions to place this technology within these communities.
Another thing. RI is in, last i knew, i large deficit for this year. i think the sponsoring company may have helped ease the pain of this deficit….
I fully understand why they are doing it, but i can’t believe that they are doing it. i DO NOT support this in the slightest bit. no good can come out of this.

I stopped paying them in ‘91.
Just said “NO!” & I haven’t looked back. Refused to ever look for any work from any & all employers that deduct at source. Its been super tough, & it really hurt my living for which I trained for years, & hurt my relationships with everyone, all family included, (incl. divorce, Yikes!) but I just cannot, & will not pay them one red penny from my workaday hands. If everyone had done so along with me (and progressively more millions,) they’d all be gone now, but alas, we are persons in each our own times. I was called crazy by literally everyone, but I knew better & my conscience couldn’t be squashed. (Thanks Dr. Frank R. Wallace, RIP, the most heroically benevolent man I’ve ever read or heard of.)
We will starve them, as now more and more are seeing that the parasite’s Achilles is that they need us, while we flourish without them. Technology, cures, travel, abiding happiness ~ all becomes possible w/out them.
The prtoposed carbon tax is partly because there are now so many income tax dissenters (a secret as to exactly how many, natch), that these humanoids need a new way to line their pockets with your competence & that of your kids, (& theirs), as they only know destruction. They find net productivity impossible.
Just go to your boss, encourage them to have no fear, or else there will be nothing to work at very soon anyway.

The bags are being tagged, not the actual student.
All it does is show when the student entered and exited the bus.
Some of you need to pull your head out of the supposed Bible and look at things in a realistic and logical way.
Do you or your kids have cell phones? They too can be tracked if need be, are you going to now take them away?
This is just another way to be able to check on the safety of the children and to check if needed that they arrived at school in a timely and safe manner.
Some have posted paranoia sitting fear and concern about the Number of the Beast. So tell me, what IS the NotB? Is it your cell phone number? Your Social Security Number, your bank account or check card number, credit card number?
The truth is that NO one knows specifically what it is that’s being referred to in that passage. Too many are too quick to point and yell “this is it!” in my opinion.
We live in the age of Information. Get use to it because unless you life out in the woods and only work for cash you’re all ready in the system.
With ALL the many real problems in the world thriving and growing in today’s world…knowing that your kid go to school is hardly a crisis and threat.

The only thing it will prove is that the kid’s BAG made it to school. It is a very dangerous assumption by those who believe that this provides “security” that the current location of a kid’s cell phone or backback is equivalent to the current location of the child.
The real threat of RFID technologies, as Mr Brown pointed out, is that unauthorized persons or groups (or authorized ones with malevolent intentions) can misuse them.

This “smells” funny on a number of counts. The obvious angle is that the bags are being tagged so the children are being “symbolically” chipped. Therefore the book bag may become a sort of proxy for the child.
If the child forgets the school bag or mischeiviously “misplaces” it they may face disciplinary action. However, this being said, this plan may be setup to fail to deem necessary the actual implanting of chips.
All in all it will condition the child to further fear those who are “protecting” them.
Remember that “we” created the terrorists over the years through covert operations and propaganda. We continue to cultivate ill feeling by unjustified overseas aggression that by the way, is turning domestic in a subtle and insidious way. If the banks fail and people protest, they will in turn be labeled terrorists.

This is the government that will rule over the earth and restore mankind to what was lost in Eden.
In the Bible 7 is a divine number and represents heavenly things. The mark of the beast is the allegiance to this world government that promises “peace and security” only to be destroyed by Jesus and his angels at Armageddon. Note that no one could buy or sell without the mark.
The allegiance may be forced on some. Its possible that those who don’t accept the mark, which could be cumulative or simply the implantable chip or could be some other outward display of allegiance or worship of the faux world order.

This is just the beginning for these kids. Desensitize them now and they’ll most likely become adults who will raise no objections to even more intrusive behavior by their elitist controllers. I can imagine half of them within six months will give absolutely no thought to invasive security measures (RFID or whatever else gets pushed down the pipe) and by the time they figure out their status as guinee pigs when they become (ikes) adults…too late.
I can’t get over the last sentence in this story: “Because the pilot program is being provided to the school district at no cost, it did not require approval from the Rhode Island ethics commission.” This is so unbelieveable that I had to read it again. To think that the rules and, more importantly, the ethics can be bypassed in such a way in Rhode Island because something is provided for free is absolutely absurd. Oh well, seems everything is just fine in America these days as I haven’t seen anyone out in the streets waving their fists…

My one question when reading this article was whether or not the parents of these children have any say in the matter. Surely not every single parent of these 80 children agree with this invasion of privacy. Another thing to note would be that this isn’t happening to students who are in high school, they are doing this on students who are young and impressionable so I agree with Len about how these type of things are going to desensitize these kids. Whats next? The possibilities are endless, and all in the name of “safety”. The storm is coming my friends.
