U.S. to sell bunker-busting bombs to Israel

The US Defense Department has notified Congress of plans to sell 1,000 bunker-buster bombs to Israel in a deal worth 77 million dollars.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced the possible arms sale of the GBU-39 small diameter smart bombs on its website. The deal still requires approval from Congress.
The bombs, which are touted as more precise than larger munitions, have the capacity to penetrate 1.8 meters (six feet) of reinforced concrete and carry a 50 percent probability of reaching a target within five meters.
According to the Jerusalem Post, the bombs could help Israel in a possible strike against Iran’s nuclear sites, some of which are protected by bunker-like structures.
Last month, Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that his country will never accept Iran developing a nuclear weapons capability and refused to rule out “any options.”

Iran doesn’t want nuclear weapon. However, if they ever decide to develope it due to a clear and present danger nothing can stop them short of an all out nuclear attack on a country of 70 million people. I hope cool minds prevail and conflict is avoided. Otherwise, it will be a world disaster.

I agree with your post.
However, the fascinating part is how these bombs will not even be used against Iran. It’s clear after the recent provocation in the Caucus region what they are really intended for………….Rebels hiding out in the mountainous regions of Ukraine and Georgia.
This whole process could be compared to the laundering of money, yet we are talking about arms instead of currency. The concept is still the same…………it will eventually get traced back the US……..thus WWIII!!!
We should all start speaking out……………I have no problem with Jews, Muslims, or Christians!
I do however have a major problem with the State of Israel and fanatic extremists!
It’s time we all start waking up and recognizing the “big White and Blue elephant in the room!”

ok, so is the Isreali government going to buy all that crap with the money leveraged from the US by LIEberman and company? you know, those devaluated into the toilet federal reserve notes they printed special just for the Isreali government. Good evening.
By taking only the period which is between the end of the second world war and today, there is a quantity which does not have yet, and which it will be probably impossible to determine, at least in the near future (unless some historians, sincerely objective, inhabited of a true will of investigation at bottom, worthy of the most famous private detectives, like Sherlock Holmes, Clouseau or even Columbo, gathered in team to make their research without limits, pressure, and in the greatest liberty of action).
This number is that of the direct and indirect victims, of the foreign policies of the American successive governments and direct allies (to only quote: Europe, Great Britain, Israel).
If the crime committed against the most miserable person – alive in a built hut of branches of trees, shrubs and cans, at a place located in the farest forest or the deepest jungle – as well as the embryos – even if being accountanciable only as from the last 4 months before their birth – could form equal part and integrant(al) people universally protected by the charter for the Human rights, we would then have matter to have a rather correct scale of calculation and statistics, thus being significantly able to indicate the number of crimes committed against Humanity.
But my thought is much deeper than the simple analysis of these tragic facts. It goes rather in the direction of the quiet culprits, accessory passive, if you prefer. Without wanting to emit criteria of calculation of the weight of the responsibilities for this broad category of human beings, my thought goes in a direction much more constructive. That of the training, the learned lesson, and the possible beneficial consequences.
I am explained: all these materialists Zombies , simple of spirit for major, the delayed mental ones for the remaining part, will be well obliged by the revelations carried finally at the great day, to note and to acknowledge part of complicity. But will they do it? Or, will they choose to them another option? Will they be ready, voluntarily, to change the large majority of their concepts? Will they only be able to agree to full liking subject with values like: humility, compassion?
So many questions, I know.
The time passing, the experience, the observation, ceaseless lived human disappointments, the interminable profit, etc etc, returned to me being wary and pessimistic with regard to the human nature (and I do not certainly exclude me…), give me desire, however to give you this small council: Rules will be the most necessary, for ourselves and the future generations. The difficult work of the establishment of these rules, under the hat of the dirigents and representatives of all regions of the planet, will have to be carried out with the more large scales, so much so that nobody in the world (nor even the native about which I spoke in a preceding chapter) can find an against-argument with each one of those.
You do not even imagine humility, courage, one-self change, the altruism who will be necessary to this great Project. Personally, I do not believe in it…
Therefore, a long time ago now, a day, I died, and if I agreed to remain among you, it is only to accompany my two little boys, and to do everything so that it also do not become them, the “loser” who I became, many years ago.
In conclusion, only one question arises:
Can one really be happy on this planet, while being completely conscious of what really occurs there? In other words:
if a hypocrite could be happy, I prefer to remain unhappy.
