Video Shows Cop Tasering Already Restrained Disabled Man

Recently uncovered video of a disabled British Columbia man being shocked with a taser by a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer has sparked controversy and once again brought the use of such weapons into the limelight.
The video, which was shot in 2004 but only recently released to legal representitives, shows John Dempsey, who suffered from a debilitating muscle disorder similar to Parkinson’s disease, being forced to the ground by two RCMP officers inside a Kamloops, B.C. RCMP detachment.
The video shows Dempsey being led into the booking room after being arrested for trying to intervene in the arrest of a friend whom he believed the police were being too heavy handed with.
Already handcuffed and subsequently shoved face down to the ground, an officer then fires a taser into Dempsey’s back at point blank range.
"I wasn’t resisting arrest, I calmly walked, he grabbed me, and said this will teach you not to [profanity] with us, that’s what he said," Dempsey later commented.
Dempsey had initiated a lawsuit accusing the RCMP of excessive force, but was sadly killed in a traffic accident recently.
Had he been able to see his case through, Dempsey may have been as successful as Jared Massey, who has accepted a $40,000 settlement in a lawsuit filed against the state and a Utah Highway Patrol trooper, after he was stopped and tased for refusing to sign a speeding citation.
The news comes on the back of internal reports by Vancouver police, which have revealed that the force regularly use Tasers to subdue people who are unarmed and non-violent.
The reports, released via a freedom of information request, state that in a number of cases police used the Taser as soon as someone displayed a "fighting stance" or simply to get a non-violent suspect to do what they were told.

Other cases we have highlighted also corroborate the fact that the weapon, which is designed to be a last resort before lethal force, is now being used as a compliance tool. Every week we post stories of incidents, which often feature old women, children and disabled people as the victims. The weapons are even being used in schools.
The police are now trained that "pain compliance," a euphemism for torture, is acceptable in apprehending anyone even if that person poses no physical danger. If you electrify any person, they suffer extreme pain and stand a high chance of being killed.
Many Civil Liberties Associations and police departments across North America have called for a moratorium on the weapons after hundreds of Taser-related deaths have garnered headlines from coast to coast. However, infinitely more police continue to use the weapons without question.
Despite claims by Taser proponents the weapons are safe, scientists and doctors have raised concerns about possible links between Tasers and potential heart and respiration problems, mental health and an individual’s state of exhaustion or agitation in confrontations with authorities.
Amnesty International has also cited hundreds deaths around the world after Taser use and has called for a full taser suspension while a thorough investigation into the impact of the weapon is conducted.
Recently, a UN Committee said the stun gun "causes acute pain, constituting a form of torture".

I like the old western movies where every man (and some women) carried a gun (or two), there was no fluoride in the water, and the law was closer to what it should be.
If everyone carried loaded weapons, I bet crime and police abuse would be almost naught.

I am in agreement with Scott Web.. It appears his death came in the NICK OF TIME for the police.
I suggest it is time that anyone who decides to sue the police, government or any of their GOON companies now make sure to to leave a trust for the suit in case of their “UNTIMELY deaths”. They should also make sure to give a video testimony which can be played at the trial. They may not be able to collect for future problems at tht point but they should be able to at least allow their families to receive his/her monies for the actual crime/event that took place.
The case may be a little harder because they are not there but if these monsters knew that killing them would not stop the case, it could prevent them from killing them in order to stop the case.

I used to think years ago, that cops were big mighty strong men, but now their just a bunch of wimps that need to hide behind a taser. I know for a fact if I were a cop, I probably wouldn’t even carry a gun. That’s where human skills come into play. But in my travels, I have noted around the country that many police departments are not enforcing a weight or height requirement. Some of these cops are so puny that if I swung at them they would be dead with the first hit. I suppose that we have a lot of cops today running around with little man or little woman syndrome.
I consider 9mm a small pistil, but I saw a female officer two weeks ago in Columbia South Carolina, she couldn’t have been 5′3″ weighed about 115 pounds I cant for the life of me figured out who the hell would hire her. To compensate for their puny cops they have to carry tasers and in the process kill thousands of Americans why don’t they just hire people that are qualified to do the job.
One more reason cops are beginning to look really evil in the eyes of the people they are supposed to keep peace with.

The vast majority of law enforcement, are criminally insane, psychotic individuals who wouldn’t think twice about commiting murder. Unfortunately, there are a small percentage of truly good honest cops out there. But, they won’t speak up or try and change the tyrannical/military direction law enforcement is goin in, for fear of some sort of retaliation. A lot of these minions LOVE to brutalize their fellow citizens, they ENJOY making people suffer. It will only get worse my friends – much, much worse. In fact, it will get so incredibley bad, we will think we are living in communist China or Russia. “Disapearing”, torture and murder will be common place. There won’t be a damned thing we will be able to do about it, except fight back…

I live in Kamloops, the city where this happened. And I’ll be the first to say that there are some a$$hole cops here. It’s nothing to brag about, but my brother and I have both been pulled over, and had to deal with cops in this city many times.
One time I was pulled over right after some friends and I had smoked some pot (which is basically legal to smoke here, but if it’s in a vehicle the cops can really screw you) and the car must have smelled like a Grateful Dead concert. I thought for sure I was f-ed (three 20-year-old guys), but he didn’t even ask us about it, and left us fairly quickly with only a warning about my driving. But my brother has been roughed-up more than once, and he only asked those cops questions. One cop even threatened to Taser him.
What I’m saying is that there are a$$hole cops and decent cops everywhere. I spent nearly a month in the USA last year, and we were pulled over twice, once they tried their hardest to F us, and one time the cop just gave us a warning. I lived in Vancouver for most of my life (where a guy was recently Tasered to death), and it really is the same everywhere. The cops in British Columbia aren’t any more vicious or evil than cops in any city. People have been Tasered by evil, power-abusing cops in Canada, and people have been Tasered in the US by the same a$$hole cops.
THE PROBLEM ISN’T THE INDIVIDUAL COPS WHO WORK IN AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT ENVIRONMENT, THE PROBLEM IS THE SYSTEM! THEY ARE AS MINDLESS AS PEOPLE IN THE MILITARY, FOLLOWING ORDERS AND THINKING THAT THEY ARE AUTHORITY, SO THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT. COPS ARE GIVEN TASERS, INADEQUATE TRAINING, AND INSUFFICIENT DISCIPLINE. THE TRAINING THEY DO GET TELLS THEM THAT USING THE TASER IN SELF-DEFENCE IS OK, SO SOME COPS USE IT WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE GOING ON A POWER-TRIP, AND THEN THEY CLAIM THAT THEY NEEDED IT BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THEIR LIVES WERE IN DANGER. THIS SYSTEM, THIS SOCIETY WE LIVE IN PASSIVELY ACCEPTS THIS, AND THE BRAINWASHING TELLS US THAT THE POLICE ARE OUR PROTECTORS. AND WHEN A COP F-S UP, HE GETS A SPANKING OR NO PUNISHMENT AT ALL. IF A TEACHER MOLESTS A STUDENT, YOU CAN BET THEY WON’T BE TEACHING ANYWHERE ANYTIME SOON. WHY CAN’T WE HOLD COPS TO THOSE KINDS OF STANDARDS, THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO SERVE AND PROTECT, RIGHT? WHEN THEY PROVE THEMSELVES TO BE AGGRESSIVE BULLIES WHO CAN’T HELP BUT HARM PEOPLE WITH A WEAPON FOR NO REASON AT ALL THEY SHOULD BE FIRED, AND TAKEN TO COURT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THEY SHOULD FEEL LUCKY IF THEY AREN’T SENT TO JAIL (AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO COPS IN JAIL
), AND THEY SHOULD FEEL PRIVILEGED TO WORK AT MCDONALD’S.
And most of the people on this site already know this, hopefully we’ve all seen Alex Jones’ movies on the Police State and Martial Law. The thing is, we won’t convince the sheople that this is what’s happening by attacking the cops, literally or figuratively. We need to show people the facts, and explain intelligently what is going on. Show them Alex’s movies, and anything that will open their eyes. Explain that the man in this video was tortured, just like many other Taser victims. Explain the shift from Protection to Police State. Explain where our society is headed so that when more events like this happen (as they continue to) a real pattern of evil will emerge. Force discussion, force debate, and force people to open their eyes and realize that Tasers are unnecessary. Cops need more and better training, and if another false-flag attack happens hide your guns and don’t trust the cops to serve and protect. Because the cops serve the politicians, who serve the elite, who serve evil (Satan).

Mini 14 – you’re absolutely right about the quality of police being hired. This is because of the bloated and constantly expanding prison industry. I have a feeling that many of these new cops are being hired simply to get more people in the jails, regardless of the crimes they have or haven’t committed, because the private companies that profit from human warehousing and prison slave labor simply aren’t wealthy enough. They must have more, they must bolster their “workforce” since 95% of the inmates in prison right now will be released someday.

If you have any cognition left at all, you see that these are not conspiracy theories, but conspiracy facts. Even if you don’t believe everything on here, you at least must admit that there are forces within the US government that want us dead or completely enslaved. I can tell you that John Dempsey is my relative and he lived a hard life. He was born with a mental disability and grew up being picked on and teased. His older brother spent a lot of time beating the crap out people that would ridicule,beat John up and tease John. John was a docile guy he would never hurt anybody. He had a computer chip implanted in his brain that was destroyed when the cop tortured I mean tasered John. He did community work for the homeless and other non profit organizations. All John was trying to do was again help someone.
