Video: Obama Youth in Paramilitary Garb Chant Propaganda

As an example of the sort fanaticism the Obama “Change” campaign is whipping up, consider the video here of an Obama “regiment” videotaped last year in Kansas City, Missouri. (Note: the same state where prosecutors and cops went after people who dared say anything negative about the Anointed One. Enthusiastically supporting your banker supported insider for president is one thing, but marching around in cammies in paramilitary fashion chanting like boot camp Marines is another thing altogether.
From the description of this video on YouTube:
I called and spoke to Bernard [at the Colburn School in Kansas City], who said he was the assistant Dean. He was very gentlemanly and when I voiced my concerns about the video, he told me that this was taken at the school last year when Obama was beginning his campaign. He assured me that they stopped this “regiment” because they felt the person who was organizing it was pushing his political agenda.
Duh.
He assured me that he didn’t know it was on YouTube. I gave him the link to where to go for this video and when he found it he said, “Oh this is not good. I had no idea” I told him I’d take his word for it. He then asked me, nicely, “what’s the main concern? Because I want to understand where you’re coming from so that I can figure out how to handle this.”
Nicely, I told him that the video looked militant. I told him about the Colburn School video and how it resembles propaganda films from Communist dictatorships. I told him that the US military is frowned upon for going to high schools trying to recruit potential grads into joining their ranks. Why shouldn’t we frown upon those who come to a school like yours to encourage kids to worship a politician? One who is not even a president.
I also said that if this was done to make kids feel better about themselves, why do it in the name of Obama? Why not encourage kids to believe in the power of themselves?
He assured me that he would get to the bottom of the situation, thanked me for my call and we hung up.
We in America and Around the World should not idolize our politicians.

Idolization is one thing, parading kids around in Nazi Youth fashion in paramilitary gear is quite another. As Webster Tarpley has noted, Obama’s mass following has all the elements of a bottom-up fascist movement. Hitler’s brownshirts were also fond of pseudo-military titles.
Is it possible this paramilitary display is an isolated incident or can we expect more of the same after Obama is elected? Recall Obama’s speech on July 2 in Colorado Springs. “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded,” the candidate declared. “If we’re going to create some kind of national police force as big, powerful and well-funded as our combined U.S. military forces, isn’t this rather a big deal?” asked WorldNetDaily.
Indeed, it is a big deal, especially if this proposed “national security force” will be comprised of brainwashed kids who are told by their militant elders that any disagreement with Obama is a punishable offense, as it apparently was in Missouri.
In Germany and Italy this sort of opposition to the cult of personality leader resulted in the opposition either dead or rounded up and put in concentration camps.

I’ve never heard you knock the merits of training. As a black American concerned about the hope that black male youth have for their futures, I see nothing wrong with this kind of training. The symbolic import of Obama as a positive inspirational force cannot be underestimated. Jesus, they’re aspiring to be architects and chemical engineers, not troopers of defenders of “democracy”

A fact that everybody seems to neglecting is that Obama isn’t really “black”, he’s mixed. His father is mostly middle eastern, with some African. His mother is caucasian. I personally see skin color as a moot point, but I think that it’s important for blacks to realize this… especially considering the fact that 99.999% of blacks support Obama b/c they think he is black.

YC, Obama is just another con-man for the power elite, and as such, he deserves no adoration from young men, black, purple or green. That is the issue here.
Relate this to the glorified commercials espousing “be all you can be” and “the few, the proud…the marines” This too could be (and is by many) viewed as a positive message, unfortunately, with deadly results.
It’s time to utilize your intellect instead of your prejudices…..yes that’s right…YOUR prejudices. “As a black American concerned about the hope that black male youth have for their futures……” Perhaps a better way to look at this would be “as an American concerned about all of our collective futures, it’s important to educate our young men and women to be weary of deceitful, corrupt politicians regardless of their disguise.

Obama is pro-choice and Anti-America. If he wins, every local law that criminalizes abortion will be nullified. That’s one of his greatest priorities. Note I am NOT saying pro-choicers are not Americans.

This article (and some of the responses to it) are pretty moronic.
What you are looking at is the typical chanting that goes on with black fraternities. I even did siilar things as a CUB SCOUT.
Some well-meaning individual thought this would be a good idea to promote Obama and give black youth confidence at the same time. He had no idea how it would look to outsiders.
Focusing on this instead of the real issues Obama/Biden has to deal with reeks of smear tactics and I’m sick of it. We’ve got a long way to go to repair the damage that has been done to our country.
Let’s try to focus on what Obama HIMSELF plans and not who he met at a board meeting or what kind of dancing some well meaning supporters might perform.

I have to be careful on how I word this because I completely understand where your coming from being a black American hoping the best for other black American’s, but that was the only point you came with. But the issue here is about these kids in the video are pushing political agenda in para-military uniforms. Not black children looking up to a black presidential hopefull, which is usually seen in a classroom, not in uniform. Weather its a black or white presidential candidate hopefull shouldn’t be a concentrated matter in this argument. If it had a place, then you shouldn’t have a problem seeing a video of 8 or 9 white kid’s in para-military uniforms preaching the likes of Pres. George W. Bush and HIS political agenda {which during campain was anti-war}. If you were not bothered by that hypothetical video, I find that hard to believe due the fact that As a white American concerned about the hope that white male youth have for their futures, I would!

Thats why they joined,its called the gi bill. You don’t see in the commercials recruiting for the military looking for bad ass soldiers, their looking for students. Young American boys and girls who’s family’s cant keep up with rising inflation and cant afford to send their kid to college. so they put aside the fact that there is a war mongering industrial complex running our forein policys,so they join the armed forces anyway. There is word from insiders and those who channel future events that a major “MAJOR” event is going to take place tomorrow 10/7/08.
They gave the cities Los Angeles and Chicago. If you live in those two cities now would be a good time to take a couple weeks off and get out of town.
The guy who does the channeling is named Deagle and he said he doesn’t know what will happen on the 7th (tomorrow) but that it is the next step towards total control and martial law. He said that what is set in motion tomorrow will be much bigger and much worse than 9/11.
He specifically said he saw mushroom clouds, smelled burning flesh and saw people weeping walking around in confusion.
Again, I am not in to New Age channeling stuff, but these guys have been saying Oct. 7th for a while. They also predicted the Bank/Loan crash to the day and the so called attack on Georgia.
Please if you live in these cities, be prepared and keep an open eye out.

Hello Dude.
I really appreciated your essay at position #1. If only the usual blogger here had such passion and intelligence to write so thoughtfully.
I’ve made a copy of your statement for reference later, and need some time to reflect on what you wrote. It is also a good guide for later study as far as tactics.
However, I see you to be on the wrong side of an extremely important issue. The Republic is overthrown by Communism. That’s why there is such injustice today. The Democratic party was subverted in the ’60s and that is also the reason that there is only one party in our government. The United States was always the target, since it had an armed population and a constitution that allowed people to build their own way to liberty.
But the Communists preach tolerance of all evil, so they may destroy the fabric of society. Feminism => divorce, and so on. Thinking that Communism is dead is a mistake. It is so strong in people’s minds that it just doesn’t need to be secret anymore.
This is a long discussion, and I don’t have the time, but thanks again for the essay. Using this website to disseminate information is the best idea.

They have national drill teams meets every year were you will see very similar performances.

Not to be racist but White People are EXTREMELY out of touch with Black People. First of all, this is called STEPPING. It is a very common sight amongst Blacks. We do stepping in high schools for sports teams, we do stepping in college for frats/sororities, etc.
This is simply a Youth Step team, who is doing a step show centered around the concept of a first Black president. THATS ALL, its nothing deep.

you know i can agree with a lot that everyone is saying and at least im not going to sit around and talk about it until it gets worst we need to start making a plan start making small groups that think just like us, but make sure you only let people in that you can trust. if people dont want to listen then simply dont talk about it. and if people want to listen to u then let them in and start brainstorming and come up with ideas to stop this mess. get people from around the nation to start their own small groups and brainstorm together. the light will always prevail. if anyone likes this idea email me at mikesam1990@msn.com

I find it ironic that on a website fundamentally against propaganda that nearly every news “article” presented here is an opinion. In this one, we are supposed to believe that because one group of foolish kids in some backwater state dressed up in military fatigues and shot a video, that Obama is a fascist, implicitly akin to German Nazism, and his supporters mindless, fascist followers.
Not only that, but we are led to believe that Obama’s call for his volunteers to engage in mass-letter writing against what are often lies about his campaign is an “assault on free speech,” while in fact is an exercise of that right.
By the same logic, a group protest (i.e., a mass expression of uniform opinion) would also become an effort to “assault” freedom of speech. Does anyone else see the irony here? Expressing = good, but too many people expressing = fascist! Isn’t that idea itself “fascist”–or perhaps, more accurately, totalitarian? It seems like these editorials are far more interested in pushing their worldview than presenting reality, as they so claim.
This is the same brand of paranoia engineered by the government.

Just to prevent misunderstandings. My comment on 68 is NOT of a racist intention. Evil comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. It is a fact that the Nazis wore brown shirts. It is also a fact that they looked down on brown-skinned people. Nonetheless this did not bother them from using brown-skinned people from arabia, north africa and india as cannon fodder in the waffen ss.
