U.S. Troops Asked If They Would Shoot American Citizens

U.S. troops are being trained to conduct round-ups, confiscate guns and shoot American citizens, including their own friends and family members, as part of a long-standing program to prepare for the declaration of martial law, according to a soldier who recently returned from Iraq.
We received an e mail from "Scott", a member of a pipefitters union that runs an apprenticeship program called Helmets To Hard Hats, which according to its website, "Is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with quality career training and employment opportunities within the construction industry."
Scott writes that his company hired a soldier who had recently returned from Iraq, who told him that U.S. troops were being quizzed on whether or not they would be prepared to shoot their own friends and family members during a national state of emergency in America.
"I have become very close to this young man and have gained his respect and trust," writes Scott. "I want you to know that he informed me about one particular training exercise his superiors made them perform. It was concerning the rounding up of American citizens that disobey any type of martial law or in other words any type of infringement on our freedoms."
"He was asked if he could shoot his friends or family members if ordered to do so. At the time he said he could," writes Scott.
Scott says that the soldier later "had time to clear his head" and realize the truth, recanting his vow to kill his own countrymen if ordered to do so.
The issue of whether U.S. troops would be prepared to round-up, disarm and if necessary shoot Americans who disobeyed orders during a state of martial law is a question that military chiefs have been attempting to answer for at least 15 years.
Its known origins can be traced back to an October 1994 Marine questionnaire out of the Twentynine Palms Marine Base in California. Recruits were asked 46 questions, including whether they would kill U.S. citizens who refused to surrender their firearms.
Documentary film maker Alex Jones brought to light similar training programs that were taking place across the country in the late 90’s which revolved around U.S. Marines being trained to arrest American citizens and take them to internment camps.
During one such program in Oakland California, dubbed "Operation Urban Warrior," Marines refused to answer if they would target American citizens for gun confiscation if ordered to do so.
During hurricane Katrina, National Guard units were ordered to confiscate guns belonging to New Orleans residents.
As we first exposed in May 2006, Clergy Response Teams are being trained by the federal government and FEMA to "quell dissent" and pacify citizens to obey the government in the event of a declaration of martial law.
Pastors and other religious representatives are being taught to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to "obey the government" in preparation for the implementation of martial law, property and firearm seizures, mass vaccination programs and forced relocation.
Many scoffed at our original story, which was based on the testimony of a whistleblower who was asked to participate in the program. Claims that the story was a conspiracy theory soon evaporated when a mainstream KSLA news report confirmed the existence of the program.
The experiences of U.S. troops in the worst areas of Iraq, where soldiers are ordered to go door to door and arrest all men of military age as well as confiscate their weapons, is a mere portend of what is being planned for America if these training programs ever come to fruition.

If you have not seen the videos on YouTube of Nat’l Guard and Blackwater doing gun confiscation in New Orleans, post Katrina, you need to go there now and watch them. We are being given a warning. Do not be afraid, become prepared. Do not allow yourself to be “outed”, by becoming a target. The PTB use a lot of this to make a determination of who and how many are going to resist.

The above reference to recruits is incorrect. None of the Marines given the survey were recruits. In fact it appears that most had combat experience.
The demographics portion of the survey asked, in addition to other questions:
1) How many months did you serve in Operation Desert Storm / Desert Shield?
2) How many months did you serve In Somalia?
The actual report from the Defense Technical Information Center
(report # ADA293790) didn’t provide the responses to the demographics questions.

Isn’t the refusal to shoot fellow country men the reason to quash posse comitatus, allowing foriegn military to do the task. They call it friendly training with the Allies. Remember the rumors about hidden coding embedded in road signs? I was at an emergency management meeting and a State Police Emergency Management Division (FEMA) said it is true. Also, a National Guard official said they train using markers on road signs and color coded signage to mark facilities for emergency use. Apparently these codings are used in conjunction with GPS and GPS malfunction and pinpoint as confirmation signals. I used to think this was a lot of bunk–not anymore.

Why are we just talking about this? While the governments of the west organise their instruments of repression, from the police to the armed forces, we few in the know remain disbanded. We are divided, and therefore we are already conquered.
We need to organise a people’s army to defend real liberties and maintain what little security we have left. Unless we all group together in defence of a shared cause we will not succeed in resisting the NWO. We can win a war against our military but if our own people join them we may as well stop talking now and just dig ourselves a hole in the ground.
The question is how can we possably unite when all forms of communication are monitored and controlled by those we aim to overcome? We cant mail eachother or disclose any details of our real identities and whereabouts. What kind of army communicates via a channel controlled by their enemy? Its a hopeless situation. If you all want to go out shooting then you will do so alone, you will lose your life and with it any hope of changing the future.
Cant you see that all the NWO wants is a reason to kill us. Those who can see the horrors unfolding and choose to fight it will be the first casualties. All the better for the NWO to prevent the wider masses learning from we few enlightened. So how can we group into a powerful force before our chance is over?

He got it from someone that got it from someone. He doesn’t even identify the direct source. He only uses the first name of the the person that gave him the information. Technically, he has second-hand info, so I will correct that now. Second hand info is unreliable at best.

How good it is to read these comments! Sometimes I feel all alone out here, like the last man in the “bodysnatchers” movie. Of all the people who live in this subdivision, about 25 families, I have only been able to reach one couple. Most of my neighbors avoid me now. My wife does’nt want to hear about it either. but you are comparing apples and oranges , your example is inapplicable considering he has KLSA , military questionnaire’s and compelling video evidence all collaborating with the context of this excellent piece of journalism you are going from one end of the spectrum to the other ,simply saying something is true doesnt make it so , maybe it does in your mind. i tend to believe in the burden of proof which is overwhelmingly in the authors favor , not yours sorry

Stick the point of the source. You are trying to compare apples and oranges. The author used this person as a lead-in source to prove that military personnel are being conditioned to kill US civilians. It is unqualified. He even goes further with his lack of qualifying sources by linking the questionarre to a site that does not even mention it. If I skipped it let me know. I went to the date that was referenced in the article and did not see it.
As far as the KLSA report, that is about clergy quelling dissent after martial law was instituted. It does not confirm the authors claim that military personnel have been asked if they could kill US citizens. If he has so much proof, why risk losing credibility with an unqualified source? Just leave it out.

I am not attempting to spin anything. As a gun owner, it disturbs me a great deal that guns were confiscated in NO. I have never disputed that claim. The video of the excercise is not compelling in the least. There is nothing proven in the video. You can hear AJ trying to turn the conversation by asking leading questions but the Marine doesn’t take the bait.
Again, I am only referring to the one source he quotes (unqualified) about Marines being asked to kill US civilians. Stick to that. If he is willing to lead with an unqualified second-hand source, how much else can you trust in the article? That is my point entirely with my original post. Any journalist who trots out unqualified 2nd hand sources is a hack.

1776 was a fair fight. Muskets opposed by muskets. Today, our ragtag militia will be facing much greater lethal weaponry opposing its mostly conventional armaments. Means of resistance will adapt to the situation, but it’s going to be ugly.
A lot of brave men and women will throw their lives against the machine and many will die. If the worst case scenario comes about, those who remain will wax envious over those dead patriots, not only for their bravery, but for the realization their lives meant nothing without freedom. The patriots’ demise will be recognized as the easier way to go, nothing like the hell on earth in store for the survivors and government sympathizers.
Now, let’s talk about something a bit more positive. People often get turned off by these “negative” messages about tyranny, financial collapse, secret government, etc. Even Ron Paul could benefit from turning things to a positive light. Russert challenged him about abolishing the IRS and the trillion or two dollars magnitude effect on tax collections. He answered the question well, but I was totally rooting for Ron to say something like, “Can you imagine the impact of putting a couple of trillion dollars back to work into the economy! This economy would be on an orbital trajectory! Government would prosper through other kinds of tax collections along with the growth of everything else!”
We really need to put as much positive energy into this fight as we spend on educational (often perceived as negative) energy.
So, tongue in cheek here, the demolition industry has sure pulled a giant scam on us all these years. They make incredible profits from demolishing old buildings. Hell, everyone knows you just get a fire going in the upper floors and these buildings collapse neatly into their own footprint even time!

Find an article or report about Ron Paul on the “Lame Stream Media”, You will have trouble. Many of their websites do not even list him as a candidate, but Al Gore is on the list. thankamarineformyfreedom? how ’bout kick a marines ass for being a traitor? Let’s quit beating around the bush, no pun intended, this country has been overthrown and our constitution shredded. Our government has reached heights of depravity, the Communists and fascists only dreamed of in their ‘wettest’ dreams. When they come to your door, what will you do? Surrender your weapons, your daughters, your food, let them turn your sons into sickly gangster thugs with no conscience? Maybe it is in the water, I keep asking people to think for yourself, fend for yourself, and slowly most have come around, but what was it that made them blind in the first place? When they learn to ask the right questions for themselves then the fog lifts and they see the evil that has encompassed them, they become angry, scared, even apologetic for their ignorance. And that sometimes is the only hope I can cling to is that they are at least capable of regaining cogent thoughts of their own, once they start thinking for themselves again.

I cannot believe how easily people are swallowing the bait of Romans 13. I love the Lord and His Word, but I know that in the United States of America the government is not a power ordained by God. According to the law of this land, a.k.a. the Constitution, We The People are the power. The government is here to serve the people, not the other way around.
I’ve had many a Christian throw Romans 13 in my face when I start talking about the New World Order, the Patriot Act, or 9/11. They’re being fed this crap by clergy who have been manipulated into squelching the voice of the people. Tell your fellow Christians that the citizens of the USA are the ordained power of this land. Our forefathers saw to that by giving us laws that limit the power of government. And let no one fool you, this land was founded on Christian principals. Our forefathers were well aware of Romans 13 when they gave the power to the people.
Jesus taught us to be gentle as doves, but wise as serpents. Know your enemy. As Alex Jones has declared, there’s a war on for your mind. Arm yourself with information and read the bible for yourself. Don’t follow the words of men, but the Word of God. Know that the power which God ordains in this country is in the hands of the people.

Violence has been done to us by very wicked, secretive and deliberate means. This violence can account for the rise of cancer, mental disease, and societal break down. My mentor was a contractor for the Navy and used to tell me when he was in his 40’s that the NWO (he didn’t use that exact term) uses TV as propaganda for mind control and dumbing us down. He would actually show me specific techniques and what they would accomplish. When I was 13 I thought he was crazy and poked fun at him. Well, he’s 65 now and is having the last laugh. He moved out of the country because he knows what going on.
When I was in the military in the early 90’s I remember guys that were so stupid they literally drooled while pondering instructions on dissembling an M-16.

You are blind. He didn’t say the source was confidential. He didn’t say the sources name was being held on his request. Above all else, he NEVER actually spoke with the source himself. This Scott person is not the source. The unnamed ex-servicemember is the source. That is where the problem lies. The author is giving second hand information with no way of verifying it’s credibility. He is offering it up in an attempt to hold up his message.
Yes, I watched the videos. Yes, there are some parts that make me uneasy. However, I think too many of you on this site are hungry for anything that puts our government in a light of being against our citizens. I also know that one of the things that seperates our military as the greatest in the World is we train for every contingency. I do hope that I am right and you are wrong. However, I don’t think that I am going to be a slave in my lifetime, nor you. I am not one that gives my government blind trust, but I also don’t believe they are inherently evil. Please don’t mischaracterize me as some lock-step Nazi that bows to the government. I question what the government does. I don’t put them above manipulation of the citizens. I just don’t see the same doom and gloom as most of you.

Therefore it makes no difference to you how many innocent people have to suffer and die in the name of global corporate profits, as long as you’re being told that it’s in “America’s best interest”, or part of the bogus “war on terror”.
I agree with you that the questionable second-hand source in this article completely undermines it’s credibility, but the bigger problem is that this is not the first time we’ve encountered this type of story. Stuff like this leaks out quite often, and past articles with the same theme haven’t had the credibility issues that this one has. If the blatant gun-grabbing during Katrina performed by our own national guard – a well documented event – didn’t get your blood flowing, then a story like this is just too far-out for you to even consider. We’ve seen coverage of military and police training where actors play the part of dissenters shouting things like “I know my rights under the US constitution” and the soldiers/cops are trained to ignore them and detain them as efficiently as possible. Does that sound like something I should “thank a Marine” for? Is that the “freedom” I’m supposed to thank you for?
You sound like your heart is in the right place, and your last post even belies some skepticism about the government and it’s policies, and rightly so. You shouldn’t be so quick to write off your fellow Americans for thinking that things are alot worse than you see them. So you don’t believe 911 was an inside job – good for you. The truth is, none of us want to believe it. We’re not just “hungry for anything that puts our government in a light of being against our citizens.”, we just see too many blatant lies on behalf of the government, lies which do cause Americans harm. How many thousands of US servicemen died and continue to die every day because of Bush’s WMD lie? We’re not “spreading democracy” in Iraq, what we’ve done is f*cked things up so bad it will take generations before there will ever be anything close to peace in the middle east, and if you ask me that was the plan from the get go.
You can come here and put us down all you like, you’re not helping anyone. Maybe your time would be better spent corresponding with your brothers, maybe helping them deal with the horrors of war, helping them deal with the loss of their fallen comrades, or just lending an ear to those who might need it. It’s not just the military that we have to worry about- recent training of our police by Blackwater in some cases, is also teaching them the door to door tactics of gun confiscation and citizen control. They already misuse this new knowledge in many public displays to intimidate and threaten citizens (many who have done NOTHING wrong). HOW can anyone not see the cameras everywhere following our every move, and the cops dressed in black without visible badge numbers/or their names available to the public. They intend to terrify the very people they are supposed protect and serve (and the very people whose taxes pay their salary!!!) Why shouldn’t we wonder if the military is being trained to do this as well- I mean why else would the Bush administration have been so gung-ho to force the passing of the Miltary Commissions Act- which changes the rules about what our military can do to OUR AMERICAN citizens on American soil (and not in our favor- I might add).

You know what guys sometimes it is better to just let the trolls go without interaction. Marine brought up some good points, then the attacks started, screwing sheep low IQ’s etc. That is like calling the whole pot and kettle thing there Marine, what shows low IQ’s is personal attacks, it is a weak pathetic tactic. Wannabe had it right, if you have made a promise to defend all of our constitutional rights, then you are a brother, and if the SHTF then I would be glad to have you on my side.
You are more then welcome to ask questions, but dont attack people on a personal level, you came in and started doing that right off the bat. That tends to turn people off right away. You believe the way you do, and for whatever reason some of us see things a little different. One thing we share is a love for this country, you can love this country and hate the government. I know that neo cons have shoved the idea that if you speak out against the government you arent patriotic, when in my opinion the reverse is true, dissent is patriotic. Sending National Guard troops to confiscate citizens’s guns was over the top. That it was on television and not raising a national pot to biol is beyond me. First of all, entering private homes and taking civilian guns is unconstitutional, and therefore – an illegal order to do so.
If so ordered, -as a U.S. military person, I would have refused the order on grounds it is illegal and complained to the inspector general. The commander and individual members of that Natl. Guard unit should be sued in court by the civilians they inflicted harm upon (What unit was it?) .

When people froth, they spend money which is ENTIRELY what Alex is about. He didn’t need to qualify his source, because it didn’t matter to him to be responsible. He accomplished what he set out to. None of those videos CORROBURATE the second hand quote. None of those videos say anything about our troops being conditioned to kill Americans. That is where using that quote is dangerous and irresponsible. How many times do I have to say that I am concerned about the gun confiscation. I will not defend that. However, that is not evidence of any conspiracy to the level which you claim exists. Again, that is where you guys go wrong. Everything is not automactically connected.
You guys are right about one thing. I have been trained to kill. Does that mean I am a robot? Hardly. It only means that I have the skill to perform a lethal action under duress. I get to choose when I employ it. I pray that I never have to, against any person.

First I must say that it is great to be able to talk to others on this website…and I love the new look. As far as previous comments. I agree that name calling is childish and should not be apart of anyones comments who truely understands that we need to come together and reach out to those around us about what is going on in this world. I to have felt very alone in my beliefs. Most people simple do not want to know the truth. I understand this … the truth is scary! The first three years that I listened to Alex … I was scarred all the time. My husband would get mad at me about listening because it made me depressed. I KNOW that God is in controll. This is the only reason that I have faith that right will prevail. History shows us that Empires rise and fall. They fall because they forget where their power comes from. THE PEOPLE! I agree that we need to unit and I hope that we are able to do so …. before it comes to “brother against brother”. But if it does not. The people will prevail. Countys and governments fall. Things are dark but I see the light beginning to shine. It sometimes confuses me because, even the people that act like I am crazy. Send me information showing that at least part of their awareness is being touch by what is going on. Appathy is the hardest thing to over come and it is what we must over come.

I have too many fish to fry and too small a skillet, so I’m going to pass along two points here and move on.
1) This guy “ThanAMarineForYourFreedom” is using classing Lavrenty Beria technique for deflecting discussion and debate into a spinning wheels contest designed to distract everyone from the subject at hand. His objective is to get everyone into a flame war with him and with each other to prevent the discussion from reaching any useful conclusions. I seen this happen on every forum where anything of real significance is being discussed. Otherwise he would have made his original point and moved on. Note that he is remaining engaged and doing his best to needle people and start a flame war. Your best course of action is to totally ignore him and get on with the important part of the discussion.
2) I note that an awfully lot of the posters on this board are WILLING TO DIE before they will give up their guns. Hey, people, that’s a great sentiment, but there is only one problem with it: If you don’t come up with some kind of tactical or strategic defense plan more effective than martyrdom, YOU WILL. Here’s something you should think about: How well will your residence structure withstand being raked from one end to the other with .30 caliber or .50 caliber machine gun fire? That’s what our Coast Guard uses to persuade ships at sea to heave to (stop) when they refuse. That will be what the troops use to persuade you to see the light once the great confiscation begins and a few defenders become martyrs and take some of the thugs with them. What are you going to do about it? Do you have a plan? Do you have adequate ordnance and at least 5,000 rounds of ammunition? Do you have a truck to transport it when you have to bug out or face obliteration? Will you have enough time to load your truck when the thugs surround your home? Think about these things, think tactically, and remember a great principle of warfare, because this is warfare: Offense is better than defense.

The reality is they have weapons we have never heard about..our best chance is to bring them in while we still can..most people are saying they won’t take action unless they or loved ones are attacked..the reality is and this is what Alex is trying to tell you everyday is – you are being attacked right this second in ways you don’t realize ( chemtrails,water,food,vaccines..etc )
They have bio weapons ( that can be dormant in yur body right now) and satellites ..how do you drive away from a satellite? they can see your body heat if you hide in the woods..etc..not to sound depressing..

So you got an email from “Scott” who heard someone else say this? We both know that doesn’t cut it.
Is “Scott” willing to be identified? I’d like to contact him. Can he give us the name of the soldier who made this claim?
I’d like to interview this soldier on the telephone and perhaps on video.

Pay attention to the bill being quietly introduced that will require that all ammunition be marked with id and that purchase of said ammo will require registration. Also it will be illegal to make your own ammo – i.e. reloading those empty shot gun shells.

Ok, I too, along with probably 3/4 of everyone on this site, think that a revolution would be a “good” thing. Not saying that killing people is good, but if someone comes to take me and my family away, I will do WHAT I CAN, to stop it. Not to say that Im going to start shooting people just because. All of you on here who think that your stockpiling of ammo and weapons is going to do something, you’re wrong. All of you seem to have a plan without a plan. I too have Caches of guns and ammo, and they are hidden in places you would never guess. In my town, we do have a small resistance group who would be willing to fight. But how many of you know what you would do if you did throw over the government? How many of you have ANY expertise on the theory of government. Im not saying I do. Im in high school, 18 years old, and the only thing I know is that I would try to implicate a set of “rules” if the area we took over was secured. Its easy to sit here and say “oh ill kill em, ill kill them bastards who take my guns, n this n that.” I honestly highly doubt that half of the people that say that they would stand up and fight REALLY would. Im not even saying I would. If I was given even the smallest chance I swear on my family as well as the people in my country I would, but whos to say I wouldnt be caputred or something before that. What if one morning you wake up and before you have the chance to react, the military is already forcing you out, good luck getting more than a few shots off before they tear you to pieces with 5.56 hell. If this s--- does even come true, which it may or may not, I hope to see some of you fighting, and I hope that if I am imprisoned at some s--- camp, that you would liberate me, because I would do the same for you.
