Walter Mondale and Mark Dayton Support New 9/11 Investigation

Mark Dayton and Walter Mondale both gave their support to a new investigation of 9/11 after today’s Hillary Clinton rally at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
When asked the question, “Do you support a new investigation of 9/11?,” former vice president Walter Mondale replied, “Yeah. Why did it happen? We need that ‘phase two’. They never did it.”—identifying the insufficiency of the official findings and calling for a subsequent phase of investigation.
When asked the same question, Mark Dayton replied, “You know, I’m not a senator anymore, but I would support one.” When asked if he had heard the evidence of a cover-up, he replied, “Uh, nothing I would hear would surprise me.”
His response should be expected in light of his public scrutiny of the nature of the official account of the events of 9/11 while serving as senator. On July, 31st 2004 during Senate hearings on the 9/11 Commission Report, Senator Dayton made a noble effort to point out the discrepancies between the time-line of events on 9/11 supplied by NORAD and the (now thoroughly discredited) 9/11 Commission Report. Dayton said before the Commission:
“NORAD’s public chronology on 9/18/01 and the commission testimony twenty months later covered up those truths. They lied to the American people, they lied to Congress and they lied to your 9/11 commission to create a false impression of competence,
communication, coordination and protection of the American people. And we can set up all the oversight possible at great additional cost to the American taxpayers and it won’t be worth an Enron pension if the people responsible lie to us; if they take the records and doctor them into falsehoods, and if they get away with it.”
How long will the American people have to wait to hear calls for a new investigation from current rather than former elected officials?

Mondale was president of the CFR for a while, I’m pretty sure. He was also head of one of the most infamous quasi-governmental groups, the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, through which the United States infiltrates and manipulates foreign governments in the name of promoting democracy. Most of the regime changes around the world, such as so-called “people’s revolution, the orange revolution, on and on, were effected, not by independent popular movements but by the NDI acting covertly to promote one particular side of the political equation in the form of pseudo-popular movements. Ron Paul tried to shine some light on this organization in 2004, and his efforts actually made the New York Times.

No offense to Nate CLark in MN,but you are clearly taking Mr. Mondale’s comments out of context. He is clearly stating he supports part 2 of the investigation, implying that part 1 was useful, albeit incomplete. He was the first Vice President of the United States to turn the lame job of vp into world-renowned political advocate. He was the first VP to have an office IN the white house and the first to live in the official VP residence NEAR the white house. Even at age 80, the guy is still a shill.
Those of us who support a new investigation, want a NEW investigation to start over from the beginning and be totally independent…not simply more of the same part 2.

We must mount a HUGE DEMAND for a new 911 Investigation! We need 5 MILLION people to write, call or contact Congress in one week and DEMAND this during March 9-16th!

I agree with your assessment of Mondale’s probable perspective on the investigation, but I haven’t taken his words out of context. He did answer my question about supporting a “new” investigation in the affirmative.
You and I both want a totally new and independent investigation, of course, but before we will ever see that happen we need to correct the public’s perception that everything was properly investigated and the whole matter settled by the 9/11 Commission Report. So, to your point, while he probably does support a mere and pointless extension of the previous investigation, my opinion is that support for more investigation of any sort is meaningful because it at least acknowledges the insufficiency of the Commission’s report.

Mondale was also Clinton’s main hit man. Clinton sent him over to Indonesia to break Suharto’s thumbs when Suharto wanted to do his “IMF Plus” economic program. That was just too much of a departure to satisfy the Clinton mafia. So Clinton sent Mondale over, Suharto seemed to capitulate, but it was too late, because mysteriously sparked riots throughout Indonesia killed many innocent people, especially Chinese, and destabliized the government. Clinton put Gore in the same role vis a vis Malaysia, but the people there didn’t fall for it. Mondale is not someone that I would particularly want on my side, unless he admitted his past and renounced it. One more thing. When he lost the presidency, he indicated that the people had made a mistake, rather than bowing to the will of the people. It is quite apparent that his constituency is not the people.

We’ve already have been flooding congress withvarious demands for action in restoring our liberties, indicting Cheney, financial restraint via Dounsize DC and many groups that have jioned them. It doesn’t matter! all the elections are now a complete fraud and Alex is wrong; they can flip the votes 90/10 the other way and say its freedom, whatcha gonna do about it – just like in Mexico which had the same scum from Atlanta running their elections to ensure that Calderone was in power. Like they say, “whatcha gonna do about it?” As they shove a gun muzzle in your face? My feeling is that the police and military are (or were) the only ones who could do anything about it by, apparently they won’t and the higher ups like the police state. They’re all traitors. If Ron paul only got 4% in military stuffed S.Carolina then that’s it, fight’s over, traitors win. If our military were anything but total dogs--- they would shoot their officers and take off out of the conbat zone via any means necessary. Next time I’ll change my question to “a new and independent investigation”. Had I known he is running for governor in ‘10, I would have asked Dayton about the REAL ID Act. He caught me by surprise outside the event, and I only had a chance to ask anything because he was coming back in my direction to buy a “Ban a Republican” tee-shirt. That whole event left me feeling like I had gone unprepared, but maybe I was just off balance from being elbowed repeatedly in the ribs by a signature awaiting Hillary supporter as her dynastic hero approached.

I am looking at my handguns I just purchased right now as I type these letters. I support repealing of the Patriot Acts I & II and the many other “Acts” and Executive orders passed in the wake of 9/11. I support a no holds barred Investigation into the events of 9/11 and the many unconstitutional acts perpetrated by our federal and state governments ever since then. I am sure these comments are screened by treasonous bastards who think they are helping to prevent terrorists attacks in the future but nothing could be further from the f---ing truth. Indeed, I believe the evil is a sickness that infects government officials from being healthy patriots who truly do stand up for the Constitution and who are brave enough to say NO SIR to any order that not only undermines the sovereignty of each individual citizen and threatens peace for EVERYONE, themselves included as well for being party to such treason.
I am a peaceful and loving man but when martial law is declared (when we know full well that most of our leaders are the REAL terrorists), I sigh and relinquish all fear of death and say let them come. I will die defending my sweet liberty. I will go into eternity knowing my resistance is justified, and will I finally be at peace.
