So, as the child of a US citizen, he’s automatically a US citizen, and it makes no difference where the child of a US citizen is born… it only qualifies him for citizenship of BOTH countries, and in most countries, that’s not even automatic. In Japan, if you are born of an American and a Japanese, you have until the age of 18 before you’re legally required to make the choice, but the US doesn’t even make it an issue. #12 You are wrong. If you are born to American parents outside the country you are a natural born citizen. HOWEVER one can still choose to have their child be a citizen of the country they were born in if that country allows. Dual citizens can not be president. #14 there is an exception to dual citizens getting security clearance. Israeli-American citizens can hold clearance and operate in high offices (see Michael Chertoff Sec. of Homeland Security).

There are three Constitutional requirements for a presidential candidate: 1) He/She is REQUIRED to be NATURAL BORN in the USA 2) He/She is REQUIRED to be a CITIZEN of the USA and 3) HE/She is REQUIRED to be 35 years of age or older. Barack Hussein Obama is a NATURAL BORN citizen of Kenya. He could easily dipute this by providing an OFFICIAL COPY of his BIRTH CERTIFICATE form any State of the Union BUT HE HAS NOT DONE THIS. The “Certifications of Live Birth” posted on the internet have all been proven to be frauds and a “Certification” is much different than a “Certificate”. The United States Constitution, Article II, Section I, Clause 4, Qualifications, Office of President, states:
“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”
Obama does not and has not been eligible to be constituted a United States “natural born” citizen and has failed to obtain and/or maintain “naturalized” citizenship status.
[A] research team went to Mombassa, Kenya, and located a Certificate Registering the birth of Barack Obama, Jr. to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a U.S. citizen. Obama was born at Coast Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya located in Coast Province. Obama’s father was a Kenya citizen and Obama’s mother a U.S. citizen who was not old enough to register Obama’s birth in Hawaii as a “natural born” United States citizen. The laws on the books at the time of Obama’s birth required the U.S. citizen parent to have resided in the Untied States for ten (10) years, five (5) of which were after the age of fourteen (14). Obama’s mother was only eighteen (18) years old when Obama was born in Kenya. Nationality Act of 1940, revised June 1952, United States of America v. Cervantes-Nava, 281 F.3d 501 (2002), Drozd v. I.N.S., 155 F.3d 81, 85-88 (2d Cir.1998).
Even if Obama would have been able to be registered as a U.S. “natural born” citizen in Hawaii, which was not legally permissible, he lost his citizenship in the United States when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, a citizen of Indonesia, and became a naturalized citizen in Indonesia and set up residency in Indonesia with her new husband. Minor’s follow their custodial parent’s citizenship status. In or about 1965, when Obama was approximately four (4) years old, his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, married Lolo Soetoro, a citizen of Indonesia, whom she had met at the Hawaii University, and moved to Indonesia with Obama. Obama lost his U.S. citizenship, when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, and took up citizenship of and residency in Indonesia. Loss of citizenship, in these circumstances, under U.S. law (as in effect in 1965) required that foreign citizenship be achieved through “application.” Such type of naturalization occurred, for example, when a person acquired a foreign nationality by marriage to a national of that country. Nationality Act of 1940, Section 317(b). A minor child follows the naturalization and citizenship status of their custodial parent.
A further issue is presented that Obama’s Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, either signed an acknowledgement acknowledging Obama as his son or Lolo Soetoro adopted Obama, giving Obama natural Indonesia citizenship which explains the name Barry Soetoro and his citizenship listed as Indonesian.
Under Indonesian law, when a male acknowledges a child as his son, it deems the son, in this case Obama, as an Indonesian State citizen. Constitution of Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 62 of 1958 Law No. 12 of 2006 dated 1 Aug. 2006 concerning Citizenship of Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 9 of 1992 dated 31 Mar. 1992 concerning Immigration Affairs and Indonesian Civil Code (Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Perdata) (KUHPer) (Burgerlijk Wetboek voor Indonesie) states in pertinent part, State citizens of Indonesia include: (viii) children who are born outside of legal marriage from foreign State citizen mother who are acknowledged by father who is Indonesian State citizen as his children and that acknowledgment is made prior to children reaching 18 years of age or prior to marriage; Republic of Indonesia Constitution 1945, As amended by the First Amendment of 1999, the Second Amendment of 2000, the Third Amendment of 2001 and the Fourth Amendment of 2002, Chapter X, Citizens and Residents, Article 26 states, “(1) Citizens shall consist of indigenous Indonesian peoples and persons of foreign origin who have been legalized [sic] as citizens in accordance with law. (2) Residents shall consist of Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals living in Indonesia.” Furthermore, under the Indonesian adoption law, once adopted by an Indonesian citizen, the adoption severs the child’s relationship to the birth parents, and the adopted child is given the same status as a natural child, Indonesian Constitution, Article 2. Thus, where Obama was actually born and what his mother’s citizenship status at the time of this birth is irrelevant.
Obama’s Indonesian citizenship status is proven on his school record with a public school in Jakarta Indonesia, which he attended. Obama was enrolled by his parents in a public school, Fransiskus Assisi School, a public school, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Obama’s school record clearly states his name Barry Soetoro, his citizenship, Indonesian, his religion Islam. Obama’s father is listed as Lolo Soetoro, Obama’s date of birth and place of birth are listed as August 4, 1961 in Hawaii, and Obama’s Religion is listed as Islam. This document was verified by Inside Edition, whose reporter, Matt Meagher, took the actual footage of the school record. At the time Obama was registered the public schools obtained and verified the citizenship status and name of the student through the Indonesian Government. All Indonesian students were required to carry government identity cards, or Karty Tanda Pendudaks, as well as family card identification called a Kartu Keluarga. The Kartu Keluarga is a family card which bears the legal names and citizenship status of all family members. This information was verified by the public schools in Jakarta upon registration of the student with the Indonesian Government. Indonesia did not allow foreign students to attend their schools and Indonesia Immigration Officials and the Police frequently visited the schools to ensure the students attending were all Indonesian citizens pursuant to the laws.
Since Obama’s birth was legally acknowledged by Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen, and/or Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro, which the evidence supports, Obama became an Indonesian citizen and bears the status as an Indonesia natural child (natural-born). For this reason, Obama would have been required to file applications with the U. S. State Department and follow the legal procedures to become a naturalized citizen in the United States, when he returned from Indonesia. If Obama and/or his family failed to follow these procedures, then Obama is an illegal alien. The Indonesian citizenship law was designed to prevent apatride (stateless) or bipatride (dual citizenship). Indonesian regulations recognize neither apatride nor bipatride citizenship. In addition, since Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship neither did the United States, Hague Convention of 1930.
As a result of Obama’s Indonesia “natural” citizenship status, there is absolutely no way Obama could have ever regained U.S. “natural born” status, if he in fact ever held such. Obama could have only become naturalized if the proper paperwork was filed with the U.S. State Department, in which case, Obama would have received a Certification of Citizenship.
Obama was never naturalized in the United States after his return. Obama was ten (10) years old when he returned to Hawaii, in or about 1971, to live with his grandparents. Obama’s mother did not return with him, and therefore, unable to apply for citizenship of Obama in the United States. If citizenship of Obama had ever been applied for, Obama would have a Certification of Citizenship.
Obama stated his citizenship as a “Kenya Citizen” when he applied for and was accepted at Columbia University. Obama has refused to release any records from Occidental College, Columbia University, Harvard Law School and any of his medical records.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) does not perform background checks and/or verify their eligibility on our Candidates to hold Office. According to the FBI, once a candidate is voted into Office of Congress, they are members of Congress and therefore they are given a Secret Clearance, again, without any type of background check and/or verification processes performed.

Pakistan was so dangerous that it was on the State Department’s travel ban list for US Citizens. Non-Muslim visitors were not welcome unless sponsored by their embassy for official business. A Muslim citizen of Indonesia traveling on an Indonesian passport would have success entering Indonesia, Pakistan and India.
Therefore, it is believed Obama traveled on his Indonesian passport entering the Countries. Indonesian passports require renewal every five (5) years. At the time of Obama’s travels to Indonesia, Pakistan and India, Obama was twenty (20) years old. If Obama would have been a U.S. citizen, which he was not, 8 USC §1481(a)(2) provides loss of nationality by native born citizens upon “taking an oath or making an
affirmation or other formal declaration of allegiance to a foreign state…after having attained the age of eighteen years”, in violation of 8 U.S.C. §1401(a)(1). Since Lolo Soetoro legally acknowledged Obama as his son and/or adopted Obama, Obama was a “natural” citizen of Indonesia, as proven by Obama’s school record.

I have yet to see a birth certificate from either country. But you cant refuse to consider evidence from his family members reporting that he was born in Kenya. Jesus!

I just want to thank my parents for not letting me be dumbed down with vaccinations and terrible public schooling. I feel very sorry for all the rejects out there saying that it doesn’t matter if Obama was not born in America. Your pseudo-intellect precedes you. First, if Obama is not an eligible candidate but is elected somehow, he is still not automatically president. The president elect is examined by the Speaker of the House, in this case Nancy Pelosi. Write her and tell her you are concerned (if you are). Martial Law will not be declared by anyone. If the President elect is found for any reason to be unable to fulfill his duties as president his vice president will become president.
We are a stable government. We have a system and it works. Use it. If you don’t like Obama vote McCain… if you don’t like either one, write in a candidate of your choice. If Obama is elected and you seriously believe foul play has taken place write your congressman and Senator Pelosi.

I’m not convinced based on some video, sorry. It takes a bit more than a video to serve as evidence for me. However, along with other information found on-line, it certainly casts a dark cloud over Obama. Though, McCain certainly isn’t any better. It does not matter who gets into office, the agenda will still be the same. I’ve found no real difference between to two major party candidates. I have only found strong corruption. Yes, there are third party option, but the chances of one of those every getting into office is next to none. The elections are rigged, and the chances for it to be rigged again, are high. I see no purpose in voting anymore, it’s just a waste of time. A stupid ritual to make you think you have some important decision to make. I smell war brewing in America, regardless what comes from this election.

I’m still voting for Obama. My decision was reinforced when I saw Lynn Forrester Roth$child publicly switch her support from Hillary Clinton to John McCain. I’m hoping Obama will be a true politician and break some of his promises like expanding the war into Afghanistan. I don’t like Zbignew Brzezinski or his Goldman Sachs policy advisors, but my conspiracy theory is that the elite and media wouldn’t have let him get this far without a few of these rotten apples being given some position in his campaign. Unfortunately, truly honest politicians like Paul and Kucinich aren’t allowed to advance in politics much with the current corporate media machine.
Maybe Obama won’t live up to my expectations, but if he does, I know his life will be in grave danger as with any honest politican (Wellstone, JFK, JKF Jr, Lincoln, Jackson, Garfield….). Before Obama implements any big changes for the better, he should make an announcement to the public that if he is ever killed, either by some unwitting racist patsy, or a strange airplane crash, that people should first suspect the CIA, MIC, members of the Bilderberg group, etc.

Uh, NO. The birth certificate is NOT authenticated. First of all, it’s laser printed so it’s not the original, at best it would be a copy. Secondly, the certificate number is blacked out, and it explicitly states that any alterations made invalidate it. Third, there’s no embossed seal of Hawaii on it. So no, there is no valid birth certificate that has been shared with the public.
Both Hawaii and Kenya have sealed his birth records until after the election. Coincidence? I think not. If he has nothing to hide, why doesn’t he just share the original? He’s going to be leader of the free world, and his birth certificate number is going to be a matter of public record anyway, right? There’s no need to seal his records if he’s legit. Plain and simple.
If Obama can vote to give telecommunication companies immunity to snoop on us, we damn sure have the right to get a peek into HIS records. He IS running for president, after all.

Politics is like Chess. And in our current situation Obama is a step in the better direction than John McCain is. It’s a long term strategy you have to have in mind. Not all or nothing election after election fail. Don’t give up just because Ron Paul gave up on us. We can move more candidates in as time allows. Third Party, Independents, etc. And we need to work towards voting reform so we can rank our top three or four candidates when we vote. I think its called Instant Runoff Voting or IRV. That is the long term, smart, strategy in my opinion.
This all or nothing shit each election is just a hopeless strategy and a reason to by negative and maintain cynicism, which takes less effort than the above described chess game.

Yes the posts often take ages to come through and often they are instant. I see many posts from people having trouble who say, “this is my 5th post nd non of the others showed up” and you see all their other posts below. I suspect that due to the massive amount of traffic on this site that it’s not a simple webserver like you and I would put our website on. Alex does refer to it often, some sort of server farm. The site is being fed from several servers, which is fine for looking at but how do all sites show the same message boards. Obviously they have to catch up at some stage, I think this is the cause of the delay, which is seen as cencurship.

Do not know if this is true. Do know that it is a couple days before the election and this pops up on infowars. If this is true, why did not his republican opponents and his democratic opponents, especially Hillary Clinton, use this to make political hay? Obama does not and has not been eligible to be constituted a United States “natural born” citizen and has failed to obtain and/or maintain “naturalized” citizenship status.
[A] research team went to Mombassa, Kenya, and located a Certificate Registering the birth of Barack Obama, Jr. to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a U.S. citizen. Obama was born at Coast Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya located in Coast Province. Obama’s father was a Kenya citizen and Obama’s mother a U.S. citizen who was not old enough to register Obama’s birth in Hawaii as a “natural born” United States citizen. The laws on the books at the time of Obama’s birth required the U.S. citizen parent to have resided in the Untied States for ten (10) years, five (5) of which were after the age of fourteen (14). Obama’s mother was only eighteen (18) years old when Obama was born in Kenya. Nationality Act of 1940, revised June 1952, United States of America v. Cervantes-Nava, 281 F.3d 501 (2002), Drozd v. I.N.S., 155 F.3d 81, 85-88 (2d Cir.1998).
Even if Obama would have been able to be registered as a U.S. “natural born” citizen in Hawaii, which was not legally permissible, he lost his citizenship in the United States when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, a citizen of Indonesia, and became a naturalized citizen in Indonesia and set up residency in Indonesia with her new husband. Minor’s follow their custodial parent’s citizenship status. In or about 1965, when Obama was approximately four (4) years old, his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, married Lolo Soetoro, a citizen of Indonesia, whom she had met at the Hawaii University, and moved to Indonesia with Obama. Obama lost his U.S. citizenship, when his mother married Lolo Soetoro, and took up citizenship of and residency in Indonesia. Loss of citizenship, in these circumstances, under U.S. law (as in effect in 1965) required that foreign citizenship be achieved through “application.” Such type of naturalization occurred, for example, when a person acquired a foreign nationality by marriage to a national of that country. Nationality Act of 1940, Section 317(b). A minor child follows the naturalization and citizenship status of their custodial parent.
A further issue is presented that Obama’s Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, either signed an acknowledgement acknowledging Obama as his son or Lolo Soetoro adopted Obama, giving Obama natural Indonesia citizenship which explains the name Barry Soetoro and his citizenship listed as Indonesian.
Under Indonesian law, when a male acknowledges a child as his son, it deems the son, in this case Obama, as an Indonesian State citizen. Constitution of Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 62 of 1958 Law No. 12 of 2006 dated 1 Aug. 2006 concerning Citizenship of Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 9 of 1992 dated 31 Mar. 1992 concerning Immigration Affairs and Indonesian Civil Code (Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Perdata) (KUHPer) (Burgerlijk Wetboek voor Indonesie) states in pertinent part, State citizens of Indonesia include: (viii) children who are born outside of legal marriage from foreign State citizen mother who are acknowledged by father who is Indonesian State citizen as his children and that acknowledgment is made prior to children reaching 18 years of age or prior to marriage; Republic of Indonesia Constitution 1945, As amended by the First Amendment of 1999, the Second Amendment of 2000, the Third Amendment of 2001 and the Fourth Amendment of 2002, Chapter X, Citizens and Residents, Article 26 states, “(1) Citizens shall consist of indigenous Indonesian peoples and persons of foreign origin who have been legalized [sic] as citizens in accordance with law. (2) Residents shall consist of Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals living in Indonesia.” Furthermore, under the Indonesian adoption law, once adopted by an Indonesian citizen, the adoption severs the child’s relationship to the birth parents, and the adopted child is given the same status as a natural child, Indonesian Constitution, Article 2. Thus, where Obama was actually born and what his mother’s citizenship status at the time of this birth is irrelevant.
Obama’s Indonesian citizenship status is proven on his school record with a public school in Jakarta Indonesia, which he attended. Obama was enrolled by his parents in a public school, Fransiskus Assisi School, a public school, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Obama’s school record clearly states his name Barry Soetoro, his citizenship, Indonesian, his religion Islam. Obama’s father is listed as Lolo Soetoro, Obama’s date of birth and place of birth are listed as August 4, 1961 in Hawaii, and Obama’s Religion is listed as Islam. This document was verified by Inside Edition, whose reporter, Matt Meagher, took the actual footage of the school record. At the time Obama was registered the public schools obtained and verified the citizenship status and name of the student through the Indonesian Government. All Indonesian students were required to carry government identity cards, or Karty Tanda Pendudaks, as well as family card identification called a Kartu Keluarga. The Kartu Keluarga is a family card which bears the legal names and citizenship status of all family members. This information was verified by the public schools in Jakarta upon registration of the student with the Indonesian Government. Indonesia did not allow foreign students to attend their schools and Indonesia Immigration Officials and the Police frequently visited the schools to ensure the students attending were all Indonesian citizens pursuant to the laws.
Since Obama’s birth was legally acknowledged by Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen, and/or Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro, which the evidence supports, Obama became an Indonesian citizen and bears the status as an Indonesia natural child (natural-born). For this reason, Obama would have been required to file applications with the U. S. State Department and follow the legal procedures to become a naturalized citizen in the United States, when he returned from Indonesia. If Obama and/or his family failed to follow these procedures, then Obama is an illegal alien. The Indonesian citizenship law was designed to prevent apatride (stateless) or bipatride (dual citizenship). Indonesian regulations recognize neither apatride nor bipatride citizenship. In addition, since Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship neither did the United States, Hague Convention of 1930.
As a result of Obama’s Indonesia “natural” citizenship status, there is absolutely no way Obama could have ever regained U.S. “natural born” status, if he in fact ever held such. Obama could have only become naturalized if the proper paperwork was filed with the U.S. State Department, in which case, Obama would have received a Certification of Citizenship.
Obama was never naturalized in the United States after his return. Obama was ten (10) years old when he returned to Hawaii, in or about 1971, to live with his grandparents. Obama’s mother did not return with him, and therefore, unable to apply for citizenship of Obama in the United States. If citizenship of
Obama had ever been applied for, Obama would have a Certification of Citizenship.
Obama stated his citizenship as a “Kenya Citizen” when he applied for and was accepted at Columbia University. Obama has refused to release any records from Occidental College, Columbia University, Harvard Law School and any of his medical records.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) does not perform background checks and/or verify their eligibility on our Candidates to hold Office. According to the FBI, once a candidate is voted into Office of Congress, they are members of Congress and therefore they are given a Secret Clearance, again, without any type of background check and/or verification processes performed.

I know what he says, and my immediate family are all voting for Obama. I’m not voting McCain, but I’m not voting Obama either.
I just don’t think Obama’s change is best. Sure in a two party system, it may be a better option then the repubs, but if you look at it that way, you really are not voting for Obama, you are voting against McCain, and choosing the only candidate who can challenge him. Maybe you arn’t, but some old women who came to my door today, telling me to vote for Obama was. It’s either Obama or McCain, but I’ll vote Ron Paul.

I find it amazing that our liberal/mainstream media refuses to cover this. For those of you who claim this is conspiracy theory, etc, consider this. If he was born here, all he’d have to do is get a copy (not the short form which he has released and isn’t a legally binding document) and post this and it would put to rest this entire case once and for all. He’s refused to do this, why? Is it because is full birth certificate says Muslim on it? Is it because he actually wasn’t born here and it would shown that? Then you have to ask the question, why did the Republican governor seal this records? Is it so that it can remain untampered with and be presented as evidence in a court battle which could occur? I don’t understand why ALL of us don’t demand to see his birth certificate, prove he’s naturally born and move on. Although, even if he is naturally born and I wish the video had addressed this as well, how does he explain going to a Indonesian school? Because at that time he went, he would have had to denounce his US citizenship to actually attend, as that was the current standing law at the time (they did not allow dual citizenship and you had to be a Indonesian citizen to attend school there). So he should have to answer to that as well. We need to demand this and if this is actually proven to be true, Obama will owe a great many people a lot of $ for frauding them to fund a illegal campaign.

I am disappointed in Infowars & Alex Jones for putting this video up here. If anyone noticed, the “in” is in insert blocks or parentheses, meaning it’s assumed. That “In” could also mean “Of”. As in “He was born [of] this village.” As a grandmother who loves all her grandchildren, she would reach out to her most absent one and the village would adopt him as a son. For an example imagine if his grandmother lived in a small Louisiana town, where everyone knows her and her family, and a long lost hardly seen grandchild comes into town, knowing who he is would make the same statement as a display of hospitality. So much has been debated about whether or not Barack H. Obama II is or is not a Natural Born US citizen. The problem is that so many people are totally uninformed as to the law as it existed in 1961 as it relates to the transmission of citizenship to a child born outside the US or its Outlying Possessions (OLP).
In an effort to clear the air, to get the FACTS out so people can clearly see the issue without opining or guessing as to the legalilties, allow me to pontificate a bit. For the record, I am a recently retired Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, with more than 25 years experience. Part of that experience is understanding and comprehending immigraiton and nationality law which is at the center of this issue. In short, I know a “little bit” about what I speak of.
In 1961, as opposed to TODAY, Section 301(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, as ammended (INA) required the following: A child being born to one alien parent (ie. Non Citizen) and one citizen parent in a marital relationship, required that the sole US citizen parent to have resided in the United States for a period of ten years, five of which must have been over the age of 14. Today’s version of the law has somewhat different residency requirements for the US citizen parent. But the law, as it applied on August 4, 1961, required ten years presence, five after the age of 14.
Barack Hussein Obama I (dad), was a citzen and national of Kenya. He was not, nor had never been, a United States citizen. Ergo, he is the “alien” parent in this scenario. Stanley Ann Dunham (mom) was a US citizen by virtue of having been born in the US. At the time of Barack Hussein Obama II’s birth on August 4, 1961, Ms. Dunham was 18 years old, having been born in November of 1942. As such, if Barack Hussein Obama II was born outside the US or its Outlying Possessions, on August 4, 1961, then Ms. Dunham could not transmit her citizenship to her son because she failed to have accumulated the necessary physical presence requirements that the LAW (that pesky and inconvenient thing that oftentime gets in the way of “change”) demanded.
The earliese in which Ms. Dunham could have transmitted her citizenship to a child born outside the US would have been when she was 19 years of age, which was in November of 1961 and NOT in August of 1961, when Obama was born.
It’s that simple. If he was born in Kenya, or anywhere else for that matter, other than the US or its OLP’s, then he is not, nor can never be, eligible to hold the office of President of the United States of America inasmuch as he does not, nor never can, fullfill the requirements of Article II, Clause V of the Constitution of the United States. It’s not an optional thing, regardless of whether or not someone thinks it’s fair or not. It’s the law, that pesky, recurring inconvenience that seems to get in the way, time and time again.
Now, the quesiton remains to be answered if he was born in Kenya or not. The State of Hawaii has weighed in and states that there is a record of Mr. Obama’s birth on file in the Department of Vital Statistics. However, THAT is not enough. There are two entirely different and distinct birth documents issued by the State of Hawaii.
The first is a Certificate of Live Birth which is the traditional birth certificate we all are familiar with for children born IN Hawaii.
Then there is a different document entitled Certification of Live Birth, which is issued to children born OUTSIDE of Hawaii but whose birth is registered in Hawaii pursuant to a quaint and scarcely known Hawaiian law, Hawaii Revised Statute 338-17.8. This law allows for the registration of a birth in Hawaii for a child who was born OUTSIDE Hawaii to parents who, for the year immediately preceding the child’s birth, claimed Hawaii as their principle place of residence.
Dunham and Obama Sr. both resided in Hawaii for the year immediately preceding Senator Obama’s birth. Ergo sum, his birth, even if it occurred in Kenya, could legally be registered in Hawaii, and a Certification of Live Birth could have been issued, giving the uninitiated the impression that he was born in Hawaii when in fact, he was not.
It is misleading when the State of Hawaii states that they have examined Obama’s birth record and it is valid. It could very well be the case. The ISSUE however, is whether or not he was born in Hawaii as he claims, or if he was born in Kenya. There is of course, a plausible scenario in which he could’ve been born in Kenya and yet have his birth recorded in Hawaii as having been born in Hawaii when in fact he was not. It’s quite simple acutally. His mother could have lied. That’s right. Ann Dunham could have given birth in Kenya, brought Obama back with her to the US and then fraudulently registered the birth in Hawaii. Is it likely? Who knows? Is it possible? As Sir Aruthur Coynan Doyle has written: Once you have eliminated what is impossibe, whatever remains, however unlikely, is possible.
In this case, anything is possible. And it’s so unfortunate that all but one relative on Ms. Dunham’s side of the family are deceased. His maternal grandmother, who he conveniently just visited in Hawaii, is the one living relative that could possibly shed light on this subject. A simple question aksing her if her daughter went to Kenya prior to Barack’s birth would end the speculation, assuming of course, her response is truthful. And therein lies the rub. With so much fraud being perpetrated by the DailyKOS, Stop the Smears, and others, it’s difficult to believe anything at this point.
And isn’t it oh so convenient that Obama goes to Hawaii on October 23, 2008 and the Hawaiin Department of Health, after his visit to Hawaii, issues the statement that the document they have is legitimate. The wording of their statement leaves alot to be desired. It’s a non answer to a question. Yes, the document is valid. And? Was he born in Hawaii?????? Silence.
The now infamous document posted on Stop the Smears and the DailyKOS, which has been determined to be a forgery by no fewer than three court certified Forensic Document Examiners, was a Certification of Live Birth and NOT a Certificate of Live Birth or Birth Certificate. However, in an effort to obfuscate the issue, the term “Birth Certificate” has been used interchangably with “Certification of Live Birth”.
Assuming that Mr. Obama has a legitimate Certification of Live Birth, the question must be asked: “Why post a forgery?” The answer is as follows:
A. There does not exist a legitimate, authentic birth document for Obama showing birth anywhere in the US.
OR
B. He does have a legitimate Certification of Live Birth issued by the State of Hawaii. However, that document shows his place of birth as being in Mombassa, Kenya and NOT in Hawaii as the forged copy claims.
What is troubling and frustrating is that Obama can, and has had the ability to do so for quite some time, resolve this matter by simply providing a certified copy of his authentic birth document. The only reason that is reasonable for his failure to do so is that he simply doesn’t have a document that shows he was born in the US. His documents all show birth in Kenya.
As to his Indonesian passport, that, in and of itself, is problematic for Obama. In order to have obtained Indonesian citizenship, which is the only way one legitimately gets an Indonesian passport, he must have renounced his US citizenship, assuming for a moment, that he was, in fact a US citizen at any time. The fact that he renounced his US citizenship in order to obtain citizenship in Indonesian also makes him ineligible to hold the office of President of the United States under Article II, Clause V of the Constitution of the United States.
Look. The facts and the law, are just that, the facts and the law. Wishing it wasn’t so, being upset that the law is the way it was in 1961, wishing that people wouldn’t bring that pesky inconvenient issue of the law, won’t change a thing. Mr. Obama, like it or not, whether you think it’s fair or not, if born outside the US, is NOT, nor never can be, eligible to hold the office of President of the United States. Period. End of discussion.
IF, in fact, he was born in Kenya, as it appears he very well was, then his continued candidacy and the acceptance of campaign funds and donations, is a fraud. Furthermore, this issue is likely to throw this country into a Constitutional crisis, the likes of which we have never seen, making the elections of 2000 and 2004 look tame by comparison. And don’t you think Obama knows whether or not he was born in the US or not?
He wrote a book entitled “The Audacity of Hope”. Perhaps it should have been entitled “The Audacity of Ambition”.

With regards to the news reports claiming that the Department of Health for the State of Hawai‘i has Obama’s “birth certificate,” it is important to know the EXACT wording of the agency’s press release. eHere is the exact quote from Fukino, “I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures. No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i.”
Note that she does not claim that she has personally seen the “birth certificate.” She is only verifying that they have one. More important, she only refers to the record as a “birth certificate.” It is crucial to remember that the state of Hawaii in 1961 had TWO types of “birth certificates”: (1) a Certificate of Live Birth and (2) a Certification of Live Birth. The important disctinction is that a CERTIFICATE signfies the child was actually born in the state of Hawaii. A CERTIFICATION signfies that the child was NOT born in the state of Hawaii, but rather somewhere outside of the state to a parent that claims Hawaii as their last state of residence. The CERTIFICATION establishes the fact that Ms. Dunham gave birth to Barry. In addition the CERTIFICATION establishes the fact that his father is Obama, Sr., the date Barry was born, and, most important of all, WHERE Barry was born.
He doesn’t want to release the “birth certificate” because it prove that it is a CERTIFICATION that Obama was BORN alive IN Kenya.
None of this matters though, because he renounced his U.S. citizenship (assuming he was naturalized as a U.S. citizen for the sake of argument) when he claimed Indonesia citizenship. The passport records are critical because a birth certificate is required to obtain a passport. The records will indicate that he was born in Kenya and claimed to be an Indonesian citizen.
The state of Hawaii has not, and cannot ever, claim it is in possession of a “birth certificate” proving that Obama was actually born in the state of Hawaii. The state can only claim it maintains a record certifying that Obama was born alive on August 4, 1961 (if that date is correct), and Obama, Sr. and Ms. Dunham claimed to be his biological father and mother, respectively. Also that Obama’s father was a citizen of Kenya and his mother was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth.
