Did anybody else notice the good Dr said “hospital mandate” and “regulation” the reporter integrates “the hospital must obey the law”. Are laws the same as regulations? I’m asking the question as what are the legal ramifications of firing somebody not following regulations as opposed to not following a mandate. Just curious.

I’m not defending the state, just defining the terms in your question within the context of healthcare.
In New York State (and many others), the Department of Health is the state licensing and regulatory body for all healthcare workers, from the ‘lowly’ CNA to MDs. They have regulations that are supported by legislation within that state, and have the authority to use those regulations as they deem appropriate.
So basically, those regulations get their authority from state laws and are enforced by the DOH. As far as the legal ramifications, a facility or employer that provides healthcare can terminate or transfer employees to other departments if regulations that are pertinent to their job description and title are not followed. The reason being (especially for private employers) is that they do not want their operating certifications to get pulled, or get fined for non-compliance.
As for my opinion on this matter, I am completely against this and hope that these nurses stand strong to the very end.

If a new regulation stated that all employees must have their right foot amputated to keep working, because of some contrived medical threat, and they refused, would it be OK to fire them? I think we must keep in mind always that if any regulation infringes on Constitutional rights, people have every right to challenge it’s legality and to resist it, because it is effectively null and void and can not legally be enforced, don’t you think?

If you can’t afford to keep paying your bills, you need to start selling as much s--- as you can. If you still are short on funds, you need to look at cheap housing, maybe even a tent…who knows what your situation is! Find a safe location and start taking supplies to it. Don’t travel by car…you need to walk where ever you go. I live in a very peaceful country area in the east and we have had three different road blocks for no reason. More than 20 cops or so at each one. Stopping traffic in both direction on a two lane hwy. Guys, they are planning, I would bet if many of you thought about it, you have seen similar road blocks or heard of them.

Let’s see, more people die of the regular flu than the swine flu. I’ve also heard that the people who get the swine flu have much lighter symptoms than that of regular flu. The only people that have died, come from third world countries. Sorry, but I’d rather get swine flu than get the vaccine.

I suppose the thing to do if they got balls, is to strike and shut that hospital down, until they give in. Other options are to get a sympathetic doctor and get a medical exemption or get him to lie and claim he gave them the shot. Or try the religious objection. Or refuse and get fired and sue them in court. Or better yet, bring out the militia and back them down with that. LOL!!

Health care workers are in short supply and in great demand all over the country. The state will not enforce this if all the workers will just stick together.
Hospitals make no money if they are closed and that is what they would be forced to do.
They would have to stay closed untill they could recruit and hire a lot of foreign docs. and nurses. That would take too long. The workers can prevail only if they stick together but American workers typically don’t stick together,they are too busy sticking each other in the back. That is the strongest thing that the “NWO” is counting on with all of their schemes.
Maybe it is time to organise some strong unions again so as to protect all aspects of American life. The unions could essentially be the civilian malitia operating as legal unions. Just a thought.

I will re-iterate for you again, the potential longterm complications from taking that vaccine are far far worse than a few days of diarhea, vomitting and yuckiness. I have yet to see anything beyond government propaganda being spewed by government controlled media that even remotely scares me about swine-flu. Humans have been dealing with flu viruses for over 3 million years and were still here! Besides, they rushed production on this slow kill junk and it aint even been tested on animals and thats a FELONY. What everyone needs to do in healthcare is if they try to force you to take it is refuse and make them fire you, and then go get unemployment and when they ask you why you lost your job is say you refused the vaccine for RELIGEOUS purposes. I guarantee you if everyone in america walks out on their jobs and whatnot if they try to force you to take it we can all force this bulls--- to come to a grinding halt. They can only push you as far as youre willing to let them. I give it 3-4 days tops before theyre begging you to come back to work and willing to even give you a raise to get you back because the big corporates are gonna be pissed they aint making profit, they’ll be losing it instead. I’m glad they tried forcing the Department of Public Health workers to get the shots first, because if they hadn’t, I’ll bet a lot of those now protesting would have calmly carried out government plans to coercively vaccinate members of the public. When was the last time you saw government employees standing up for the interests of ordinary civilians rather than just protecting their own jobs, supersized salaries, and benefits? Then again, a relatively small percentage of people really go out of their way to stand up for freedom except when big government impinges on their own lives.

I willnot take the flu vaccine nor have I ever taken or given the flu vaccine to myself nor patients. Anyone submitting themselves for the flu innoculation should at least research vaccine information & then make their own informed decision. It should be an individuals decision at that point, and NEVER through force.
