Utah Congressman Refuses Body Scan at Airport

Utah’s freshman congressman on Thursday defended a run-in with security at Salt Lake International Airport.
Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz admitted he got frustrated and even used an obscenity, but he thinks airport security was out of line, not him.
It all revolves around a machine that checks for concealed bombs or weapons under a passenger’s clothes. Passengers who don’t want their whole body scanned can bypass the machine and go through a metal detector and full-body pat down instead. But 99.6 percent willingly get scanned.
“The security is good, and it’s for my protection. I feel that way about it, and so I don’t mind it at all,” said frequent flyer Dick Crossett.
Statistics show less than 1 in 200 try to avoid the revealing scans.

I’m weary of all the brainwashing; My experience is first hand with my family. The mainstream news is the main culprit( sure GMO is related to the dumbing down and the mindless acceptance of tyranny ), but I’ll swear dehydration is connected somehow. Maybe it’s the accumulation of toxins and the long term affects, which cause people to seek out things subconciously to make them feel better, like feel-good fluff T.V., reassuring talking heads, and plenty of coffee, fat, and sugar. Try drinking 5 pints of filtered water in the morning before food, to counteract brain numbing. Then plenty of green tea and water( on an empty stomach between meals. It works for me. Surly, the masses gladly file through the body scanners because, to challenge takes too much energy, and trust has been chemically induced.

Now in my opinion they do not even have to go out of their way as I do. I am sure they have a button on-screen they can press. These things, in my opinion, are set up to keep.

For the first time ever I ha d a full body serch at the airport! I was traveling back from a business trip, arrived early, had all my hair products etc in little plastic bags, every thing in my carry on just as the airlines requested, my bags made it thru but yet here I am…… standing in a check point. I go thru the scanner and beep beep. What I thought? I dont have change, keys, anything. I am not wearing shoes, only wearing jeans, no belt and a cotton shirt. I was told “we have to do a full body search”, do you want it done here or should we take you in a back room. What? Are you kidding me? I said here if you have to do it. I was embarrassed as the guard patted me down, ran their hand across my chest (I am female), and up and down my legs. Ok, I am all about being safe but seriously? It was obvious I had a couple hair pins in my hair that I forgot were there. All this… what iare the odds, other people w/ jewlery and big necklages went thru no issues. I am prior military…. could this be the real reason? I will always wonder…

The TSA male agents choose young and attractive women as their prime target for bodyscan. I observed this when I was at the security check point, it was so obvious that it just blow my mind away! Guess they got a kick out of sharing beautiful young women images among themselves, they worked as a team like a pack of wolf, imagine your younger daugther, your wife or your love one has to go thru this machine, totally agreed with Emendo comment: Anyone who lets their wife and kid go through that wbi scanner should be shot!!!
The law should amend to such: male for male, female for female, jusy like pat down. Or, TSA should raise their hiring standard for this dignify job, at least hire someone who has a high school degree!!! I am all for the Congressman!!!
