“This is war: countries have to defend themselves,” said David McWilliams, a former official at the Irish central bank.

“It is essential that we go to Europe and say we have a serious problem. We say, either we default or we pull out of Europe,” he told RTE radio.
“If Ireland continues hurtling down this road, which is close to default, the whole of Europe will be badly affected. The credibility of the euro will be badly affected. Then Spain might default, Italy and Greece,” he said.
Mr McWilliams, a former UBS director and now prominent broadcaster, has broken the ultimate taboo by evoking threats to precipitate an EMU crisis, which would risk a chain reaction across the eurozone’s southern belt, where yield spreads on state bonds are already flashing warning signals. The comments reflect growing bitterness in Dublin over the way the country has been treated after voting against the EU’s Lisbon Treaty.
“If we have a single currency there are obligations and responsibilities on both sides. The idea that Germany and France can just hang us out to dry, as has been the talk in the last couple of days should not be taken lying down,” he said.

Voting against the Lisbon Treaty and cynically and Cavalierly jumped the gun over guaranteeing savers’ accounts, which caused a hugely expensive panic across the EU, with depositors clearing their member-state accounts and heading for the safe-haven of Ireland, has hardly endeared Ireland to the rest of the EU. An EU which Ireland is now threatening to further undermine, if the EU doesn’t bail Ireland out. There’s a logic to this, which eludes me at present.

All of the crap Ireland is getting from the EU is purely down to one thing……The fact we rejected the Lisbon treaty. Well as an Irishman i have a message for those bureaucratic, unelected morons in Brussels. We are not called the fighting Irish for nothing. I had visted Ireland a quite few times. By chatting with the locals there many things that they once enjoyed or did to make a living made it impossible to live. They see the EU as some type of dictator. Also in the process they see as eroding Irish Heritage and if they have a chance to withdraw from the EU it’s their chance to do so.

I’m not Irish but I implore the good people of Ireland DO NOT AGREE TO THE LISBON TREATY! There is a whole stack of retroactive legislation written up over the last few years that ALL BECOME ACTIVE WHEN THE TREATY IS RAMMED THROUGH.
That’s why they are pushing. They don’t want a bit of your sovereignty they want it all and you in slavery.
The rest of Europe will cheer you if you resist. Don’t sign the treaty. NEVER allow your elected leaders to do this (It’s treason so make sure you let them know that you know this).
The UK is going down and the elite are trying to punish you for stopping their bully boy schemes and throwing out the treaty.

The problem for the Heroes of The Revolution proclaiming the pluckiness of plucky little Ireland vis-à-vis bully boys Germany and France, is that as soon as Ireland gets itself marginalized or exited from the EU, all of those with skills will be off to the USA, England, Germany, etc. as quickly as possible, and Ireland (ROI) will revert to the quiet times of the 1970s.

Yes the article says we have the Euro of course. However McWilliams has a point, there is no assistance coming from the big 3 who hold the voting power. Trouble we have here is that all 3 of the main parties are pushing the Lisbon Treaty with blind obedience to the elite.
People might be interested to know that the 2008 Bilderberg Meeting had an excessive Irish presence because of the first Lisbon vote. McCreevey was there Sutherland too plus the Attorney General and his predecessor. Seems we delayed Rockerfeller’s plan a year
Another one to notice was Willie O’Reilly was at the Bilderberg in 2006 I think and afterwards he went and bought our 4 top listened to radio stations, which might explain why all the messages are pro europe

Jesus we’re royally fucked here in Ireland. On the one hand, our closest neighbours and one of our biggest trading partners (the UK) is going down the tubes. American companies, though they still hold large investments in Ireland, are feeling the pinch. Banks are sending some jobs to eastern Europe and Dell is doing likewise with I believe 600 workers here being axed and their jobs going to Poland. Then we have the fuckin EU basically telling us they won’t accept it until we vote yes to the Lisbon Treaty. I’ve thought that staying in the Euro is a good thing because the Anglo-US currencies are tanking and it’s better to have strength in numbers but we may not have a choice either way now due to the EU’s posturing. Man we could end up as bad as or worse than Iceland.

It appears to me that membership in the EU is not voluntary. The EU, Like the proposed NAU, is the brain child of the Bilderburg Group. Perhaps when the global Depression takes hold, the New World Order will be dragged out of their chairs and meet the fate that’s been long overdue. Let them go out of the EURO, I say. The EURO was a stupid idea anyway. Ever since it came into being, costs have been rising here up to the sky, more and more people got out of work because of the cheap prices of labour in Eastern Europe (which we subsidirize with our tax-payers money by having to pay them ,as well as Ireland, their growth of economy!), and things have gotten worse.
Actually, I would prefer to go back to the European Economic Community of 1950, without all those new countries and just within the core-countries from the beginning and with all nations having their own money. Germans, though, are never asked what they want. They are the bad Huns who have to pay for everything and get nothing from it….

Ireland introduced a 10% corporation tax several years ago. This put pressure on other european governments to reduce their own corporation taxes. The result has been increases in indirect taxes in countries like Germany which has been to the detriment of ordinary working people. Ireland’s economy boomed at the expense of workers in other european countries. Then the Irish started to ride off the back of the germans. It took Germany 40 years to build up the german mark which resulted in lower long term interest rates and a strong currency. When Ireland joined the euro it soon benefited from 2% interest rates which resulted in a speculative housing boom that has now collapsed. Dublin house prices increased ten fold from 1990 to 2005. House prices have remained stable in Germany for the past fifteen years as inflation is seen as a fools economy. The usual suspects in europe have all run into trouble before ie. Spain, Greece, Italy, Ireland and the UK. All these countries experienced serious devaluations against the german mark during the early 90ies. The reason being is that the populations of these countries are not as competative as the germans. An economy should be based on savings and honest hard work and not on speculative finance!

We have oil/gas off our shores, we have fallow land that would get our farmers back to work, we are an island and have no shortage of fish only fishermen, no shortage of water lol, how did we get to the stage where the EU has barred us from fishing and farming. It has been suggested that a campaign by ‘We the People’.ie, entitled, ‘We want our money back’, will be launched soon.
The original Irish Pound note will be printed up as a post card with web sites such as Infowars etc on the reverse along with an overview of the nwo agenda and more. These will invoke a nostalgic influence upon People and instill a sense of intrigue into younger People who never had the privilege of the use of theses notes.
What was printed on these note was the following , central bank of Ireland,Legal tender note, a full date ,two signatures- one from the dept.of finance the other from the governor of the bank. On seeing this, they can compare it with the euro with no mention of any bank,no full date ,no legal tender and no real signatures. They will also be informed on the rfid chip contained in them and to microwave same to prove it.

Things are heating up over here. On the mainstream R.T.E. six o’clock news last nite, it was announced that a new financial new world order is needed to deal with the crash. Very alarming.

Above is a refreshing article that appeared in the main stream news paper ‘Irish Independent Monday in Dublin Ireland. It is the first time such an article has ever appeared. Even similar articles have been ‘pulled’ and labeled, ‘conspiracy nuttery’ in in Ireland’s ‘alternative’ Indymedia.ie. The message is getting out. Perhaps the writer caught a glimpse of the displays that were posted around the City recently asking People to google and youtube AMERO, the real reason for the orchestrated demise of the dollar and subsequent money crash. This is a very promising sign for the no campaign in defeating the Lisbon Treaty/Eu Constitution…..again.
