Vaccination seems to hold a similar place. People ignore words of caution and roll up their sleeves to get a flu shot. It seems they think getting a vaccine is the same as taking a multivitamin, and equally as benign. But when serious adverse events occur, such as Guillain-Barre paralysis, a seizure disorder or even a death, a jolt of reality lays bare just how damaging a “simple vaccine” can be.
The stranglehold of fear, perpetrated by those in white coats and by the medical bureaucrats in Washington DC who take their marching orders from pharma, is working hard to choke rationally thinking adults into submission. I get emails almost every day that say something like, “I bought your DVDs and your books…but I have a question: Should I get a flu shot?” WHAT?@!>! My mouth drops. I have to clear my head and find a way to say, “No, you should not get the flu shot”, being cautious to keep my tone void of sarcasm. That may seem harsh, but in very turbulent times. Soft language and hand holding until people “get it” is becoming increasingly more difficult.
Being in the business of waking people up to the hazards of vaccines certainly has its ups and downs. A recent “up” was the public policy debate held on November 10 at the University of Texas in Austin. Sponsored by the Libertarian Longhorns, the Texas College Republicans and a few other Texas health freedom groups, the discussion called, “Are Vaccine Mandates Good or Bad for Public Health?” was open to the general public. Interest in this timely topic was reflected by the standing-room only attendance of the meeting.
Speaking in support of vaccination and school mandates was Tom Betz, MD, MPH, Director of Region 7 for the Texas Department of Health Services. Several of his health department colleagues joined him in the audience but chose not to join him on the stage. I had the pleasure of being teamed with Dawn Richardson, President and Co-founder of PROVE (Parents Requesting Open Vaccine Education) in Austin, Texas and the Directory of State Advocacy for the National Vaccine Information Center in Vienna, Virginia. Our presentation was mostly about opposition to vaccine mandates but we were able to address our opposition to vaccines in general. Based on the hundreds of comments we received, the debate (found all on YouTube) was well received and enlightening for all.
All three participants were given the questions to review prior to the debate. There is so much to say about vaccines that preparation was important to cover key points, almost as sound bites; only three short minutes were allowed for each answer. Our very professional moderator, Dr. Donna Campbell, allowed equal time for each side.
During the personal introductions, Dr. Campbell informed the audience that the plan was to have two persons on each panel; but that Dr. Betz was the only person from the Health Department who would agree to participate. Prior to settling in on the stage, I had learned the reason why.
Shaking Dr. Betz’ hand, I thanked him for joining the discussion. He returned the niceties with a slight shrug, confessing that, “No one else wanted to do it.” Surprised, I queried, “Why not? This is a great way to tell everyone your message about vaccines.” My unspoken question was, “Why didn’t the Health Department want to jump on the opportunity to bury anti-vaccination ‘pseudo-science’, as you call it, once and for all, in front of everyone?” He quietly replied, “We’ve done these types of programs before; they never go well.”
It seems pro-vaccine arguments are being soundly defeated, time after time. And the real vaccine “pseudo-science” is being exposed for the rhetoric it is: factoids crafted by public health officials from the WHO and the CDC, and then regurgitated by under-informed medical professionals to a naïve public. Funny how medical bureaucrats and doctors are considered the “experts” when it is strangely obvious they don’t understand – and probably don’t even read – their own medical literature.
The Austin debate was the next important step in exposing that the “science of vaccination” isn’t so scientific after all. Vaccination has been accepted as safe, effective and protective. The shots can be described as a medical sacred cow, defined as “a medical procedure that is unreasonably immune to criticism.” Doctors and patients who question vaccines are ridiculed and marginalized. It is heresy to suggest that the status quo is wrong.

Going to Austin was an upbeat offset to other particularly disturbing news reported over the last few weeks about the H1N1, swine flu vaccine:
• Several schools have vaccinated children without parental consent.
• The growing list of reported miscarriages.
• A teen athlete who is now crippled.
• Two students and a teacher in China who died hours after getting the shot.
• Children having hallucinations, and then committing suicide, after taking Tamiflu.
• The strange and virulent outbreak in the Ukraine, where the WHO has been deafeningly silent about its findings – but knows that whatever is the cause, vaccination is the answer.
We seem to regard germs the same way we think about terrorism: Random attacks that can be deadly. All parties who promote vaccination hawk this view, particularly those pushing both types of flu shots. Tens of millions have been spent in the US on national advertising campaigns, and even Sesame Street merchandising, to convince us that flu shots are necessary to keep us well – and keep us alive. But perhaps we have it backwards. Bugs can cause random, mostly benign attacks, particularly among the healthy. But random, “deadly” attacks, with health consequences that can show up years later? I’d worry more about the vaccines.
After 200 years, with our many advances in science and medicine, you would think that someone could develop a method to protect babies and adults from infectious disease other than injecting them with animal cells, stray viruses, heavy metals and toxic chemicals. Why do we call this health and protection? Until my dying breath I will never understand why people resolutely defend – and demand – the right to inject themselves and their children with these risky potients.
For those who meet resistance when trying to warn family and friends of vaccine risks, the only thing to do, really, is to keep spreading the word. Don’t be discouraged. You never know who is listening and you never know when the seeds will sprout. Focus on those who are waking up and gratefully support them. The rest, well sadly, they may have to find out the hard way what it feels like to get hit by that stray bullet.

The vaccine debate is one of morons verses science. The risks of not vaccinating are many times worse than the risks of vaccinating. Of course there are risks in any medical treatment but it is a question of percentages. The good thing about the people who cannot work out the risk / reward percentages is that they will also make other bad decsions in the life choices and self select themselves to reduce their numbers in the population.
Anyone who belives in Jones malarky will on average be less intelligent, less educated and less successful than those who can make intelligent decsions based on knowledge.

It is very simple -
The fact is that millions of Doctors world wide agree with vaccinations – you cannot take a few rogue doctors seriously against millions of other doctors who disagree with them.
The 20,000 who died of H1N1 were not vaccinated – I bet that their relatives have all taken the vaccine if they were offered it. All around the world the doctors and nurses in hospitals have taken the vaccine but we are supposed to instead believe in the poorly educated on this site saying that they are wrong. Jones has no medical or scientific training.
All our modern civilisation is based on scientific method and anyone who does not understand those principles is not qualified to speak.
All Tenpenny’s points are ancedotal evidence. Even the most paranoid anti vaccination person is suggesting that the 20,000 deaths of unvaccinated people is matched by the small number of adverse reactions to the vaccine.
Unvaccinated people die every second for other reasons so it is absurd to suggest that because a few die close to being vaccinated that automotically proves that the vaccine was responsible.
As to the Ukraine, there was no vaccine in the Ukraine until after the outbreak of the disease and I bet you can’t find anyone in the Ukraine refusing to take the vaccine now.
The WHO orgainsation has in fact released a number of reports and details .
The fact it that the rich and high IQ people tend to get vaccinated and the others don’t so it is unsurprisngly that most of the 20,000 were in the bottom percent.
Where Jones is pernicious is he benefits financially from misleading people.
The rich and successful in society make good lifestyle choices by exercising, not taking illegal drugs, keeping their weight down, vaccinating etc etc and the rest don’t and with people like Jones help, instead of changing their bad choices they blame the result on others.
The self selection that is the end result means that the conspiracy converts will deselect themselves form the population and the successful increase their numbers.

How about the fact the Doctors that DO support vaccinations, are licensed by the A.M.A. which if they went against and did not at the very least, recommend a vaccination, they could lose their license for good. Now how would they make a living? Even IF they DO know there’s more adverse effects than the “protection” it gives, Doctors aren’t going to tell just any or every one of his patients the dirt on vaccines. That is a conflict of interest. Therefore, you stating this “fact” is useless, Doctors have no credibility because of the A.M.A. plus if you just use common sense and research who is in the EPA, CDC, FDA and AMA, you’ll see many, if not the majority of them, worked for a pharmaceutical company, and it would go against their interests if they told the truth about vaccines. Which doctors that you know of, just openly state to their patients all the ingredients of each vaccine, how many show the parents what adverse-effects there are before vaccinations?

Oh? I could say, the fact is… the fact is this, the fact is that.
There’s a fact for you, more and more Rich, Famous, and Middle Class families are switching to Organic foods, non-GMO foods, detoxing heavy metals and toxins, taking more natural supplements and more and more are not taking vaccinations. That is a FACT too. Rich people tend to be in front of the “trends” and so far, Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey both are against toxins in the vaccines.
None of the smart rich people in this world are dumb, they still continue to “IMMUNIZE” their families, just the old-fashion way that is tried and true, for thousands of years, Breast-Milk, Probiotics(found in raw milk, raw fruits & veges) Now, not everyone “does what it takes to boost the immunity of their children” but I… of higher IQ know how to cure illness… yes that’s right, I’ve cured illness, without the help from any doctor, and the people I learned from, had NO medical or scientific training.
How many cures do you think the pharmaceutical companies have out right now, for sale?….. ZERO! I wonder why they don’t make cures for things, only “treatments”.
When there’s a honest debate about vaccines and alternatives, a whole study involved in giving one patient from birth to death, is not vaccinated, eats nothing but organic food, purified water, and natural herbs…. compared to someone that was vaccinated, eats conventional foods, and takes pharmaceuticals and multi-vitamins…. both being twins or clones of the same DNA…

But I can ask this…how many of the other 6.2 billion people on the planet that have survived have not been vaccinated? Half? A quarter? 90%? Regardless of what answer you give, there are far more survivors that have not been vaccinated than the number of deaths you mention (without supporting evidence).

Unfortunately science is not on your side in THIS case. More and more doctors, including the person who invented the flu vaccine, are saying that the truth is, fly vaccines are largely a scam. Once a virus has mutated, the vaccine no longer protects against that pathogen. Viruses are always mutating slightly. There is also increasing evidence that taking seasonal flu shots actually WEAKENS immunity to other flu strains because it circumvents the body’s natural immune system and natural way of building immunity. There is also MUCH scientific evidence on the dangers of injecting squalene and its link to auto-immune disorders, which often do not show up for years, and build one by one. If the vaccines were so safe, why are all drug companies immune from paying out even one penny for any near or long-term illnesses they cause? This is not to say that all vaccines are bad. We vaccinated our children for certain things using single-dose, thimerosol-free vaccines. But why would you knowingly shoot your kid up with a bunch of an experimental substance known to cause irreversible auto-immune disease, in this particular case.
While I agree with you on the over principle that not all vaccines are bad and that some have benefitted society, scams such as squalene and mercury-filled flu shots and the girls HPV vaccination — also linked to serious health problems, are NOT the vaccines you should be up on your little soapbox for. Buyer beware.

I have not had an infectious disease in longer than that. High therapuetic doses of VitD will prevent most diseases. I am sorry MJCW but the pitchfork equipped angry villagers are right on this one. Lets take what you said and estimate the death toll to 20,000 people. That is not very much at all in comparison to your regular yearly flu virus! Granted that there is a risk of death by contracting the flu but that is mostly due to the patient having other medical ailments. You can get the vaccine if you want. Personally I don’t think that the risk is anywhere near as severe as people on this site make it out to be. But at the same time it must be understood that this is a pandemic alert like most that have cropped up this last decades. The media goes wild yet nothing substantial ever really happens. The day that people die in their hundreds on a daily basis I will accept the media bombarment but as things stand it is all being blown waaaaay out of proportion.

No, the type of snapper that the good rev Jesse mentioned is not at all endangered. I was refering to the fish. He was just referring to “snapper”. Butt it is true. Even down here on the wonderful JoJa coast we are under a one to ten year moratorium on red snapper. It will probably be extended to grouper, too. The ban (Federal) runs from Charleston, SC all the way to St Augustine, Fla. That is the area known as the “snapper banks”, about 60 miles offshore. Most of the store bought snapper comes from the Phillipines, the Indian Ocean, or the Gulf, caught in Mexice. These species stocks have dropped dramatically in the last 15 years or so. The season is even closed to recreational fishermen. I’m not trying to tell anybody what to do. But if you consume these fish you truely are participating in their destruction. They cannot be farmed and must be wild harvested. To protect your health, though, you must eat only the small ones, as they haven’t lived a sufficient amount of time to accumulate mercury. But that opens Pandora’s box. The small ones haven’t even hit puberty and had a chance to breed. Any suggestions. I’d hate to see these 2 great food sources disappear.

Yes, I am a fish eater. I believe that fish is the single finest food on earth. I eat small fish. My mainstay is wild cauaght Alaskan salmon, probably the cleanest, finest, healthiest fish on earth. I eat whiting, flounder, croaker, and spanish mackerel (small ones, under 3 lbs). You can go to the website: gotmercury.org and research all the fish that are comercially sold. Small Halibut are also very tasty, healthy and have low mercury. The bigger the fish and the longer it lives, the more mercury it accumulates. Swordfish teaks are the worst, tuna second, king mackerel third, Chilean bass fourth, and some other s--- is 5th. Good, non farm raised, fresh water trout are great. Most farmed fish, like trout, slamon, and catfish are fed a diet of total s---. some of the ingredients are cattle crap, hormones, antibiotics, pig feces and on and on. Thank you for this article. It is always good to remind us the facts. I try to tell people that these vaccines are very dangerous but they dont listen to me. They think that I am a little histerical and a little crazy. I live in a village of 20 people, the majority seniors and this wendsday doctor and nurse will come to vaccinate every one. Not me, evidently nor my husband who has MS from a vaccine. Im not a seniour so those people dont listen to me. They really think that vaccines are good for health. Like, the article say, vitamins. Something good. But some years ago I was thinking the same think. I was ignorant, I didnt know. I was listening to much to my doctor and to the beautiful WHO-.
Today I know more, but it is never to late to learn. I continue to tell people the dangers of this vaccine.

The stupidity is so high that I truly have a better chance putting my point across to my pet dog, then my own family. As I was waiting in line for my prescription, there were several elderly gentlemen seated in another area waiting for the H1N1. Before I knew what was actually happening the lab tech openly injected the first person. I can’t tell you what was running through my mind, but I knew I was too late to inform them.
My concern is the elderly. They seem to be the most vulnerable group, since they usually don’t know anything other than their tv news tells them and they are lining up in droves out here. Most don’t have computers.
As for the comment about the intelligent doctors take and distribute the vaccine? There are just as many who don’t advocate it.
Dr. Michael Pece warned me personally and strongly not to take the vaccine and what about Tenpenny, Len Horowitz and a host of others, all doctors. My cardiologist doesn’t advise it but my family physician is an Obamanite (nice guy, but…) and he does offer it. He asked me why I won’t take the it and a few days later, he quit! (Probably not related, but coincidence.)

Today we’re going to point our skeptical eye at some of the claims made by antivaccine activists, in particular, their lists of frightening chemicals and other dangerous toxins they say are included in vaccines. As it’s an important topic and is increasingly in the public eye, we don’t want to dismiss these claims out of hand. Rather, we want to have a handy working knowledge of the basics so we’re better prepared to deal with such rhetoric when it comes up.
You don’t have to go to the antivaccine web sites to find this horrifying list of witch’s-brew ingredients. The Centers for Disease Control publishes a detailed list of every additive in every vaccine, sorted both by ingredient and by vaccine. I run my eye down this official list: formaldehyde, aluminum phosphate, ammonium sulfate, bovine extract, thimerosal, amino acids, even monkey kidney tissue. This list is published by the very same government that’s assuring us these vaccines are safe. How can that be? Does this mean the antivaccine activists are right, and vaccines are indeed loaded with deadly toxins?

This is a case where cooler heads need to prevail. First, let’s start with the premise that every cell of your body is made up of a huge number of chemical compounds, all of which have scary-sounding chemical names. Therefore, we can derive that scary-sounding chemical names, by themselves, are not to be feared. Cooler heads might choose to allow for the possibility that these scary chemicals are added to vaccines because they serve some useful purpose.
When you’re exposed to a pathogen, it irritates your body. This irritation is what provokes your immune system to respond, and produce antibodies to fight the pathogen. Vaccines work the same way. They simulate the pathogen in order to produce to right irritation. To prepare your body with the right antibodies to fight some anticipated future pathogen, it’s a necessary and expected step for the vaccine to provoke your immune system with a carefully planned challenge. So when you hear antivaxxers charge that vaccines are harmful and irritating, that’s quite true, but it’s for an important reason and it’s very deliberately controlled. This attack on your body to provoke an immunological response is the way vaccines work. It’s the way your immune system rolls. You don’t strengthen your immune system by eating vitamins or drinking wheatgrass juice or doing yoga or having a coffee enema; you strengthen it by challenging it to respond.
So now that we understand that a vaccine is not pretending to be a shot of Mickey Mouse sunshine, let’s take a look at some of these frightening sounding ingredients:

Mercury
This is the most common claim, and it’s the one you’ve probably heard the most about, so I won’t spend much time on it. Some vaccines (but no scheduled childhood vaccines) are preserved with thimerosal, which contains ethylmercury. Elemental mercury is a dangerous neurotoxin, but when it’s bound as an organic ethyl, it’s easily filtered out of your body by your kidneys and is quickly discharged. This is one reason thimerosal has always been such a safe and popular preservative, and it’s still found in many products. Mercury can also be bound as a methyl, which is different, and is much harder for your body to filter out. But fear not; no vaccines or thimerosal ever contained methylmercury, and this scaremongering has no plausible foundation.
Latex Rubber
This one is also completely untrue. Latex is not, in any way, part of any vaccine, and never has been. The source of this claim is the fact that a lot of medical equipment, like syringes and packages, contain latex. Alternatives are always available for people with severe latex allergies. This is a common issue for such people, and has no specific relevance to vaccines whatsoever.

Aluminum
Aluminum, in various forms, is added to vaccines as an adjutant. An adjutant is like a catalyst for the desired irritation, making the challenge even more annoying for your body. It’s supposed to be there, on purpose, to make your body react even more strongly. More antibodies are created as a result of the more provocative challenge. Remember: Mickey Mouse sunshine and roses do nothing.
Aluminum is, of course, a neurotoxin, but only at amounts far, far higher than that normally found in our bodies, in the environment, and certainly in vaccines. Just by living and breathing on a planet like Earth where aluminum is the third most abundant element, the average person consumes 3-8mg of aluminum per day, of which less than 1 percent is absorbed into the blood. Vaccine doses are allowed to contain a maximum of .85mg of aluminum; so the maximum dose of aluminum in a vaccine is about the same as the maximum that might get into everyone’s blood in a normal day (about what’s contained in 33 ounces of infant formula). Most vaccines contain less than this. Studies have proven no difference in neurological condition between children who have had aluminum adjutated vaccines and those who have not.

Aspartame
Once again: FAIL. Completely untrue. Although any search of the web would have you believe otherwise: The phrase “aspartame in vaccines” is all over Google. So what are these vaccines? I searched the CDC’s database of vaccines; nothing. I searched the database of additives; still nothing. I only found only antivax article that mentioned specifically which vaccine aspartame is in, and it claimed only one: The typhoid vaccine Typhim Vi. But it’s not true. The additives in Typhim Vi are publicly available and aspartame is not on the list. This is when the antivaxxers are at their worst, when they simply make up lies. This is not constructive for any purpose.

Aborted Fetal Tissue
They sure picked the scariest sounding thing they could think of here! Although this specific ingredient is made up, vaccines can include all sorts of proteins derived from all sorts of animals.
Human Serum Albumin, or HSA, is a stabilizing protein made from human blood donations, not from aborted fetuses. Bovine albumin is also used in a few vaccines. Some vaccines are grown in cultures of monkey or chicken kidney tissue, and when the vaccines are extracted, a few cells from the culture always remain. There’s never been any evidence that this might be dangerous. Some vaccines are cultured inside chicken eggs, and some egg protein may remain as a result. This can be a problem for people with severe allergies to egg protein, so these people should avoid these vaccines.
You’ll hear all sorts of shock stories about embryonic fluid and cells of exotic animals. Be skeptical of such stories, and you are shocked and concerned, spend five minutes searching the web to find out if that ingredient is actually used; and if so, why; and whether it represents any credible cause for concern. I guarantee you that Jenny McCarthy is neither the first person, nor the best educated, to have considered vaccine safety.

Live Viruses
Some viruses don’t retain their chemical markers well enough when they’re dead in order for the immune system to recognize them, so a very few vaccines are given with the viruses still alive. Formaldehyde is usually used to knock them out, weakening them to the point where they no longer pose a threat, but still alive enough to provoke the desired response. This is not done haphazardly: Finding just the right balance for the vaccine to be effective but not dangerous is hard work.
You’ll hear antivaccine activists shout “Green our vaccines!” What do they mean? Are vaccines environmentally unfriendly? What does “being green” have to do with it? Presumably this is a swipe at vaccine additives which they believe are unsafe or damaging to the environment. Sadly it’s too vague of a charge to answer directly. That’s because they are thinking they are eating healthy, but are ingesting GMO freak foods. Go organic and beef up your immune system with silver, d, flax or krill oil, b’s, etc.. I’m healthy as a horse and already had the damn swine flu. I am happy and healthy because I eat organic, don’t eat meat, use clean/quality supplements, exercise, destress, get plenty of rest, exercise my mind. Vaccines are not the answer, they are part of the problem. STop eating GMO frankenfoods. It doesn’t matter if it appears to be a healthy food item, if it is GMO.

Best thing to do to these Wall Street clowns is this.
Get all of the credit cards you can get your hands on from these people with maximum credit limits.
ATM them everyday for cash for as long as you can.
In the meantime, keep applying for new ones.
Rake in all of the cash you can in the quickest amount of time.
Wait 90 days and don’t buy ANYTHING with ANY of the money.
File Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
With good credit, you ought to be able to rake in at least $100,000 cash this way.
And bankruptcy will wash it all away.
But you MUST wait 90 days before showing any purchases or sabings/checking accounts.
Just bury the cash for 3 months after you can’t get any more credit.
Let those vultures have it right back I say.
Plus, you get to keep your home, everything in it, wedding bands, and one car.

The easiest way to circumvent any legal requirement to take vaccines is this.
1) Cite the fact that you understand the difference between lawful and legal. Make sure to research the distinction. No one can lawfully inject anything into a man, woman, or child. However, legally, they can. However, natural law always trumps any ‘legality’.
2) Cite the many united nations reports which claim the earth is overpopulated. As the medical / jackboot industry believes the UN is God, simply state that by not taking your vaccine you will be helping to depopulate the planet when you succumb to the illness that you are being coerced to take the vaccine for.

Your state has exemption forms. I have them for all members of my immediate family in Texas. Get them notarized and use them. You don’t need a reason to have them in Texas. But you have to get them from the state.

I’m from Northern Ireland what is a government troll? I was considering not getting the vaccine now I am ambivalent after reading some of the pseudo-science on here. Ultimately I probably won’t get the vaccine as I don’t like the idea of injecting any kind of chemical concotion in my body and anecdotally speaking any vaccines I have had in the past have had no effect and I have invariably contracted the flu. I believe the government via the tabloid media and tv news use flu pandemics to bury other stories-corruption in the financial sector, the slaughter of our teoops and civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan. However I must say I still feel many of the anti vaccine ranters and ravers(not all) are every bit as brain washed as the “government trolls” they rail against. For god’s sake be an individual don’t swop one rigid dogma for another!Government trolls indeed!Huh! Dumb hillbillies!
