Weaponizing Deadly Viruses: Historical Precedents

Many people react with incredulity when the assertion is made that the so-called swine flu outbreak in Mexico may be manufactured crisis. And yet history is replete with examples of government using biological and chemical agents for political purpose.

As a primary example, consider the CIA’s secret war against Cuba and Fidel Castro.




	The CIA used chemical agents and toxins then stockpiled at Fort Detrick against Cuba and Fidel Castro.

In 1975, the Church Committee revealed a CIA memorandum listing deadly chemical agents and toxins then stockpiled at Fort Detrick. “These included anthrax, encephalitis, tuberculosis, lethal snake venom, shellfish toxin, and half a dozen lethal food poisons, some of which, the committee learned, had been shipped in the early 1960s to Congo and to Cuba in unsuccessful CIA attempts to assassinate Patrice Lumumba and Fidel Castro,” write Ellen Ray and William H. Schaap (Bioterror: Manufacturing Wars the American Way, Ocean Press, 2003, p. vii).

Schaap cites the work of Dr. Marc Lappé (Chemical and Biological Warfare: The Science of Public Death, Student Research Facility for East Bay Women for Peace and Science Students for Social Responsibility, 1969), who claims that the U.S. Army had a biological warfare agent prepared for use against Cuba at the time of the Missile Crisis in 1962, mostly likely Q fever (Coxiella burnetii, a bacterium that affects both humans and animals). In 1977, a Washington Post report confirmed that during this time the CIA maintained an “anticrop warfare” program.

In regard to swine flu, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on January 10, 1977, that CIA “operatives linked to anti-Castro terrorists introduced African swine fever virus into Cuba in 1971.” The outbreak, the first time the disease hit the Western Hemisphere, was labeled the “most alarming event” of 1971 by the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization. Cuba reacted to outbreak by slaughtering 500,000 pigs. An intelligence source told the newspaper “that early in 1971 he was given the virus in a sealed, unmarked container at Ft. Gulick, an Army base in the Panama Canal Zone. The CIA also operates a paramilitary training center for career personnel and mercenaries at Ft. Gulick.” The source said he was given instructions to turn the container with the virus over to members of an anti-Castro group.

In 1980, described as “the year of the plagues” by Schaap, “Cuba was beset with disasters. Another African swine fever epidemic hit; the tobacco crop was decimated by blue mold; and the sugarcane crops were hit with a particularly damaging rust disease.”

By 1981, the Cuban population was targeted with hemorrhagic dengue fever, a devastating disease transmitted by mosquitoes. “From May to October 1981 there were well over 300,000 reported cases, with 158 fatalities, 101 involving children under 15. At the peak of the epidemic, in early July, more than 10,000 cases per day were being reported. More than a third of the reported victims required hospitalization. By mid-October, after a massive campaign to eradicate Aedes aegypti [mosquito], the epidemic was over,” writes Schaap. “The history of the secret war against Cuba and the virulence of this dengue epidemic were enough to generate serious suspicions that the United States had a hand in the dengue epidemic of 1981. But there is much more support for those suspicions than a healthy distrust of U.S. intentions regarding Cuba.”

After interviewing officials from the Pan American Health Organization and of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Schaap states that he believes the “epidemic was artificially induced.”

The epidemic began with the simultaneous discovery in May 1981 of three cases of hemorrhagic dengue caused by a type 2 virus. The cases arose in three widely separated parts of Cuba: Cienfuegos, Camagiiey, and Havana. It is extremely unusual that such an epidemic would commence in three different localities at once. None of the initial victims had ever traveled out of the country; for that matter, none of them had recently been away from home. None had had recent contact with international travelers. Moreover, a study of persons arriving in Cuba in the month of May from known dengue areas found only a dozen such passengers (from Vietnam and Laos), all of whom were checked by the Institute of Tropical Medicine and found free of the disease. Somehow, infected mosquitoes had appeared in three provinces of Cuba at the same time. Somehow, the fever spread at an astonishing rate. There appears to be no other explanation but the artificial introduction of infected mosquitoes.

Researchers believe the Mexican swine flu outbreak may also be “artificially induced.” First, the Mexican outbreak occurred outside of the normal flu season (influenza usually obeys a regularly re-occurring time period – in temperate climate zones, the flu season will typically begin in the late fall and peak in mid- to late winter, while in tropical zones flu seasons appear to be less pronounced, with year-round isolation of the virus). Second, the genetic makeup of the fast-spreading H1N1 strain of influenza — including genetic elements from bird flu, swine flu and human flu covering three continents — appears to be man-made.

“What seems suspicious to me is the hybrid origin of the viral fragments found in H1N1 influenza,” writes Mike Adams. These viral fragments include human influenza, bird flu from North America, and swine flu from Europe and Asia.

This is rather astonishing to realize, because for this to have been a natural combination of viral fragments, it means an infected bird from North America would have had to infect pigs in Europe, then be re-infected by those some pigs with an unlikely cross-species mutation that allowed the bird to carry it again, then that bird would have had to fly to Asia and infected pigs there, and those Asian pigs then mutated the virus once again (while preserving the European swine and bird flu elements) to become human transmittable, and then a human would have had to catch that virus from the Asian pigs — in Mexico! — and spread it to others.

At present, there is little evidence the virus was created in a U.S. lab and deliberately unleashed on an unsuspecting Mexican public. However, there is plenty of evidence the U.S. military and the CIA have used biological agents in the past, including “tests” on the American people.

“More than 200 experiments were carried out in U.S. rural areas to test the spread of non-lethal germs,” writes Joe Allen. “These tests were also carried out in San Francisco in 1950 and in New York in 1966. While the cover for these tests was to study a ‘defense’ against biochemical warfare, U.S. war planners wanted this knowledge for offensive use against an enemy population,” for instance livestock and people in Cuba, as mentioned above.

At the height of Cold War insanity, the U.S. government gave a free hand for its scientists to experiment on anything that could possibly further its military prowess. The CIA experimented with LSD for “mind control.” At Fort Detrick, scientists studied the possibility of spreading yellow fever and plague with insects. Anti-crop bombs were built for the United States Air Force to be used in the Third World.

It appears this insanity did not stop with the Cold War. Last week, the Frederick News Post reported Army criminal investigators are looking into the possibility that disease samples are missing from biolabs at Fort Detrick.

Finally, investigative journalist Wayne Madsen has reported that “a top scientist for the United Nations, who has examined the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in Africa, as well as HIV/AIDS victims, [and] concluded that H1N1 possesses certain transmission ‘vectors’ that suggest that the new flu strain has been genetically-manufactured as a military biological warfare weapon. The UN expert believes that Ebola, HIV/AIDS, and the current A-H1N1 swine flu virus are biological warfare agents.”

Again, at this time, there is no definitive evidence indicating the Mexican virus is a bioweapon. However, there is plenty of factual evidence pointing to the fact the U.S. government (and other governments) have developed biological weapons and have used them against target populations.

Alex Jones is right on some things. 911…total inside job. But when you start believing that EVERYTHING is a conspiracy, you have problems. Reality check-we do live in an overpopulated world. Pop has more than doubled in the last century. It takes alot of poultry and pigs living in tightly packed, unsanitary conditions to feed all of these people. The conditions that exist in factory farms are perfect for the development of nasty viruses. There are American owned factory farms in southern Mexico operating in especially nasty ways that wouldn’t be tolerated here in the states. More people are dying in Mexico because their immune systems are lower due to lack of good nutrition. People aren’t dying here because we have good health care and nutrition. If the banking elite sought out to depopulate the world-they picked a wimpy virus to do it.

More people are dying in Mexico because their immune systems are lower due to lack of good nutrition. People aren’t dying here because we have good health care and nutrition.

Yes, we have better health-care here, but nutrition? If you count McDonalds, Burger King, and Taco Bell as, “good nutrition,” then I guess you’re right. We are one of the most obese nations on the planet, and a fatty body that is struggling with high-cholestorol will still be more succeptible to disease (including flu).

It’s manufactured terror. More than 100 people died in Mexico from murder in the last 24 hours, but they’re not raising a fit about that. Americans are hypochondriacs and they hear the news telling them to be careful about the swine flu and see the doctor right away, plus the doctor’s are on-edge for this disease (each wanting to have their name in the history books for saving the planet from a pandemic), so more cases are being reported. This in-turn causes more panic. It’s feeding itself into a terror frenzy, which is what they want.

Why do they want this, and who will benefit from it? The WHO, UN, NAFTA, and WTO will then gain control over the United States and any other country that declares this a, “pandemic.” That, along with a new currency, could be the final straw that makes a one-world government. Hate to tell you this, but Mexico has much more efficient and capable health care and diagnostics than the United States. Why do you think it was MEXICAN DOCTORS who caught the virus and typed it, and not AMERICAN doctors? Because they are much more competent and more likely to order relevant diagnostic testing than American Doctors. Our health care delivery system is a shithole of apathy and incompetence, a joke!

Also, Mexicans eat a much healthier diet than Americans do. They do not eat processed foods full of toxins and chemicals, but eat fresh foods grown locally. Mexicans are much healthier than Americans, for this reason.

The only difference between the Mexicans who are dying in Mexico City and the American flu victims who are NOT dying is one thing. Can you guess what it is? I have already figured it out.

What is Mexico City famous for? That’s right – extreme pollution, particulates…
Pollution causes lung damage.
Lung damage makes it more likely for these people with compromised lungs to develop ARDS when struck with a several viral infection.

I agree with MagicStarER…..I live on the border with Mexico…and on occasion I have gone over there because they are better than they are here because not everyone over there in Mexico is out to scam the masses. Small doctors offices do the work and make an honest salary, not like the thieves here in America. Cheaper health care and better results…no brainer.

Even with all the hype, the death rate is fairly low. It only seemed to be fatal in Mexico and there is nothing about the health of the deceased. Maybe it is designed to kill persons with supressed immune systems. Either way, the fear mongering in the MSM will lead to an outcry for vaccination and then we will get what they asked for. It’s like when Bayer acted surprised that someone exposed what was going on there during WWII. “Damn, we didn’t realize that Bayer performed human experiments back then!?” All it took was a key to open some doors that were sealed for decades. I was listening to Alex yesterday and he mentioned something to the effect of memos regarding “race specific” virus. Can anyone tell me if that was mentioned as a hypothetical, or if that actually exists? Perhaps the deaths in Mexico are related to a more depressed immune system. Either way, there are some really twisted people that think along those lines.

Yes, blankets were given to the Indians. But please remember the WHOLE story FIRST. It happened at Fort McHenry. Indians had surronded the fort and NO help were coming to save them. The were running low on supplies and KNEW if they surrendered the fort everyone would die. There were woman and children there also. Small Pox, broke out and the dead bodies WRAPPED in blankets were thrown over the wall to protect the rest of the people. The indians came up and took them. If you read up on small pox you will learn its HIGHLY contagious. There was a story in Germany of someone with small put in the hostipal and the virus is believed to have gone thru a concrete wall and affected someone walking thru the corridor. A party did go out and meet with the indians and blankets and other gifts were given. So the small pox transmission could have been there, the dead victim blankets, indians attacking and getting to close to the fort. If you were surrounded going to be killed would you do the same ??

Sorry, I just got carried away. I love America and the people there, but not the politicians, who actually have caused all the injustice in your history. And I feel bad for what happened to the indians. I seriously don’t want America to pay, but I hope you get rid of your NWO politicians, both for your sake and mine, cause USA is the trendsetter, what’s happening there, will spread to my country as well. The NWO is allready active here too, but not as bad as in America.
In fact I’m glad so many people actually engage in fighting the NWO, not everybody is blinded by the mainstream media. Over here, the mainstream media never covers events that shows that the American people is awakening and see through the scams the NWO is creating. I thank God for sites like this. I think they are just testing it in Mexico. After it goes airborne it goes 2nd hand 3rd hand and so on. At some point it starts to become less lethal. The guys getting the vaccines in Mexico are going down like flies. If the strain is in the vaccine then they get the full lethal force and the greatest chance of death. After that it becomes progressively less lethal.

According to BBC news, a Scottish couple returning from Mexico have it and are now in hospital. Others they have been in contact with in Scotland have only contracted mild flu symptoms. Now there’s no way of knowing if the original airborne infection of the tourists was 2nd ,3rd, 4th hand Etc but it does show that the airborne human to human transmission is getting progressively less lethal.

My advice is DON’T TAKE THE VACCINE. Also remember that they have combined pig and bird flu into the combo so there will be no food for at least a month afterwards. (There will be a local cull of all poultry and pigs combined with no food left in the shops). You need to store a lot of food in tins. Trucks full of food from other areas want be allowed to deliver in an infected area. Having a load of multi vitamins is big doses can help. You are at most risk of going down with an airborne infection when you are mal-nourished and vitamin deficient. Remember they may declare your area as “quarantined” and prevent you from leaving. If you can avoid the vaccine and have your own food and multivits you should be okay. Don’t accept a face mask from the government. Get your own.

This is rather astonishing to realize, because for this to have been a natural combination of viral fragments, it means an infected bird from North America would have had to infect pigs in Europe, then be re-infected by those some pigs with an unlikely cross-species mutation that allowed the bird to carry it again, then that bird would have had to fly to Asia and infected pigs there, and those Asian pigs then mutated the virus once again (while preserving the European swine and bird flu elements) to become human transmittable, and then a human would have had to catch that virus from the Asian pigs — in Mexico! — and spread it to others.

So it’s not the end of the world but it is something to pay attention to. I think it will blow over without too many people dying…but it will rear its ugly head sometime in the near future and devastate populations…if…”they” deem there is no other way to get what they want. Interesting ….anyone else notice that this virus seems to be attacking only countries with popluations of darker skinned folks? In the U.S. folks have gotten sick but not died. In mexico many have died probably many more then we are being told about. Isreal darker skinned, Spain also darker skinned. The problem is that the flu will make many folks sick but looks to me like it was designed kill only darker skinned indivuduals. In fact I have not heard of anyone outside of mexico dying from it. If i can take a blood test and through a genetic test it can be determined that I am a certain percentage of American Indian, it stands to reason that enough is known about genetics to produce a virus that will kill a certain segment of the population and only make others sick. The main problem witrh that is that viruses mutate and what goes around comes around. The article states that the Supreme Court ruled against the 14th Amendment argument in 1905, and that the ruling has stood without revisitation for the last 104 years. Personally I will not take the vaccination. I have only had 1 flu vaccination in my life and it was practically forced on me years ago. I felt awful after I got the shot. I refuse the shot when asked if I want one and I haven’t had the flu in 20 years! I am very leary of flu vaccinations. I see people who get them who still get the flu every year.

This article is so rediculous. They would never weaponize a flu virus. Flu Viruses mutate too easily and those that weaponized the virus themselves wouldnt be protected. Even if they had a vaccine that worked at the time of release then is no way they would risk releasing a virus that may eventually mutate and make their vaccine worthless. Therefore they would be essentially commiting suicide. Also to the Tamiflu/Cheney connection. At the rate flu viruses mutate, then would be no way to know that Tamiflu would even work. Flu Pandemics happen. It is a force of nature. What do you think the virus was in 1918. Do you think it was weaponized too. Here is a link to the history of other viruses.
