Is this the sort of behavior we can expect form “leftists” determined to push their agenda? In the video here, an unruly group of protesters opposed to Proposition 8, the ballot initiative in California approved by voters Nov. 6 that bans gay marriage, not only refuse to allow an elderly woman to speak with the media, they assault her as well. Near the end of the video, they grab her cross, throw it on the ground and stomp it.
New World Order minion and California gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger encouraged opponents of the passed proposition not to give up until the measure is overturned.”It is unfortunate, obviously, but it’s not the end,” vowed the governor during a CNN interview, “because this will go back to the courts.”
Is it possible Arnie approves of these sort of violent tactics in order to force gay marriage on the people of California who voted against it?

Clearly these people overreacted. However, idiots clinging to their Bibles should not prohibit homosexuals from forming civil unions. Gays and lesbians have every right to receive the same benefits that straight couples do. Not giving them the same rights is a denial of their liberty and pursuit of happiness. As far as the churches are concerned, it is up to the church hierarchy and their followers to determine if they wish to grant marriage to same sex couples.

I amm for states rights, and the ability for the citizens of each state to vote on things they want to see. Well the Citizens of Cal. do not want gay marriage, and it shold be upheld because the cituzens voted.
That is the way it should be, and the states need to take their rights back, and the people of each state can decide what they want to go on in their state.
Man when I grew up you had respect for your elders, and I would never think of hurting or pushing or taking anything from an old woman. some folks should be ashamed of themselves

as a longtime reader and supporter of this website, i have to say i’m a little dissapointed at this posting. first, this is an isolated incident in what has otherwise been the peaceful protest by thousands of people across california. this is in no way indicative of “tactics” being used to fight prop 8. i would have to say that this posting is misleading. yes, it’s unfortunate that happened, but compared to the violent tactics used by so many other protesters this is pretty insignificant. if you want to talk about “violent tactics” just take a look at what happens when the WTO meets..THOSE are violent protesters…as someone who participated in three no on prop 8 rallies in los angeles this past week, i can assure people were very peaceful

First off marriage did not begin with Christianity. Second no one has the right to impose their beliefs on another. In this case alleged Christians staking claim to the marriage arrangement. Gay is the new black. People fear gays and lean heavily on the prejudice of their ‘beliefs’. People, irrespective of race or sexual preference or whatever line you can draw have a right to live their lives as THEY please. If you don’t like gays then don’t be friends with them. If you don’t like gays getting married then don’t marry them, but ultimately it’s not my business or yours to mandate someone else’s behavior via “the law”. Frankly the government has no business in marriage at all!
I find this sort of news blip ignorant and a big waste of time. Let’s see should we worry about making sure people have less freedom or more? Why shouldn’t this woman be able to protest Prop 8 without being assaulted? Why doesn’t she have the right to carry a cross if she wants? It seems we have a double standard for those against Prop 8 and those against it. And don’t even think to tell me that kids brought up by two mothers or two fathers turn out better than being brought up by a mother and a father. If we vote no to Prop 8 then why not legalize polygamy for the Mormons? They have rights don’t they? Why not legalize a marriage between a man and a dog? Why not legalize adultery and incest while we are at it? Where does it stop? What standard do we have to go by? Apparently the gay agenda is tolerate everyone but Christians.

Yes, this is definitely not representative of most No on Prop 8 rallies.
But this is a protest AGAINST the voters’ decision to ban it. They want to repeal the vote and take it to the courts again. This was not a protest before the vote. That changes it everything.
This is how it happens: ‘liberals’ say they’re the defenders of true democracy and then when a vote passes that they’re opposed to, they look to ignore the vote and use the courts to overrule it.
That’s not democratic.

We as a whole people should really think about how screwed up in the mind we are going off and acting up in the eyes of the creator seriously. Marriage is not the same as racial inequality because people of different races were looked at as non human and the people who choose to be gay are so. See, we dont come out of our mothers wombs saying I want to look like this or that but with being gay it’s choice that person chooses they want to have sex in this fashion. A person is created to find that person and have a whole life with them at the same time have their offspring and keep the family line running in a nutshell. Yea we have relationships based on sex but down the road raising those children of your own and learning through the process is also a major key.

Clearly this was a staged media circus. They may have well been in Denver or Minneapolis with the way that reporter was looking and the fact that they didn’t even attempt to move. There was no violence but the point was to make protesters look bad. I can assure you that they stood there with all the cameras lights on with the reporter warming up for 5-10 minutes begging the gays to come over and make a scene. Have you ever noticed the way they scramble to stop us from disturbing their precious telecast, but when they want to make protesters look bad they’ll just bait them into sauntering right over.

Marriage is a legal contract plain and simple. You can bring your religious views in it or not so it does not matter if the contract is between a male and a female, two males or two females. Who cares! It is such a non issue that’s used to distract us. If you’re against gay marriage, then don’t marry somebody of the same sex! I do find the behavior of some of the protesters deplorable though. Drowning out the woman trying to speak I think is fair game since the interview was being done on a public street (just like when infowars hijacks MSNBC’s broadcasts) but physically assaulting her by taking her cross and stomping on it is low class. It just gives ignorant bigots another excuse to look down on gays.

I agree this was media circus. It’s also a testament to the fact that the state has no business in marriage in the first place. Get rid of the licenses. Return marriage to faith. Notice, that some churches will allow gays to marry here in California. Take with it what you will.
Regardless, I stand firm in one thing: the state has NO PLACE in defining, authenticating, blessing, or registering marriages.
Marriage is between two people and belongs in a faith based organization or even just a public event to tell friends and family your intentions. If you really want to end this issue, get rid of marriage licenses, get rid of tax cuts for married couples (better yet, get rid of taxes altogether), and allow people the option to choose their own health care with the funds that an employer would have put aside anyway. You’ll be able to put money to alternative and local healthcare instead of Mega Corp HMO Inc. which gives crappy care anyway!
Also, with the end of marriage licenses, it gives the state NO AUTHORITY to go after your kids. If the state has a stake in marriage, they also have a stake in the children that come from the marriage.

The line must be drawn at some point. Some things are so sacred, so important, that they must be fiercely protected. Yes, we should all allowed to have the rights due us. However, let marriage be protected: man to woman only. Only within that boundary can we have children, providing for them what the man uniquely can teach and likewise the woman with her uniqueness. And yes, there is a major element of Christianity included in this, at least in my opinion and of many, many others.

Since it is mentioned that gays are “determined to push their agenda,” I demand to know what agenda inforwars is trying to push. Well, you certainly have done your best to undermine my confidence in the news coming from Infowars. I sign on here because I am hoping for integrity and honesty of reporting. This woman was no more “attacked” than, many of the individuals who have been “assaulted” by Alex, or members of the Truth movement (and I’m on their side). I can’t understand it. You also didn’t mention the possibility that the individual who was loudest may have also been a provocateur — as you allege in many other crowded political venues (and which I agree with). In this case, although not impossible he was acting on his own, there is reason to doubt that this large guy wasn’t acting with an agenda — even perhaps to hurt the gay movement — or its objectives thereof. Or, as I suspect in most instances… merely as agents used to sow divisions in every group, because any division is useful to the NWO. Honestly, why don’t you guys get a grip on yourselves and come back to basis principles. I don’t mind your being Christians, but no reason to let this perspective taint every other view you have.

I believe that many of those people were acting out because of the passion and heat of the moment. It is very comon for people, when in large crowds, to get overly worked up because those types of emotions are supported by others who are acting the same way. I so not approve of them being overly aggresive to her, but thats just it, they were being aggresive not attacking her. Not once did I see anyone lay a hand on her. You have to understand where those people are coming from, im sure a lot of them have had to struggle their whole lives to just live the kind of life they want to live. Although you saw in the video just one little old lady against a big crowd of angry and pasionate people, there are way more people who support her view. and i’m sure that if it were a large group of protesters against a large group of christian fundamentalist, no one whould be saying poor old lady then. (these people, who I might add are following a false religion even with mounting evidence against it, so not only have fundamentalist usually been the violent ones what with the abortion bombings, “witch” burnings, biggotry, racism, sexism and all of the other fun stuff they just love to push onto other people, they are also as stupid as peanuts!)
I support the gay movement and believe that it is refreshing to see gays and lesbians finally stand up and say “im pissed and im not taking you s--- any longer!” even if some of them do get a little overly worked up

As Alex always mentions about protesters and people who rally up, there could have been a planted cop in there or something like that. I am to believe that this is just another one of those false flag situations. Not all proponents of gay marriage are angry like that. Around here, people demonstrate peaceful protests, rather than angry yelling… the ones I’ve seen anyway. Also, there are proponents who are of many faiths and display religious symbols in their peaceful protests. I believe that this video is to make proponents of gay marriage look bad.
And another thing, from what I hear is that not all the absentee and provisional ballots have been counted. I voted by absentee ballot and I would hope to be counted. I hear that they were totaled to be around 2 to 4 million uncounted ballots. I’m not 100% sure about that but it wouldn’t be surprising if it were true.
Also, marriage is an every changing thing in history. I’d say that the Council of Trent “redefined” (to use the proponents of Propositions to ban gay marriage) marriage. As Jordan Maxwell says, do your homework!

First off, I have to say that I have very mixed feelings about the whole gay marriage thing. I understand that it’s discriminatory to say that only a man and a woman should be able to marry when you look at it in a purely Constitutional light.
I’ve had a couple of good friends that were gay (unfortunately both died of AIDS) but I’m not sure about the sincerity of gay marriage. Most of the gay men that I’ve known were exclusively faithful to just one partner. I kinda figured that this was part of the allure of homosexuality-at least for men.
They can have sex just for the feel of it without the responsibility of having to deal with the issues of remaining faithful, resisting temptation, staying awake to talk with one’s mate after having sex-rather than falling asleep, or lying to thier partner just to keep out of the dog house!
Why would anyone living that type of lifestyle want to get married. Marriage means monogamy and for many gay men that just isn’t a reality. I’m not saying that there aren’t exceptions. I just think that gay men want the right to get “married” for other reasons perhaps financial or the recognition that being gay is just as valid as being heterosexual.
As for myself, I love women too much so I’ll just have to deal with all of the extra work involved in having a woman as a mate.
I did notice that the reporters skewed their coverage by saying something about hostility on BOTH sides. I must have missed something but that old woman didn’t look too threatening to me, especially when facing a whole crowd of angry men!

I’m a Christian and do not support homosexuality as a biblical point of view.
But that is for the bible believing Christian only, not someone of the world.
If some one wants to be gay then that’s their choice. They should be free to choose.
But also do not force the gay view as that I have to accept it.
Many people do not like Christians forcing our view’s and fair enough – I think Christian’s have tried to force people rather than letting their light shine. So please do not force your view that I have to accept it, I do not and can not as a christian. Someone who professes to be a Christian and gay is an oxymoron and you cannot reconcile the two. But someone that is gay becomes a christian – though that person may still battle with it, they would agree as a biblical point of view that it would be wrong and would work to change through Christ.
I think that both sides in this video were wrong because both where trying to rub their view into the others face.
Oh and by the way – marriage is a biblical ideal – and we have that view because of our heritage.
If gay people want to form a union – fine that’s up to them, but don’t be calling it a marriage – a marriage by it’s very definition is between a man and a women.
I hope that sounds balanced.

Take the word “Marriage” out of the whole thing! Gay couples are not interested in being “sanctioned” by a religious establishment, they want equal rights under the law. There are many reasons for this. The whole idea that gay couples “ruin” the family unit is hogwash. If people protesting against gay equality really want to spen thir time wisely, then have faith in your own religion and stop pushing it on others. If you care about your children, deal with the day-to-day brainwashing they are already dealing with in public schools, the toxic foods, the violent garbage on TV–this kind of stuff is what is really damaging children. Tolerance is a good thing to teach and will make the world a more loving place. Not hatred and intolerance. I do not advocate violence–you will see this movement continue to swell until equality is achieved. If you think gay people are perverts, I feel sorry for you-the very church that advocates against gays has been involved for years with molesting young boys—this is one of the reasons people are starting to look for their spiritual health beyond organized religion.

I’ve heard Alex say that the gov’t shouldn’t even be involved in marriage–Ron Paul agrees with this position. Marriage should be handled by each individual church which can decide for itself whether it will sanction gay marriage or not.

Eric Crawford, why not legalize polygamy (goes “both” ways, women can marry several men and or women IF THEY SO CHOOSE, and men can marry several women or men IF THEY SO CHOOSE)? I also “love” it when people equate gays with animals, while thinking they (usually christians) are not animals, when they are, too. Humans CAN consent, animals (besides humans) CANNOT consent. I’m pretty sure adultery and incest are legal, as well. Gays don’t tolerate christians because theists are just about the ONLY people who don’t tolerate gays.

1. That old lady had the right to be there and her first amendment right was infringed upon by the mob of elbow agents. And don’t give me the strawman argument that Christianity is oppressive – the facts specific to this case are 1. An old lady with a cross and 2. People pushing around an old lady with a cross. We know nothing else of this case and by all appearances the old lady wasn’t physically threatening anyone. Remember, the first amendment’s power is its protection to unpopular speech.
2. Being a student of evolutionary psychology I can state with all certainty that homosexual behavior is maladaptive. This of course flies in the face of evolutionary theory, since this behavior should have been weeded out, since it produces no viable offspring. Frankly, homosexual behavior is a good case against evolutionary theory. I do know of experiments with other mamalia (such as mice) where when the population reaches a certain threshold, homosexual behavior is manifested – so, maybe this is nature’s way of keeping the population down.
3. Pick a civilization of days past and look at the kinds of things go on just before they collapse. The currency is devalued; the army’s power is dilluted; and sodomites are all over the place.
4. I agree that the State has no right dealing with contractual issues, such as marriage and furthermore tax monies extracted at the barrel of a gun for any purpose is immoral.

While I can not agree with violent protests I have to say this. There is no reason on earth as to why gay men and women should not be allowed to get married. They should have the same rights and opportunities that everyone else has. They should be able to be covered by their loved ones insurance, they should be allowed to collect insurance if their life partner dies and they shoudl have the right to be treated as everyother American.
The only reason they are denied their basic rights is because there are too many religious zelaouts out there who try and press their own beleifs on the rest of this country.
There are to many other things in this world to be concerned about that what is done between two concenting adults.

To those who are saying there was no assault, I hate to burst your bubble, but the yanking of the cross out of the elderly lady’s hands was assault. Joe Scarborough committed criminal assault when he broke a We Are CHANGE camera because the camera was in the hands of a We Are CHANGE cameraperson. If I were to be at that rally and yanked a pro-gay sign from the hands of a gay protester, I would be arrested for assault and probably a hate crime.

The protesters behaved inappropriately, I’m embarrassed as a member of the gay community by this. These are childish people, but to characterize all gay people as such is the same as characterizing all straights to be like Britney Spears or like gay bashers. People are people. There are bad christians and good gay people and vice versa. I would never treat an elderly person, gay or straight, with anything but respect.
I have been with the same partner for over ten yeas and have friends, guys, who have been together since 1982. Some of us just want to be left alone to live our lives. We’re not all bad people. That is all I am saying.

I’m glad the state of California voted “yes” on proposition #8 that bans same-sex marriage. Common sense sometimes preveils!!! The institution of marriage is meant for the union of one man and one woman only. Period!!!! Marriage was and still is ordained by God (Jesus Christ) since

If you were truly a part of Gods kingdom and not mans you would have a leg to stand on. In short homosexuality does not have a place in gods book but it does in mans world and they have as much right to it as any other worldy thing. In this system they should have a right to all the benefits that anyone else has because it is a worldly or public system. you cannot legilate morality. By force I assume you mean force them to co-exist with same-sex couples in their area who are married, and this somehow oppresses them? This reminds me of the South African Apartheid where blacks were not allowed to marry whites; or the nuremburg laws where aryans were not allowed to marry jews. Laws cannot be made on behalf of a religion. The common denominator of these examples is hate, and that will always be the root of it now matter how hard people try to categorize it according to subject.

You religious people blow my mind. You guys need to understand that those guys are an angry minority of the gay rights movement. There are more FAMILIES in this world that are gay and have no protection under the law. They just want the same protections as everyone else and it isnt a religious issue for them. If you guys want to make it a religious issue then Marriage laws for all people need to be thrown out so that we all have the same rights under civil unions. But you cant sit there on your high horses and complain about something that you know nothing about. Those people have had thier lives ruined and thier property taken as their loved ones pass into the next world. So if you want to make it a religious issue deinstitutionalize marriage from government and have your church be the only institution that recognizes the bond of matrimony. Thier will have to be equality under the law or noone is going to be happy. I dont get how it hurts anyone in the first place. They arent asking you to marry someone of the same sex. Get over yourselves and get off your thrones and be fair for once and show everyone that Christianity is about tolerance and caring instead of fear and hate.

Thank you for your respons. I hope you understand my trouble. I live in a country where all is liberal and GOD is almost forgotten. People say they believe, but act otherwise. I am the first to say that i am not living as i shoot be. I am a alcoholic for many years now, and can not control it. Somehowe it is in my system and i can not get writ of it. I always believed in GOD but are not living by his standerds. I had a verry diffucult live for the past 20 years but never blaimed enyone. I never stopt believing. Who am i to judge you see. I pray for everyone but myselfe, and i do not want to. You can see me as a lost soul. I am not to pitty, because i made dose choises myself. I hope GOD is not to hard for me but i can not blame him for that. It is stil my own choice. I think it is the same with gay people. The only thing i have left is to pray for all lost souls but myself. I hope one day someone is praying for me, and i wil get strong enough to leave it all behind. Adhering to facts can’t be characterized as hate and accusing someone of hate because they have faith is ridiculous…it is a childish and weak way some attempt to defend what they can’t prove and when you argue under that guise you expose the flaws in yourself and your thinking.
Faith is a different matter.
FAITH = Belief that is not based on proof.
Faith can be proved or disproved by facts and so it is honest to have faith in something not yet proven. But it is dishonest to claim something as a fact that is not proven.

I don’t hate gay people like some of you here, but I don’t think they have the right to be married like a man and woman either. In fact I don’t think gays should have any rights at all.
You know, you cannot help what you think about, how many times did you think about killing someone you hated? We have all had those kinds of thoughts, but that does not mean that we go out and do it. Gays have all these thoughts about having sex with the same sex, but they don’t have to act it out. It should be against the law, it certainly is against God’s laws. Gays do not have the right to rub our nose in their sickness. They should stay in the closet where they belong and not parade around telling everyone how great it is to be gay.
I have gay friends, believe it or not. I live in a rural area where gays know better than to parade around asking for gay rights because someone would shoot the bastards and put them out of their misery. I tolerate gays,,,,up to a point, and they would all be a lot better off leaving well enough alone if they plan to live along side normal people. Otherwise as far as I am concerned they should be rounded up and shipped off to live somewhere in Alaska where they will not aggravate the rest of us. No, they do not deserve any more rights than anyone else, even though they think they are oh so special. Sick….

I used that as an example, because I think most people have been angry enough to commit murder at one time in their lives….it had nothing to do with the gay issue other than to illustrate that thoughts do not have to become actions. Too ugly to have sex? Well from what I can see of gay men they are better looking than the average guy, but then, I am attracted to MOST men, I even like bald men, and heavy men too. Actually looks are what attracts someone at first, but looks do not mattter as much as what this person is like. How he thinks and acts…that is what is more important. If a guy can’t keep a woman in his life, believe me, it is not because of the way he looks. If he does not work or is a dud in bed, that has a lot more to do with it. Men really do not understand how women think about sex either, what happens at night starts that day at breakfast. If a man is gay simply because he cannot keep a woman, that can be fixed, EASILY!

As for you, dear Christians, you’re no better. Stop quoting your precious scripture every time ANYTHING happens, you probably won’t convince anyone. Just live by your rules AND let live! You’ll probably hate me for what I’m about to say, but some of your claims that this nation is a Christian nation is a big joke. Why? Probably because many points that the Constitution states were written in accord with pure MASONIC standards, especially the one giving the right to worship ANY god at ANY altar according to one’s belief and conscience. You can even worship Satan if it suits you as long as you obey the law. That was when the real masonry was powerful and wasn’t polluted by disgusting Illuminati ideals. Your founding fathers, including Washington, were freemasons, and yes, some were Christians. Sure, there is clearly Christian influence in the foundation of this country, but don’t forget that there were tens if not hundreds of different Christians denominations that wanted to have their influence on the Constitution and they couldn’t agree with each other. If one couldn’t impose their ideals on others, then everyone else was going to hell… About God in the Constitution, does the document state all its creators meant Christian God? Exactly…
So, I’ll repeat my point: live and let live. It’s not your business what other people do in their bedrooms. If you think their sinners, then it’s their path to take, not yours. Besides, doesn’t the religion teach we’re all sinners? If homosexuality is a sin then I must say I know of supposed Christians doing things much more horrible than gay sex. I you want examples then maybe you should find out what white Anglo-Saxon Christians did to American Indians or African slaves. Should I mention the fact that the creators of the Constitution were slave-owners? Some would even say it’s ironical that Americans have become slaves in their own country nowadays.
Last but not least, someone mentioned gay parades. I agree, they are repulsive, tasteless and juvenile. Normal people don’t go outside to demonstrate their sexuality. Something that is called Love Parade in Berlin isn’t really about love but rather shows a bunch of drugged imbeciles with tacky dresses (or none at all) trying to get some attention and, if lucky, a sex partner for a night. That kind of trashy show isn’t appropriate for children’s eyes too.
None of my friends, straight or gay, would even think of going out to show off with their sexuality. Honestly, I can think of little things that are more tasteless and dumber that that. Healthy people keep their sexual life for themselves. Period.
So, if you managed to read it all – thanks for that. I’ll repeat that for everyone: you’re all missing the point! It’s called the 1st Amendment. Both gays and the old woman had their right to voice their opinions, that’s called freedom. However, they didn’t have the right to act like stupid animals and attack each other.
STOP fighting! And may it get through your skulls that you have a common enemy who advances with their plans while you practise your endless ignorance. Not matter if you’re gay or straight, flouride and other chemicals will hurt you the same way. And…if you actually read my posts you would see that I have gay friends, friends that I love as human beings, but pity that they will never know what it is like to have a hetero sexual love affair. Furthermore, my dear boy, I worked as an ER nurse, and I have first hand knowledge of some of the things gays do in the bedroom. Legally you already have all the rights of a married couple. You can own property together, can get every kind of insurance, including medical/health/life. Frankly Bigotry, medicine is finding out more and more why people are homosexuals. For many gay men, their brains got too much estrogen while still in the womb. I believe these people cannot help being gay, it is not a choice. These kind of men are often very much like women in the way they think. Then there are the other kind of gay men who were molested as children by a member of the same sex, and were so traumatized the child grows up with a confused sense of sexuality, and like you are often very angry. Palm Springs is one of the gayest cities in America. It’s too Gay and too hot for most Gay men and women to live in, but it’s a nice place to visit. America is an idea; it is supposed to continually evolve. Marriage is a word that we give meaning to. Religion can’t own the word because people disagree on the official story of God/Religion. If you study the words/language/laws on marriage, they’re not telling priests/preachers/people to go against their religious convinctions and allow these marriages to be performed or allow them to be performed in their churches where it is against their religious laws. Oh but after that’s been said, I doubt Gay people will see equality before this country implodes. Gay people just are though; some folks should think for themselves or go back and take some biology and science classes. For God’s sake, at least 1 out of every 10 kids are Gay. I can’t imagine a loving God wanting us to hate and discriminate against 10 percent of our children. At the same time, I wouldn’t want Gay kids to be coddled or getting special treatment because they’re Gay; it isn’t that hard folks, but apparently we going to make it very difficult. So many Gay people are really smart. Alex Jones probably realizes he’s woke up a lot of people, he’s probably aware he’s woke up a lot of Gay people. There is an account of a man whose ear was amputated and healed by God when He was living on earth (because Jesus is God):

Before we look at gay marriage / same sex marriage, first we have to remember what the Bible says about homosexuality. While the Bible doesn’t address the concept of gay or same sex marriage, the Bible does clearly and consistently tell us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). God does not create a person with homosexual desires. A person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of his or her own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving in to their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for them to give into those desires? Of course not. The same is true for homosexuality.
There is no such thing of a gay gene, no one is born gay or born with a gay nature, being a homo is totally unnatural! Maybe that’s why the US is going to hell because your country has been given the gift of freedom but in the end, you just always end up Corrupting it.

ok, because i do believe in free speech- i do respect what all of you are saying. however, being a homosexual and someone that is also very much on your side as far as issues are concerned, i do have to ask- where does all of this hate come from? i do not think that attacking anyone let alone an elderly woman is ok in any circumstance, and i disagree with the actions of those in this video. i also do not agree with the hateful words being said here about people that are your fellow americans either. each one of you probably know a lot more gay people than you will ever realize, and we’re not as a whole evil. i’m sure that there probably are homosexuals that are terrible people, but lets be honest, you could say that about any group. unfortunately that is the way of the world. i was raised a christian, and hold very tightly to the values taught by my parents. yes, i am gay. no, i do not rape small children, push elderly people, lie, steal, or cheat. i am an educated american citizen that sees through the nwo, and unfortunately people this is yet another ploy. i can think of many other movements that were set in place to divide this country and this is no different. one of the most wonderful thing our founding fathers did was keep church and state seperate. all that i am asking is that i be granted the same basic human rights as the rest of you. i am not asking you to agree with my lifestyle, but rather to agree to disagree and move on. hate is only going to tear our country further apart, that is something we must really think about on both sides of this coin.

You know. I have friends that are gay and I have told them I believe marriage should be between a man and a woman. They understand that that is my opinion. There is no hate. I dont hate anyone who is gay. So just because I have a different opinion I’m showing hate? Has anyone noticed that the anchors said there was a lot of hate from both sides, but as far as I can tell it seems to be coming mainly from the protestors. Now, I voted against Barack Obama because I dont agree with his views on abortion, judiciary and many other issues. I have been repeatedly told by the media that because I dont agree with him I’m racist. So now because I dont agree with Obama and I dont agree with the Gay Rights Protesters Im a hateful racist. I see so many people like those protesters that the media and others excuse by saying that they are just frustrated or upset, but that is not an excuse. I bet if I had gone over there and just said that I appreciate why your there and you have every right to fight for what you believe, but I just dont agree I probably would have been lynched and then the media would have said it was my hateful speech that caused it. I really wish that those that want equality would stop expecting to be able to get special treatment. Thats not equality. I know that its faux pas to share your thoughts if they dont jive with the media and other liberals, but I will continue, not to promote hate speech like they want everyone to believe, but because I have the right to my views. I dont want to push my views on others, but I’m tired of being told that they dont matter or they’re wrong just because they aren’t liked.

As you can clearly see, the consumption of non-kosher foods and acts of sexual immorality are not both equally sinful. According to God Himself, eating shellfish is not a sin at all, and this Jewish civil law is only still kept by Jewish people who continue to follow their traditions in disregard of Jesus’ teaching. They are not wrong in doing this, but it is not necessary. On the other hand, it is necessary for everybody in the world to follow the moral laws that God gave to Moses in the Old Testament, and nobody even needs to read the Old Testament to know that they are breaking a moral law; the conscience will convict. Anytime any of us do anything morally wrong, we know it because our consciences makes us feel guilty. This means that every homosexual knows that they are doing something wrong regardless of whether or not they have read the law in the Bible. It does not matter what the lustful desires of homosexuals may be – they are not entitled to any rights according to God, and they certainly should not be granted any kind of legal status in order to receive the same benefits as lawfully married couples. Gay marriage will always be unlawful from God’s perspective, and His is the only perspective that matters.
Also, the concept of “separation of church and state” is not found anywhere in the U.S. Constitution. The “separation of church and state” comes from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to the Danbury Baptist Association. The Danbury Baptists were concerned that the government might try to institute an official church like the Church of England, which would take away the right of individual denominations to freely worship God as they please. Thomas Jefferson wrote back to the Danbury Baptists that “their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.” Thomas Jefferson in no way implied that this wall of separation was to keep God out of governmental affairs, but that it was symbolic of the government being prohibited from mandating an official religion. It is entirely constitutional to exercise Christian beliefs and practices in government. Nobody has taken away the rights of homosexuals to marry or form civil unions, because this is a right that they never had in the first place, and it is a right that they are in no way entitled to. The government does not give people their rights. God gives people their rights. The Constitution declares our rights and states that the government cannot take our rights away. When homosexual marriage or civil-unions are made legal by a government, they are still illegal according to God, and – believe it or not – there will be a price to pay on Judgement Day.

I never saw anyone get punched in the above video , just the cross getting knocked down. Alex also said that if a gay person had a rainbow flag and it got knocked out of their hand and tramped on then it would make national news…what the f--- ever…gay activists and protesters get that sort of s--- all the time… Alex don’t you remember the bus tour protests that went around Texas back a few years ago and how the radical Christians tore gay protestors signs up and asaulted them…you know gay people have stood by and watched people desecrate their funerals by the likes of people like Rev. Phelps, vitriolic hatred of the Jerry Fawell crowd as well the dehumanizing bulls--- that gay people have to put up with on a day to day basis in the work place because our country doesn’t believe in protecting its minority citizens from the oppression of the majority. Lets look at the facts. Gay people are not going to f--- in the work place, infront of straights, we don’t want children or animals as sex partners. If we get marriage it doesn’t mean straights are married to us, we don’t give tours of our personal sexual liasons, we are not all prostitutes or porn stars, and a large portion perhaps even a majority of gay people don’t get a say in the so called “Gay Community” organizations. We don’t recruit people to become gay, you either are already gay or bisexual if you have sex with the same sex. Gay men and women are genetically different than their striaght counter parts with differences in hormones, brain activity, and brain size, we are born different. Gay men and women are often born from highly fertile mothers. Gay people generally will not have children so that leaves room for you striaghts out there to have the earth for your children. Gay people are 9 times more likely to invent, compose music, plays, and develope entertainment, create great works of art, help aid other groups in their efforts to asert their freedoms and rights, and are often masters at stretching a dollar.
The bible is not everyones religon, and in some cultures gay people were and are highly respected people. Gay people generally have more self control than straights because we have had to in order to keep from being murdered by homophobic psychopaths. I do believe in God, but certainly not the hateful God of many straights out there. While we are talking God here the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah wasn’t homosexuality, it was inhospitality. Look it up and read.
I am not an activist, I don’t care for the so called “Gay Community” groups cause they don’t represent us any better than our politicians do. Gay people want the same rights that straights have regarding the law, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights that ALL Americans are supposed to have. Instead we get fired from jobs for being Gay, housing discrimination is still a factor in some areas, we can’t marry our spouses in most states with the same legal protections, if we do have kids from previous relationships grandparents can make a law suit to have them taken from us, if imprisoned gay people don’t have visitation rights as a family member, gay people are barred from giving blood, and gay people are taxed more than straights because of the marriage rules under the tax code.
Imagine if you straight folks had a spouse of 30 years and your spouse died. Then the parents of the dead spouse came and kicked you out of your home, took your belongings, your kids, and you had no recoarse through the court system because in the eyes of the courts you had no “real marriage” and thus no rights. I think you would want to smash a few crosses yourself. There is no difference between the vitriol of Rev. Phelps or this old woman in their message or retoric and I think Gay people have had just about enough bulls--- from these types.
The New World Order has people in it from every walk of life, every color and creed. There are good people and bad in any group. The question is simple do you want the government or the public in your bedroom dictating your lifestyle, your personal life, or who you can marry or can’t marry, or dictating whether you should have the privledge of working based on your sexual orientation? If your on this webpage then I would guess the answer would be no.
Lets not forget the first group of people the NAZIS went after. It was the gay people of Germany. Post 373 Ashley, I agree with you ….almost. There is some evidence that babies who get too much estrogen to their brains while in the mother’s womb will be born effeminate. But, there is medical help for that, the gays just don’t want to seek it out, they would rather cause all kinds of trouble.
There is also evidence that children who are molested by the same sex could have problems with sexual indentity later in life, but once again,,,there is help for that.
Obviously, the gays are not interested in getting any help, because they think they are normal. They are as normal as that 1000 pound man. That’s how normal they are. Being an ER nurse, I get to see first hand “artifacts” of their lovemaking. In fact, every large hospital has a collection of gay “artifacts”. Believe it or not, there is even a tool kit in there…..now this is normal?? Who would want to have to live like this? Medical help is available…they should at least check it out. For all you people out there who are gay and reading this, if you are not happy with your sexuality, please go and see your doctor. Believe me, the medical community would be more than happy to help you become heterosexual. There are hormonal treatments that really work, and there is also counseling that helps many many gays live heterosexual lives. It really is not your fault in many cases that you are “gay”. Even animals are born gay. I grew up on a farm, and we had a bull that was gay. Of course he was not actually having sex with another bull, but he showed no interest at all when the cows came into heat. This was a prized Angus bull, and they do not come cheap. The vet came out and gave the bull a few shots of testosterone, and within a few days that bull was sniffing the wind, and snorting and pawing the ground, trying to get to the cows in heat. The shots had to be given every couple of months, but they worked.
Of course humans are much more complicated. But if you are an effeminate male, it is not your fault at all that you are “gay”. It simply means that your brain got too much estrogen while your mother was carrying you. To me, the effeminate gays are so gentle and child like, and I think they suffer the most because they are in many ways like a woman. But, this kind of gay person can be helped through hormonal therapies.
If you are gay because you were molested as a young child, there is help for you too. Although it is harder to heal the mind than the body….many have been helped. Obviously, if something like this happened to you, it is not your fault. Many alcoholics and addicted drug users also have a history of being sexually molested as children. In many cases these events made them turn to drugs or alcohol. Child molestation never ends when the molestation ends, it stays with many people their entire lives, making them something they really are not. If you were molested as a child, go and see what counseling can do for you.
There is another kind of gay person, and that is the kind that has no social skills with the opposite sex. If you saw “Break Back Mountain” you know what I mean. When the love affair started they were two horny guys out there in the middle of nowhere with no women in sight. If they were in a more normal social setting, and had more contact with women, they might not have been attracted to each other. Many men are very shy around women, and some find it very hard to overcome. Because sex is such a driving force, it is no wonder that they will turn to their own sex for fullfillment. However, there is help for men like this too….it is complicated and different with every person, but a good counselor can really turn some people around.
Especially if you are a young person, and being gay is all you know, you owe it to yourself to go and get some help. If you are gay, you might never have children and that is very sad. You DESERVE to procreate, it is a God given right.
You don’t have to be on the outside looking in……there are medical reasons for being gay, and you can be helped.

The day this country begins deciding who has liberty and freedom it will be a sad day indeed. Look, whether you believe people or born that way or it is a choice to be gay really is of no significance. This is supposed to be a free country for all. Religion has no place in our politics or when choosing who gets certain rights and which one of us doesn’t. The atheist isn’t born an atheist, they choose that for themselves and because of our constitution they are given the same rights as a christian or other group of people representing a way of life and a belief. Whether gay marriage is approved or not will not change the number of homosexuals in this world. I will continue to teach my children right from wrong according to my beliefs regardless of prop 8. To me , the right way to be is to live and let live as long as they are not hurting others in the process. All the people I know that happen to be gay laugh and cry like I do, work hard to provide for themselves, have incredible work ethics and would be there for me and my family in a heart beat if we needed a helping hand.
What happens in someone’s bedroom should not be a debate or even something we as citizens should even concern ourselves with. What we should be focusing on is gays and straights that are promiscuous and spreading disease throughout our communities. Unwanted pregnancy is yet another issue much greater than the passing of prop 8. It seems to me that if you give homosexuals the same opportunity as all of us straight members of society, you may very well see a decline in promiscuous behavior because they can settle down, buy a home together and have the same normalcy of life that anyone that is straight have just plain taken for granted. Freedom for all is the focus and the goal. I am certain our founding fathers meant for it to be that way.
All of those advocating for YES on Prop 8, I would highly suggest you be extremely careful of what you wish for. A government that begins to control who has rights and who doesn’t is nothing short of a dictatorship. Let freedom ring and by the way WAKE UP!

Let me make one thing clear, I do not hate gay people or think that gays should not necessarily have the right to marry….(I actually think gay marriage could reduce the number of HIV infected individuals in the country which is currently skyrocketing).
However, homosexuals do not appear to want to stop at just that. They are going to want to adopt children next…(no one can convince me that a child will grow up “normal” being raised this way); they are already urging Congress to pass laws that will require people who believe that homosexuality is wrong to be “reeducated” and let’s not forget the “transgender” restrooms…that is just depraved not to mention dangerous.
In this particular case, this old woman was in a public place and had every right to stand there and state her opinion under the first amendment. If you do not agree with that, you are neither tolerant nor a proponent of Constitutional rights.

For what it’s worth – this posting area has turned into full scale war about the old lady’s religion.
If you want to deny that God exists I saw a programme on Discovery where scientist and mathematicians set about doing just that.
They discovered that the chances of our world just ‘happening’ was a billion trillion to 1 and their conclusion was that there probably was/is a ‘creator’. Fasinating programme.

Are you THAT ignorant of the law? You DO NOT have to physically touch somebody for it to be assault. Smacking an object out of a person’s hands is assault. If somebody is filming you and you smack the camera out of their hands, you have committed assault. If you were to loudly scream in a person’s ear and cause hearing damage, you could be charged with assault and even malicious wounding.

1. A male human or animal can get pregnant by means of homosexual copulation…
2. You provide some evidence that during the evolutionary course, the homosexual race’s genetics gradually made he or she sterile due to lack of heterosexual copulation. (Which is b.s. as a homosexual male can easily get a woman pregnant and vice versa).

As I have tried to make clear earlier, gay people and civil rights don’t mix. And this creates a problem as gay people use civil rights as their scapegoat. Sure, Homosexuals can do whatever they choose in their bedroom, no biggy. I personally do not care as long as their actions are equally consented. But marriage is a religious institution and gay people have much more on their minds than simple “marriage”, they have an agenda and will admit as much.
And concerning your address to me at #386, Need I say more than NAMBLA?? I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want a Catholic priest adopting my child anymore than I would want an open homosexual adopting them. Statistics are all quite clear that homosexuality and pedophilia appear to have a common correlation.
I will agree that it is terrible for a child to have to grow up without a father. But a child should never have to grow up without a mother and two homosexual men adopting a child would be forcing the child into a world of said existence despite the fact that a straight couple could have adopted the child.
Furthermore, You and many others here don’t seem to understand that the PEOPLE voted in favor of proposition 8. Most people don’t want polygamists to marry, and teach their children that it is wrong. Likewise, Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice, the people understand that homosexuals were not born that way and therefore a choice like being against gay marriage is not akin to something like racism.

This is the first time, however, that scientists have used brain scanners to try to look for the source of those differences.
A group of 90 healthy gay and heterosexual adults, men and women, were scanned by the Karolinska Institute scientists to measure the volume of both sides, or hemispheres, of their brain.
When these results were collected, it was found that lesbians and heterosexual men shared a particular “asymmetry” in their hemisphere size, while heterosexual women and gay men had no difference between the size of the different halves of their brain.
In other words, structurally, at least, the brains of gay men were more like heterosexual women, and gay women more like heterosexual men.
A further experiment found that in one particular area of the brain, the amygdala, there were other significant differences.
In heterosexual men and gay women, there were more nerve “connections” in the right side of the amygdala, compared with the left.
The reverse, with more neural connections in the left amygdala, was the case in homosexual men and heterosexual women.
The Karolinska team said that these differences could not be mainly explained by “learned” effects, but needed another mechanism to set them, either before or after birth.
‘Fight, flight or mate’

Ok, so some people are born gay, they cannot help that. But in many cases, effeminate males can be helped with hormonal therapies. Have you seen any studies that support this further?

Carla H, all the studies I’ve seen show that once the fetus has been set genetically its a done deal. Supposed repairitive therapies only work for short durations and increase suicides. If you can’t make a hetrosexual Gay you can’t make a Gay person straight. It really is that simple.
Being Gay and Gay marriage is not a religous issue. It is a human rights issue. Civilizations do not decline because of acceptence of homosexuality. Civilizations decline due to over extension of government and religous repression into peoples private lives and over extensions of military control.

You are right Doris, I have not acted very Christain like in some of my comments. And I apologize for that.
After reading Scott’s last post, I am thinking twice about gays. I wish there was more research into all of this. I know in my heart that some people really cannot help it that they are gay, in fact some of my best friends are gay. I know that SOME people are born gay, and they cannot help it, and as Scott pointed it out, medical treatment to reverse it may be disasterous.
I have come to realize that you cannot just slap a label on a human being and judge from there. You have to get to know each person, I cannot help but like Scott. He is a gentle soul, and a very decent human being, if he is gay, what difference does that make? On the other hand there are people on here like Aussie, and he would be hard to get along with no matter what his sexual oreintation may be.
One of the worse sins is abortion and that is a completely hetero sexual sin. At least we can’t blame the gays for that.
At the end of the day, where does all this name calling and meaness get you? What problems does it solve?

About the fay pride parades…. Coming from a small mid west town…..It wasn’t until I was 22 years old that I saw a gay pride parade. I was so shocked, so discussed, that I threw up in the bushes! I simply could not believe that people acted like that.
Not all gays are into acting like that, but the kind that do make it harder for all the rest of them. What they do not maybe realize is that any normal person would be put off by such a display. Gay pride parades make a lot of straight people hate them who would otherwise be more accepting.

Eman, what if what we believe is right, is wrong? What then? So, when someone does an act that is wrong in your eyes (gay sex, I believe, not sure), they think it’s right. Is that not showing love or care, just because (not specifically) you don’t think it’s right?

If you believe in a god and their hell, is it really freewill if you don’t want to go to hell? It’s called entrapment. (<- may be a strawman, if you don’t believe in a hell)
Also, you can’t choose who you love, or what you like. That’s why being gay is not a choice.
Influence may play a (VERY) slight part in your sexual orientation (usually the different “pretend” to like the opposite sex), but usually only when the influence is negative towards your beliefs/feelings. We as humans look at a lot of the negative, but only sometimes do we notice the positive (or neutral). “We” don’t like to be made fun of, called names,beat up, etc., just for our feelings/beliefs.

It’s so common today to say “whatever is truth for you”…but that can’t work. If I went around murdering babies and said ” it’s truth to me that it’s okay to do it” would that work? of course not. Are you kidding me? I thought this was a site for truth? No one “attacked” that woman they were only protesting her agenda and thought it inapropriate for her to give an interview right in the middle of the”enemy camp” so to speak. Remember, this is a rally AGAINST prop 8 and she is for it. I wish the gays would get as heated about the new world order as they get about their questionable right to marry.

Gay people have the same rights as everyone else, but they do NOT have the right to enforce their views on the rest of the population. They want to change the whole definition of marriage to suit THEM, and the voters of America have clearly stated that they do not wish to redefine marriage to suit gay people. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Men and women get married and have children…marriage is a critical familial institution. Maybe that’s why they keep pushing the gay agenda- to break down the family structure. Even with all of the brainwashing on television, they STILL couldn’t get America to accept gay marriage.
And further more, I have a RIGHT to not accept gay marriage. It doesn’t mean I HATE gay people, and it doesn’t make me a bigot. I believe in America, gay people should have the right to do whatever they like to do, but they do NOT have the right to enforce their own views on the rest of the population, or try to force everyone else to change their moral beliefs to suit them.

Personally I don’t think they should have pulled the cross out of her hand. But at least they didn’t hurt her. If the queers don’t want the gospel thats on them. They are not born that way, it is a chosen sin. It has been proven that by people who wanted to get out of that lifestyle who have gone for help that it was a choice. Just like drugs, alcohol, protitution, lying, being prideful, rebelion, or anything else that is wrong; its sin. The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 It has been medically proven that homosexual men don’t live much past fourty. What are the wages of sin? DEATH!! Well, there are certain sins that kill you faster than others. Some mother is out there grieving because of the choices her son has made and that she had to bury him before his time. There is a way out you guys. Jesus is the way. He came down from glory to die for those who are his enimies. They spit on him, plucked out his beard, and crucified him. He died for your sins. You either accept the payment he made for your sins on calvary or you reject it and try to go your own way. Broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in there at. If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior you won’t make it to Heaven, but that’s your choice. Death or Life, the choice is yours.
