That’s the impression some Dodge County residents may have had Tuesday while watching the Wisconsin National Guard and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department storm the vacant high school on the south side of Juneau during a training exercise.
“The unit being evaluated is the 54th Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team (WMD CST),” said Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls, who also holds the rank of colonel in the Wisconsin National Guard. “This is a highly specialized 22-person unit that is available to first responders to handle nuclear, chemical and biological hazards that are outside the capabilities of the local communities.”
The exercise scenario includes a militant group holed up in the old Dodgeland High School building hatching a plan to develop and release a biological warfare agent. The group is also laying the groundwork to launch an attack on various Wisconsin government officials, including the governor.
Believing that a laboratory may have been established to produce weapons of mass destruction, the Sheriff’s Department requests the support of the 54th WMD CST to apprehend the militia.
Activities ran throughout the day.
Cooperating agencies include the Dodge County Airport and Wisconsin Aviation, City of Juneau Police and Fire Departments and Public Works crews, and Dodge County and Juneau Emergency Management teams.

yea and along interstate 75 in Ohio you see military hum vees,,, and other military containers being moved to God knows where,,,,,One thing,,,why would those who are patriot,,, do anything to harm the country they hold soo dearly to their hearts? the answer i fear is the mentality of the neocons who would have us enslaved,,,, for them to create chaos to gain their end ,,,that being total control of the human individual,, very sad ,,im a son of a ww2 marine (Guadal Canal),,, to all who have gone before us who have defended this once great country it is a disgrace to see military actions that allude to a scheme of paranoia!! the real scary part is these are supposed to be intelligent leaders on all levels!!!! i ask you ,,, who is paranoid?? who is creating chaos??? people need to stop selling this country out for a paycheck!!!!!! aka ( the judas iscariot syndrome) I pray that Jesus guides us in all our ways. the borders have lacked security in this country sinced 9-11 ,,,you cant help but consider the reasons why,,,,it is self eveident that they prepare for war against the American people at large!! This is additional preparation for the upcoming imprisonment and execution of many innocent and patriotic American citizens.
I would personally be very fearful of wearing a uniform eight hours a day during a violent guerrilla war where an overwhelming number of citizens owned guns and vowed to use them in stopping tyranny.
I couldn’t imagine the endless raw terror of driving amongst angry, armed citizens in a flimsy painted vehicle with colored lights on top that advertised both my location and status as their hated enemy. The crushing stress of this scenario would quickly cause me to develop PTSD.
So I’d either be forced to quit my job immediately or shoot myself in the head to escape the howling fear and clawing nightmares.

That is so stupid, I have to hold back from swearing!! I live just a few hours away from Dodge County and to say that what will happen is what they have trained for in wisconsin, that is bulls---. The problem isn’t the internal of counties or even states, its the internal denial of the government to trust americans, and look for a problem that I don’t see that exists. Cause and effect repeated over and over again.

One false step from a group such as this, in this state, would result in hundreds, if not thousands, of weapons appearing in the hands of those that disapproved. Those holding these weapons know very well the operation thereof and many, such as I are vets and have about had it with this B.S. The population of the East coast, consisting mainly of well spoken gutless wonders, may put up with this but you start messing with our kids and your days of going home at night are truly numbered. It appears to me that the unwanted but needed remidy for what has infected our country may unfortunately be another revolution. The blowhards the spend their nights writing their hardnosed prose in he blogs are all mouth, backed with nothing but more words. Things are different here, should we be pushed beyond the breaking point a 22 man highly trained squad would present little more than an uncomfortable bump in the road. If there is to be another revolution, several whom I know feel, as someone once said, “Let it start here.”

Maybe we still do not understand: If you work for the government regardless of party affiliation you are a traitor. I understand we all need to eat and provide for our families, but stand up and have a spine people. It is not just Neo cons, Republicans, Democrats it is all levels of government. The story started off with militant group as target and then changes to militia group. maybe its just a simple typo.
