A caller on C-Span’s Washington Journal asserts that Congressman Ron Paul and Infowars.com are better sources to understand the current financial crisis than the dominant mainstream media and typical go-along political figures.
The caller also brings up the Federal Reserve as being the main issue that Washington needs to address.
Uri Dadush, Economic Department Director of the World Bank, seems stumped by the mention of the Federal Reserve, which he claims is ‘part of the system of U.S. government already’, before redirecting the conversation towards liquidity efforts in the private banking sector.
Dadush misses the point– perhaps out of confusion, and perhaps out of reluctance to discuss– that the Federal Reserve (which is private, but given power [unconstitutionally] by Congress) controls the money supply and can print at will.

watch him squirm , priceless .
erm…..aaah …….what was the question ……?
October 10th, 2008 at 9:00 pm
Great questioning…but in a situation like that i think a caller should just ask one question which warrants one response rather than just throw a bunch of comments out. It would be more difficult for the respondent to dodge the question as we saw here.

The Federal Reserve serves the bankers quite well but that done at the expense of the common citizens who see the “true value” of their money go down, all the time.
October 10th, 2008 at 9:23 pm
Perhaps; Dadush has over-dosed himself on ‘Borsch’ at lunchtime.. Those big banking types sit there (all knowingly and avoiding like) and spit it in your face, and you are only left to let it soak in, except, the spit, it smells, like, ‘Borsch’.. and you are left afterwards- to smell like ‘Borsch’.
“Cheap, like Borsch!”

I wonder if he was playing the innocence card, or if he genuinely did not know that the Fed isn’t government? Curious.
October 10th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
what…and the “private banks are discussing what they are doing?…Indeed, they most certainly are, sir. As it is just that: the private banks ARE THE FEDERAL RESERVE. There is no confusion here at all, really, just the truth in its – yes it is true, your eyes do not deceive – purely very obvious form, and the form is ugly, dispicable, greedy, and undeniably evil in its most “pure” form.
October 10th, 2008 at 9:41 pm
So the funniest part is when the caller talks about the “Creature from Jekyll Island” it was like someone brought a bag of garlic to a vampire convention. He looks up and seems like he is taking cues from someone in the audience or something. He was in no way going to start talking about the private Federal Reserve system on C-SPAN. God forbid we expose these guys from under the rocks they come from. resisttyranny.com

What else would you expect from this criminal? The Fed isn’t just part of the government, they are the government. It sure isn’t CONgress! All they are for is to maintain the illusion that the people have some kind of voice in this country.

That cockroach was stalling with his “I didn’t hear the question” baloney. He HEARD it…
ALL of it, and needed time to figure out an appropriate lie. These trolls are used to giving orders from their hidden ivory towers and never having to face accountability. You see what happens
when “one of the rabble” strikes a nerve with a penetrating true question. There’s a saying
for guys like Dadush, Paulson, Bernanke and their elite buddies. They act superior but each
one has a paper a**-hole. Nothing but spoiled, brain damaged psychos have charge of the
world’s finances, but it’s just about ready to tip over. The rubber is meeting the road, and
there’s no place left for those thieves and liars to hide.

I think what this clown meant to say was, the government is part of the Federal Reserve. Not the other way around. The private bankers own the U.S government. What’s so how to understand? Traitors sold out the government decades ago. Our fathers, grandfathers, and depending how old you are, great grandfathers, failed to realize what was going on. It’s over people, the U.S government is not our government. Get it through your heads. If you thinking your going to take it back, don’t make the mistake of thinking you can vote it back. You can’t! Voting is rigged in case you haven’t noticed. There’s only one way to take back our government.

The Federal Reserve is a privately owned corporation, consisting of 12 private owners. The IRS is
also a privately owned operation, and a collection agency of the private federal reserve. It is a Pure Trust of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. It has NO AUTHORITY to “tax” any man, woman, child or business within the boundaries of the united States of America, and NEVER WILL.
Agents of the Department of Treasury-Internal Revenue Service of Puerto Rico are (Unregistered “Foreign agents” as described in 219 and 18 USC 951.
The IRS Form 1040 violates the federal Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) and is therefore a
legally invalid form.

I’m at a library as I type this. There is a large “Standard & Poors” Corporations Book from 2005 here. It lists all United States Corporations in 2005, it’s CEO’s and it’s Directors.
The book clearly lists all 12 Federal Reserve Banks with all the Federal Reserve Directors.
Yet, there is no listing of any Government Agencies, Departments or otherwise. Only the Federal Reserve Banks.
The sad part of all this is the fact that although you and I realize this, the other 95% of the nation does not. Only because they don’t read.
As Thomas Jefferson said “The masses are asses”.

Independent within government
Further information: Central bank#Independence, List of United States independent agencies, and Independent agencies of the United States government
The Federal Reserve System is an independent government institution that has private aspects. The System is not a private organization and does not operate for the purpose of making a profit. The stocks of the regional federal reserve banks are owned by the banks operating within that region and which are part of the system.[26] The System derives its authority and public purpose from the Federal Reserve Act passed by Congress in 1913. As an independent institution, the Federal Reserve has the authority to act on its own without prior approval from Congress or the President.[27] The members of its Board of Governors are appointed for long, staggered terms, limiting the influence of day-to-day political considerations.[28] The Federal Reserve System’s unique structure also provides internal checks and balances, ensuring that its decisions and operations are not dominated by any one part of the system. It also generates revenue independently without need for Congressional funding. Congressional oversight and statutes, which can alter the Fed’s responsibilities and control, allow the government to keep the Federal Reserve System in check. Since the System was designed to be independent whilst also remaining within the government of the United States, it is often said to be “independent within the government.”[27]
The 12 Federal Reserve banks provide the financial means to operate the Federal Reserve. Each reserve bank is organized much like a private corporation so that it can provide the necessary revenue to cover operational expenses and implement the demands of the board. Member banks are privately owned banks that must buy a certain amount of stock in the Reserve Bank within its region to be a member of the Federal Reserve System. This stock “may not be sold, traded, or pledged as security for a loan” and all member banks receive a 6% annual dividend.[27] These member banks must maintain fractional reserves either as vault cash or on account at its Reserve Bank; member banks earn no interest on either of these. The dividends paid by the Federal Reserve Banks to member banks are considered partial compensation for the lack of interest paid on the required reserves. All profit after expenses is returned to the U.S. Treasury or contributed to the surplus capital of the Federal Reserve Banks (and since shares in ownership of the Federal Reserve Banks are redeemable only at par, the nominal “owners” do not benefit from this surplus capital); the Federal Reserve system contributed over $29 billion to the Treasury in 2006

Ok well the person said that the FRB is a part of the U.S. government system and that is true. He also said the governments should have a more direct control that is also true. The FRB is not accountable to anyone. At least nationalize the Central Bank and the politicians are accountable.
With what the FRB is proposing is unaccountability in all areas of government. The FRB wants to destroy the constitution of the U.S. and substitute it with the North American Union. THE FRB IS THE TRUE POWER in the U.S. and must be abolished

October 11th, 2008 at 5:48 am
Umm Umm this guy is so wrong from the start. The Federal Reserve is not part of the US Government. It is only part of Government in the sense that it has infused privately held fractional reserve banking into the country for so long. The Fed is what the caller said it is. With the $700 bil bailout rammed through by Treasury and the close collaboration with the Fed on where to place the money, it is trying to merge as a quasi public. Sorry, it is not. It is a dinosaur. Finally, this guy seems like a clueless wonder who is more part of the problem than the solution. Infowars rules.

This guy is just another useful idiot that’s aiding and abetting the highest of high treason being perpetrated on America and the world. He’s somewhere towards the bottom of the pyramid plying his miserable banking trade ignorant of the monstrous overtones that his participation in it represents. He’s the punk on the corner sellin’ his little bags of dope to all us junkies in this society our whole lives and our parents and grandparents too. The Fed is the big pusher-man. He keeps pushin’ the stuff and we keep takin’ it because right now we’re hopelessly addicted. If we stop now we’ll be sick for awhile but we will recover. If Americans don’t wake up and put a bullet right between its eyes NOW and restore its health then you can kiss it all goodbye. What is it gonna take? Why do people need to be slammed upside the head with a 2×4 before they realize how these drugs of federal reserve notes are killing them? What cunning evil geniuses these predatory banksters are.

Of course they are. Is someone trying to convince us otherwise? If one corporation writes a check to another, that means they are in business together. I would sure like to see the Confidentiality Agreement between these two very prominent corporations. Where are they licensed to function (which state)?
The deeper you dig, the chances are you will see very clearly where the corruption begins, but never seems to end. I suppose we are to believe that OUR corporation (The US) is protecting the interest of the shareholders, but they are not. It’s all about money and what people can and will do to protect THEMSELVES before anyone else.
Maybe our government needs to speak the truth and let the people that pay their salaries know where they stand in terms of the POOL we all swim in together. The US Corporation has borrowed your current and future value to create this mess, but fail to let the vessel creating the value in on this little fact. The truth would set them and us free, but they don’t care about that kind of freedom. They just want the freedom to manipulate the very generation that have obviously adopted a debt or die approach to life. Fear creates panic and panic makes people do unruly things.
Maybe if the truth were expressed, we might actually gain some qualified people to run for President. Not this round of course.

U.S. SHIPS 800 BILLION “AMEROS” TO CHINA; PREPARES TO DE-MONETIZE U.S. DOLLAR
(read 2ND PARAGRAPH CLOSELY)
October 3, 2008
The US Secretary of the Treasury has informed the China Development Bank that the US has shipped $800 Billion of a new currency called the Amero, which is to be based upon the merging of the economies of The United States, Mexico and Canada into what is termed as The North American Union.
The current American debt obligation to China, currently based on the US Dollar, is now estimated to be the staggering sum of $2.5 Trillion, and which this new Amero will be exchanged for $400 Billion of this debt as the current American currency is set to be devalued by 50 percent before the end of the year.
Virtually unknown to the American people is that their current leader of the US Department of Treasury, Henry M. Paulson, Jr., has been tasked by President Bush to lead the efforts to join the economies of the US, Canada and Mexico and is also the head of the North American Development Bank, the bi-national financial institution established by the United States and Mexico to further the merging of their economies, and the leader of the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC), the organization created by the governments of the United States and Mexico to further the implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
This is important to note as the final provisions of the NAFTA Agreement were implemented on January 1, 2008, leaving only the final merging of the economies of the US, Mexico and Canada into a North American Union to be accomplished, of which we can read:
“President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration’s true open borders policy.
Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a policy to expand NAFTA politically, setting the stage for a North American Union designed to encompass the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration truly wants is the free, unimpeded movement of people across open borders with Mexico and Canada.
President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.”
It is also interesting to note that American economists have been warning about the replacing of the US Dollar with the Amero, due to pressure from China, for nearly two years, and as we can read in this December, 2006 report titled Analysts: Dollar collapse would result in ‘amero‘, and which says:
“As WND reported earlier this week, in an unusual move, the Bush administration is sending virtually the entire economic “A-team” to visit China for a “strategic economic dialogue” in Beijing Thursday and Friday. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke are leading the delegation, along with five other cabinet-level officials, including Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez. Also in the delegation will be Labor Secretary Elaine Chao, Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt, Energy Secretary Sam Bodman, and U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab.
But Chapman doubts the trip will help the Fed to engineer a slow dollar slide.
“The Chinese are going to do what the Chinese want to do, not what we want them to do,” he said. “I believe the Chinese are going to send Treasury Secretary Paulson and Fed Chairman Bernanke home packing, with little or nothing to show for the trip.”
How severe will the coming dollar collapse be?
“People in the U.S. are going to be hit hard,” Chapman warned. “In the severe recession we are entering now, Bush will argue that we have to form a North American Union to compete with the Euro.”
“Creating the amero,” Chapman explained, “will be presented to the American public as the administration’s solution for dollar recovery. In the process of creating the amero, the Bush administration just abandons the dollar.”
The prophetic warnings of these American economists are, indeed, coming to pass as during the month of September alone, 10 years worth of gains on US stock markets have been wiped out in their entirety andbank runs are now occurring in the United States for the first time since the days of the Great Depression leading to the failure of 13 banks, some of their largest, and the imminent failure of 117 more forecasted by the US government.
US Treasury Secretary Paulson, however, continues leading the chargeattempting to force upon the American people the ‘final peg’ to their own demise by completely bankrupting the United States leaving no other choice but to completely discard the almost totally worthless US Dollar and its replacement with the Amero.
It goes without saying that the American people will greatly resist the replacement of their Dollar, but this cannot be said when tens of millions of them are without jobs and their life savings have become worthless leaving them with no other choice but accept what their own leaders have planned for them all along.
For myself, I think that the day such an announcement of the Amero replacing the Dollar is made, is the day I may be left with no choice but to start killing the people involved in destroying my nation.

Good post #44
The problem is that the average American still does not understand the full ramifications of what our so-called “elected” officials have planned and are doing to usher in the New World Order. This latest stock market collapse is obviously allowed to happen just like 911 was ALLOWED to happen, just another typical false flag operation of problem, reaction, solution to move the sheeple along. What true humanitarians need to do is to continue EDUCATING others as has been happening more and more with each passing day…its not enough that we recognize some of the signs occuring around us, our numbers need to reach critical mass, and we are close to that, and then maintain focus and pressure where needed. Our government asked us not to forget 911 whereby all these changes that have happened since 911 has transpired very quickly; therefore, let us do that, never forget 911 and hold those who were responsible for 911 accountable! Oh, and as a footnote, the Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel that is not federal and has questionable reserves at best that prints money based on nothing much like monopoly money and then charges interest on that created out of thin air fiat money to the USA–the IRS was created to assist collecting on “some” of the assests owed to the crooked Federal Reserve. We need to educate others about this as well! PEACE!

The United States Corporation is owned by the International Monetary Fund. The deal between the United States Corporation & The Federal Reserve have absolutely nothing to do with either money or our government which we abandoned. However, while they are not the real government for the country, they are the government over their own infrastructure. Our relationship with them as far as their ability to govern us is purely contractual. Read the united states code definitions on what they define as “State” & “United States”. Read the District of Columbia Organic Act of 1871 & the Bretton Woods Agreement. All of the info is there. They say if you want to hide something from someone hide it in a book. There is a reason all these people in office have military flags in their offices. It is because they’re operating under martial law including the president. He is commander & chief of the military, but not the lawful president of the country. The military is a democracy & that is why Bush is in control. http://www.teamlaw.org

#64 – The Federal Reserve is a part of the US Government as Federal Express. Do some home work before coming on here and showing your ignorance. The caller suggested a good source for you. You should take him up on that and read G Edward Griffin’s book “tThe Creature From Jekyl Island” especially if you frequent this website. Get informed.
October 14th, 2008 at 12:58 pm
Of course they are part of the Government…….They have controlled them for almost one Hundred Years. Soon, The FED will learn that they are no longer welcome in this land and will flee with all of their FIAT currency so we can start our free country once again!
October 14th, 2008 at 1:52 pm
THe FED as you call it is not “part of the US Governmant”. It is a privately held corporation made up of the large international banking and money interests. They were “given” the power to issue our US currency through slight of hand and lies back in 1913. We then “borrow” the currency they create out of nothing at face value and at an interest rate THEY set. What a deal! The only thing backing the currency is our promise to pay but we are now at the point where it’s impossible for us to repay the debt created so they are calling in the “loan”. We are in recievership. BANKRUPT! The FED was created by an act of congress and can be disolved by an act of congress. Ron Paul is correct!

Thank You for stating the obvious! I guess it is becoming politically incorrect to make fun of the FED that has led the Government around by a very short leash since December 13, 1913 @ 11:45 PM
Life is much too short to engage in trivial little lessons of the criminal elements of rogue banking institutions that had the ultimate intention of owning the world to control you.
I think they will win if we remain divided as a nation.
