I can’t fucking believe this story. Even if the kid made a bomb threat, and there is doubt that he did, he deserves a fair trial. I can’t even imagine how upset this kid must be. I know I would be scared at that age if I was thrown in jail, couldn’t talk to my family, and told I could be held for an indefinite time.

First of all, I saw NOTHING in the story that said the kid was guilty. Even if he is guilty of making bomb threats in another state, there were already laws on the books to deal with that, BEFORE the anti-American Patriot-Act.

Did the crime? Did you not hear what was reported? Someone stole his IP Address and was making threats from a phone wired through the internet. Apparently you didn’t pay attention during the video. I suggest watching it again and thinking about your half-assed answer you just gave. And I’ll almost guarantee you that if it was another race, you’d have Jesse Jackson and his homeboys all over this ordeal, not to mention possibly the ACLU or some other shit-filled organization, trying to “understand what went wrong.”
You obviously have no sense of what is actually going on by bringing “race” into a discussion of how this country and that Patriot Act are flawed.

Alex had her on yesterday telling her story…Apparently, they were at church when the calls were made. He’s a minor, and she’s not allowed at the trial. He cannot under the patriot act, face his accuser to defend himself. And he can be held indefinitely without a trial. they’ve apparently had “experts” on saying it is impossible to hack an IP address. My husband knows computers and knows that it is totally possible to hack an IP address. There’s software out there that does it for you. If your IP is insecure, you can hack it NO PROBLEMO!!…We connect via wireless to others IP address. When ours goes down, we can connect to any close connection that’s unsecure. This is truly sickening.

Look People the cops have been doing this kind of thing for years. I was out in the bars in 1987 met a woman in the club a black woman she was 27 at the time and I was 26. We went to her house at 2 am after the club closed started to make out and then she said she was not ready . So I left and called her a fucking cock tease room and said a few other things and slammed the door and took a bus home. She called the police told them I raped her and then the test showed she had not even had sex so then she said I tried to rape her and left. I met her and gave he my business card and wrote my home number on it.
So at 7 am the cops break in my door drag me to jail in my t shirt and pajamas throw me in a holding tank. They do not tell me why I am under arrest and then leave me in the holding cell for over 5 hours. When they do finally take me to the interview they tell me I am being charged with attempted date rape. Like a fool I tell them the truth and they charge me with Sexual Battery False Imprisonment. I go to court the DA and her lies send me to Prison for 3 years. I did nothing but go home with the wrong crazy woman and did 3 years in prison. So do not tell me the law is new at fucking over people and throwing them in prison. I know so many people I met who were in Prison for these type of so called sex crimes. Many are innocent and most are not. But every day the cops throw innocent people in Jail for lies and amped up evidence. This is not a free country never was,

Actually, you signed your kids over to the government when you “register” their births. Once you sign that birth registration form, you are essentially handing ownership of that child over to the government. Wardriving is the act of searching for Wi-Fi wireless networks by a person hoping to access their network, using a portable computer or PDA, There are plenty of reasons a “hacker” would be looking for Wi-Fi other than the internet. Possible for an IT expert. My kid is on the web all the time and has no freakin idea how to discover that someone is using his ip. It’s impossible…and besides, the IP wasnt changed it was spoofed. In other words, someone basically routed their crooked ass phone call through this boys computer. Look it up on the web….it’s happening a lot now with IP based phones. Hackers are assholes!

Please excuse me I am no IT pro. I only want to suggest that the tcp/ip stack ( which is like the wheel and is free) should be able to accept a module that would . As is nornal at 50% of ttl (time to live) call on that ip call the node anding the mask and indicate if the ip were responding on any other local or superneted network and then flag the stack for y/n
I`ll check if it`s cidr or vlsm which best decribes but it`s a long job What is not a long job is building,adding and testing a module (bit of software) that would not only fix it but also point at least to the next router / node but also if it is a sub or supernet.
I will get friend to help me carry the books in.

Its poor judgement to believe something based on faith, I imagine this mother can see this clearly now. That comment is not meant to pick at her or to be considered a “low blow” in anyway, I simply mean that for her the power given to the goeernment and the fact that a major part of the population goes about their lives believing that all is well has hit home for her. That aside, she is not the issue, that could be any face on that video and it wouldn’t be any less wrong if anyone of us was taken in and held. I propose that all major and efficient minor militia groups have an emergency phone # when stuff like this happens. When a burglar breaks into your home you call 911, but what if cops break into your home? Many cases like this where the person or people are helpless as the government does as it pleases. If your local militia had a phone #, you could call them and they will be there and stop it as best as they could. I’ll admit it might take a little bit to work kinks and stuff out, but it should work.

Doesn’t the FBI stand for Federal Bureau of Investigation? Many of you, if your not computer savvy have had you internet connections co opted. For example if you signed up for AT&T wireless G3 service, started using you wireless modem and got the connection speeds you were promised but then noticed that your performance has degraded you should go to your internet connection and look to see if you are even still getting G3 service. You could have been switched to another network without you permission. The connection usually has been co opted to carry extra network traffic and not for you. Your wireless modem has some files encrypted with 128 bit encryption, however, I have observed that encryption being decrypted, by the offenders taking control of your connection. Actually it is possible for a group of people to be using you internet connection making it look like you are doing it.

There was a bomb threat at my school @ Orange County, Fullerton; however the kid who did it wasn’t searched nor did he get charges that are of that proportion.
What good could they possibly get out of grabbing him? Maybe they’re planning more to do with him AFTER he comes out of whatever they’re doing to him?
Heck, he might even testify to doing bombings (or use him as a scapegoat as soon as the FBI lets him go) and used as a “prime example” for all of the United States so that the Patriot Act can go right though w/ public support.

1) I can think of no better cause to take up arms over. Think about it. Robert, the Patriot Act was to provide special powers in extreme cases to keep the public safe. For example, if a person had evidence of a freaking nuke FBI would previously still be hamstrung without warrants etc. In actuality the human element would have the typical FBI agent into action throwing caution to the wind and take their chances to not be prosecuted. This Patriot Act was a written guarantee of that safeguard for the FBI and other agencies.
HOWEVER, in such a scenario as this… the public was already PROTECTED and SAFE after discovering the minor child had no opportunity to be a serious threat to the public — arguably retaining this minor child would require discovery of WMD materials.
FURTHER, the matter is moot since the agencies do not have such authority under the US Constitution. This cannot be applied to a US Citizen even if the law was passed by Congress. It did not ammend and certainly did not override the Constitution, duh.

Those are not terrorist attacks. From wikipedia: “In November 2004, a United Nations Security Council report described terrorism as any act “intended to cause death or serious bodily harm to civilians or non-combatants with the purpose of intimidating a population or compelling a government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act”. All terrorist attacks are always followed by the terrorist group taking responsibility and making political demand. Without that, it’s not a terrorist attack but something else, because without publicity it does not make any sense for any terrorist group. As you know, there was nothing like that in either case.

In NC, the sheriffs and police have no jurisdiction over state and fed goons. The NC General Assembly years ago stripped the local law enforcement of their former jurisdiction.

A lot of these bomb threats are the school administrators telling lies in an effort to look like a hero or something. I know this, because it happened to me. Years ago when I was in High School I was brought in to talk to the administrators and a police officer, without parental consent or my rights offered. I was arrested and expelled for something I did not do. They claimed I had made a bomb threat. I fought it, got my record cleared and returned to school in eleven days. After a few months of legal battles the board of ed had to pay me 13,000 tax payer dollars for my legal fees. I graduated without any further problem that year.

To those who discuss whether the ip was stolen or not, whether the kid was guilty or not. That’s not the point. The kid quite likely was 100% guilty as hell and quite likely indeed was making phony threats, and deserves the jail. But this needs to be found in regular court with normal legal process, with defender, proof, presumption of innocence until proven guilty, and so on.

The Anti-Pedophelia Act
I wonder if the US should enact an Anti-Pedophelia act. Secret trial, no right to defend yourself. If a group of 6-10 people believe that a federal agent trumped up charges on a minor child in order to have “relations” with that child, then another federal agency will haul that agent off to detainment to be interrogated until he confesses to his crime.
Or until some other elements are learned that corroborates his story eventually. I’m sure it can all be sorted out.

Jacaroo, It does not appear to be global at all. It’s largely the West (you know, the “free” jurisdictions), and of those it is primarily the Commonwealth States…..Oh, and of course good the old District of Columbia.

The mother needs to sue the computer software manufacture. Somebody had hacked into their computer and stolen her sons IP address that is suppose to be protected by a firewall. This should bring in a hefty fine from that manufacturer, which would go towards paying court and legal fees to get her son out of prison.

can’t you see this whole story is full of BS. The comment that the Patriot Act “supersedes” the Constitution is the biggest BS of all. It saddens me to see how stupid our people have become these days to not understand what the term “Supremacy” means in the Supremacy Clause. The Supremacy Clause of the Constitution states that ALL LAWS of the United States (federal laws) have to be made in pursuance thereof “the federal Constitution” which includes the Bill of Rights. It also states that any state laws and any provisions of a state Constitution that violate the Federal Constitution are “null and void”. Finally, AS FOR ALEX’S COMMENTS THAT OBAMA CAN OUTLAW GUNS USING A TREATY, IT STATES THAT ALL TREATIES HAVE TO BE MADE UNDER AUTHORITY (authority = laws) OF THE UNITED STATES AS WELL. THAT MEANS NO TREATY CAN VIOLATE YOUR RIGHTS EITHER. So, this young man and his family have the opportunity to file major lawsuits against the federal government and their operatives as well as charging them with criminal violations such as kidnapping, etc. Yes, nobody in government (including law enforcement) has authority to violate your Constitutitional rights. One option this young man’s family can take is to sue everyone involved in violating his rights individually for millions of dollars each. They will try to claim you can’t do this either, but you already know they are liars. After enough people sue the governments and their officers for millions of dollars, the governments and their officers will be forced to stop this UNCONSTITUTIONAL madness or go bankrupt.
P.S. One avenue for suit by U.S. citizens is through the Constitutional tort by way of 42 U.S.C.A. Section 1983. See the phrase “Color of Law”. You should look at your state laws for a better avenue.

They are doing this because they have his power of attorney for his state contracts to include his birth certificate, driver’s license, ssn card. I beat court cases by filing revocations of power of attorney with the state for the above and also with the United States of America, INC., the Internal Revenue Service, INC. and all corporate subsidiaries, employees and agents thereof. It works great.
