WWF Resorts To Deception In Climate Fearmongering

Global warming fearmongers the World Wildlife Fund have been caught in a new act of deception after citing shrinking Arctic ice coverage to suggest climate change is “faster and more extreme” than first thought, while failing to acknowledge that Arctic sea ice expanded over an area bigger than the size of Germany during the year of 2008.
“The Arctic Ocean is losing sea ice 30 or more years ahead of the projections presented in the Fourth Assessment Report (Stroeve et al, 2007). There is near consensus in the Arctic scientific community that significant aspects of this hastened loss of sea ice are caused by feedback mechanisms, the effects of which had been severely underestimated in the report,” states the WWF report.
The graphic depiction used to illustrate the point in a London Telegraph article shows Arctic sea ice coverage between 1979 and 2007 and a clear reduction in ice coverage.
The report’s author, geoscientist Dr Tina Tin told CNN: “Arctic sea ice is melting much faster than everybody had been expecting.
The problem with this statement, as well as using a 2007 satellite image to illustrate the point, is that Arctic sea ice coverage massively expanded during 2008 by a whopping 30 per cent – an area bigger than the size of Germany.
According to collated data from the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and the University of Illinois, Arctic ice extent was 30 per cent greater on August 11, 2008 than it was on the August 12, 2007. This is a conservative estimate based on the map projection.
The 30 per cent increase coincided with a record low in sunspot activity over the same period, again proving that climate change is driven by natural catalysts as it has been throughout history.
“Sunspot counts are at a 50-year low,” says solar physicist David Hathaway of the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. “We’re experiencing a deep minimum of the solar cycle.”

Which is why we are seeing evidence of natural global cooling all over the planet – Alaskan glaciers growing for the first time in 250 years, unprecedented ice storms in Kenya, China experiencing its coldest winter in 100 years, many parts of the U.S. suffering their coldest April on record along with record snowfall, Britain suffering its coldest Easter in decades, Sydney Australia suffering its coldest summer in 50 years.
All the evidence is screaming out that the planet has now embarked on a cooling trend to follow the natural warming trend that caused Arctic ice to shrink in the first place, just as natural global warming caused Greenland to be green thousands of years ago when it was a lush forest and when temperatures were on average 5 °C (9 °F) higher than today.
For the WWF and the London Telegraph to use 2007 data and completely discount a gigantic 30 per cent increase in Arctic sea ice coverage from August 2007 to August 2008 is not only misleading, it is completely dishonest and atypical of the politicized agenda-driven global warming lobby.
The deception has echoes of the “stranded polar bear” hoax when global warming alarmists attempted to use an emotional photograph of “stranded polar bears” to convince people that global warming was melting ice caps and wiping out cute cuddly animals. The fact that the photos were taken in summer, when ice caps naturally melt, that the polar bears were close to the shore, and the fact that polar bears can swim a distance of around a hundred miles at a time, was not pointed out.

Good bye Alex it was fun while it lasted, but the time for us has past and now we go our separate ways. We have been through a lot, there have been highs and lows, valleys and peaks, but has always been a learning experience. You have taught me a lot with what little education you have and I like a sponge learned the ways of information gathering.
Unfortunately the time has come for me to move on, it’s time to learn how to solve these problems and not just talk about them. Awareness is all good, and suggest you keep up that front however, we have to start working on solutions and not just focus on the problems. Peter Joseph had some good ideas (concerning energy and diverting our money from the criminal banking cartel), and you treated him like you would David Gergen. It was uncalled for and disrespectful. I’m sure if he just presented the information without offering solutions you would have been on board with most of what he said.
His solutions were VERY well thought out, and he NEVER ONCE insulted you regardless of how belligerent and irate you approached your arguments. You were simply out smarted that day, and could not understand the true plan which he was getting at. But it doesn’t end there.
The following day you resorted to tactics that OUR enemies use on us everyday “the smear campaign”. WHY?
Was this man such a threat to you that you felt the need to resort to such meaningless tactics?
I could understand not agreeing in it’s entirety of the venus project, but at the same time you didn’t offer any form of constructive criticism. Didn’t go through the implications and say “ya that’s good” or “that part needs some fine tuning”, NO instead you rammed your foot in his mouth and suggested that he was a pond for the NWO. All because he has a common view of religion.
Organized religion has been masking behind our spirituality for centuries, it prey’s on our ignorance of how the world works and where we come from, and with our ignorance it divides and manipulates to achieve there goals and powers.
Spirituality is from within, even the most predominant Ethiust can acknowledge that fact. I for one would sacrifice my religion for the better of humanity. How about you?

I know this isn’t the article to be posting this on but I was out of town last week and only listened to the interview this morning. I also listened to the interview you conducted with Michael Coffman, clearly you favored what Coffman had to say as opposed to Peter Joseph. I bet it was his religious beliefs that has you kissing his boots.
Look Alex you’re a smart man for a guy who never went to University, and respect you more because your self educated. But your downfall is your ego, and your self consciousness. It’s almost embarrassing to see you get out smarted by someone as young as Peter Joseph. He poses no threat to society and you should have treated him as such. Not to mention with the Coffman interview you showed all of us that you can conduct yourself in an appropriate way.
Regardless I’m in search for solutions now, over the past year or so I have found that your information has gotten repetitive and often has been misleading. You have adapted a fear and hate approach to your delivery of the facts which has resulted in NOTHING. Seven years and you still haven’t been able to implement change to the general public. The reasons for this is quite simple; every step we take closer to the truth, we get sent back four steps because of information that was distorted in some way shape or form. Most of that discredited information was in fact FROM YOUR SITE.
So good bye Mr. Jones and good luck, I hope you actually achieve your goals of waking the people but I chose to use my efforts in a more productive way. I would love to see humanity and trust restored amongst our communities. My efforts will be aimed at that rather then just throwing information at general public with no solutions to present to them. Not to mention the fact that when you soil your reputation with misleading information the process of waking people up becomes that much more difficult.

I figured out WWF was a scam the hard way 12 years ago when I donated money got no reciept and when I demanded one for income tax they had no record. That really pissed me off. Working as a field geologist I knew that global warming was a fraud but I never heard of the NWO at the time. I want my money back.

It is a graph of sea ice growth, and we can clearly see that less ice melted this year, that the minimum was reached early, and that refreezing was setting an incredible pace, until today. For five days Ive been waiting for an updated graph from their Oct 16, 2008 data. Even though it is supposed to be updated daily, there was no movement for days.
Then, this morning, this wack job graph comes out that defies explanation when compared to the satellite images available from the university if Illinois.
How do they arrive at this data? The world is colder. I’ve been monitoring global weather for 21 months now, from cities all over the world, and we are colder. Now, I see the most glaring evidence yet of data falsification.
Help me figure this out.

That’s the exact mentality that has gotten us in the mess we see ourselves in today, but thanks for the vote of confidence. Not to mention that I thought I made myself clear on the point that Peter Joseph idea’s are good but not perfect.
Let me ask you something what would you give up for a humanitarian causes?
Would it be your wealth?
Your pride?
Your beliefs?
or your blood?
Because I think those things would be sacrificial for the cause, what is not sacrificial is OUR LIVES. No one should be doing that, yet my kids are fighting a war that most of us don’t agree with, and willing to give up there life for the freedoms of our country (which also is a myth since the patriot act has been implemented).
All I’m saying is that we need a better system to adhere too. The monetary system is BUNK, and cannot be implemented without the suffering of others. I could care less if the resource based economy is successful however it’s a vast improvement to the system we are currently using.
I also believe there is room for improvement, let’s say we don’t abolish religion yet we build city’s to support that belief. New York christian, chicago jewish, miami muslim, all based on a resource system and being productive societies without interference of the other.
Hey I’m just at the beginning of my research for solutions and probably shouldn’t be disclosing this information till I have it clear in my head but there is no reason why spirituality and science can’t co-exist in a civil society.
Anyways I’m just about finished getting caught up with last weeks news and to be honest, a lot of speculation and forecasting going on as of late. You could say what you want about me but you guys are truly getting mislead.
Sorry but once your awake the fear and hate tactics get old and demeaning. Obviously you haven’t crossed that bridge but if you have been listening to Alex for as long as I have he always will fall short of logical solutions (I’ve been listening to him since 99). He is willing to prepare you for the worst, get guns, get supplies, build bunkers, these or not solutions but rather an end result which will NEVER happen.
Solutions are what this movement needs not more proof. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is fully aware of the problems, the way to get them moving in a positive direction (and not isolating them) is by offering solutions and not going on and on about the problems. The result is hopelessness, and helplessness, which seems to be a common theme at this site. WE KNOW BUT WHAT ARE WE TO DO?
So like I said before the resource based economy is not an attractive system for some of us, I recognize that, however why not make improvement on the plan rather then dismissing it for what it isn’t?
We could probably debate this till were blue in the face but the end result doesn’t change. The monetary system is too easily manipulated by the people who have a lot of money, and the resource base economy is to godless, SO LET”S MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND WHO KNOWS MAYBE WHEN WERE FINISHED WE WILL HAVE SOMETHING THAT CAN BE ACCEPTED BY ALL FRACTIONS OF HUMANITY..

You missed the part about the new ice being only a few inches thick. The stuff that was there previously was multi-feet thick. It’s the volume of ice that’s decreased enormously. And did you fail to get the news that not only is the Northwest Passage open but also the NorthEast Passage? That there is now a race to get at the newly exposed resources in the Arctic?
That’s all established fact that requires but a few minutes with Google. But you aren’t after facts.

The world has been warming since the mid 1800’s and will follow its own cycles. We cannot keep a midsized house in Vermont warm in winter, how could we overheat a planet?

Alright boys, I do acknowledge a long term trend of warming has been occurring for 40 years. But, accordingly, temperatures in the atmosphere did level off in 2003, and have since been in decline. Now, I would argue that the ocean will carry stored heat from that warming period for many years after a cooling trend begins to transpire.
There is a historic record of a changing climate at all times. We’ve had incredibly hot periods, and cooler ones, to down right cold ones. And, we often forget that the Northwest passage was indeed open before, when Amundson navigated it in the first place.
I don’t have an issue with environmentalists (unless they name call), because I am one myself. My carbon footprint is nominal compared to the average, as is my whole family, and we are working to get off grid and kill use of plastic in our lives.
However, I think there isn’t any proof that the warming experienced was not natural, and most of the evidence is to the contrary. CO2 is plant food. Taxing it will not solve the ecological nightmares being carried out daily. Its a distraction, failing to address truly nightmarish failures of environmental stewardship on the part of humans.
Id like to talk further with all of you.

There are plenty of paid off scientists that will side with the W W F, but, that is all in the name of money. There is a growing and steady increase of scientists that are actually speaking up no longer in fear going against the tree hugging environmentalists. Not saying we should not be waging war protecting the environment and keeping our planet safe. But when their are no reported sun spots (which regulate our atmospheric tempature) recorded on the sun, and the ice caps increase in size gotta be obvious. So those getting fundage will lie to get that cash flow still coming.

I have very rarely seen ‘the doors’ song used as eloquently as you have. It’s the polite good bye that we should all use when departing info wars.
Also I agree with you that Alex seems to be on a script and when a guest doesn’t follow that script he goes in to his wwf (world wrestling federation) rant and completely undermines all his hard work. Most if not all of us have been woken up by Alex directly or indirectly and owe a lot to him, but what’s the point of being of being awake if we aren’t going to come to a solution?
My last point is that people should respect a person who is attempting to make changes in the world other then sitting around and talking about it. It’s just too bad that we don’t have more people like comment #1, willing to devote their time to solutions then just going around telling people what the problems are.
You people are simply ridiculous to assume that people are just looking for the problems because most of the problems are sitting right in front of our faces, the solution is where the difficulty lies and the sooner we can get to that point the better.

Krakatoa volcano – last erupted 27 August 1883 a.d. throwing more “greenhouse gases” into the atmosphere than mankind in its entire history. In the following 3 years temperatures actually DROPPED a bit.
Santorini volcano – last erupted around 1600 b.c. producing even more “greenhouse gases” than Krakatoa (and it erupted several times) Well, hello! We are still here! nothing happened !

convert percentages to units 97 natural co2 3 man made co2 in order to double co2 to 200 units we would have to emit 103 units which would mean 33 times more coal plants or other forms that is not going to happen here. Why don’t they include the up to date ice caps on google earth, because the data might go against their agenda? Temp readings can and are made fraudulant. Computer models, the same ones that brought us derivatives, fix cloud cover at a constant because a + or – of one percent of cloud cover would make co2 insignificant in their models.

Besides I wasn’t even the person who laid comments down concerning Alex and his information (which is under a lot of scrutiny, for his cut and paste approach), as a matter of fact I think Alex only has 2 writers that he trusts NIMMO and WATSON. Both of which are highly opinionated and use other resources to find there information (they very rarely get it from any other sources other then mainstream media). I find it ironical that he uses mainstream media as the basis for his debunking. Not to mention that everything I have ever read at this site is OPINIONATED and highly refutable.
Like this article doesn’t mention how thick the new arctic ice is and how long it is expected to last. I guess time will tell. But when I went to Santa Monica I couldn’t see the ocean from my hotel and it was right on the beach. It’s not CO2 that concerns me it’s the carbon monoxide that is my greatest concerns especially in high traffic area’s. Traveling to San Diego was bumper too bumper in the worst air I have ever come across in my life.
These are things we can prevent, the fact that ice is melting doesn’t really bother me that much.

WHERE DO THESE SATELLITE IMAGES COME FROM. The NASA link only covers sun spots doesn’t cover the effects on the arctic.
So where are those images coming from?

I typically refrain from response on forums such as this, as there is little to gain from doing so, but this time I could not. I’m no stranger to the NWO agenda. I’ve been aware of and educating myself on it since the late 70’s, and I accept it for the inevitable truth. Those who do not see, know little of true and base human nature, much less have they ever wondered about all of that mystical, and blatantly non-Christian, imagery on their own currency.
I’ve also been paying alot of attention to Alex for over eight years now, as what he has to say is mostly invaluable and verifiable truth, contrary to anything you will ever see in the financial cabal’s mainstream propagandist media machine. Yet I do not exclusively worship at his, or any other, altar. Because I do differ from him on one very crucial point, which also happens to be the point I wish to make here.
This paragraph is directed at #1 if he is still present, and those who agree with him, either in whole or in part. Many of the people reading this, to include Alex, himself, may well hear you, but they are never going to pay you any mind, other than to deride you. People do insist upon believing what they want, as evidenced by the multitude of sheeple who will be systematically herded into the Illuminati’s slaughter pens. Many of those same people reading this are to be commended for their affrontery toward the money lords, but they are content solely in the comprehension of the problem, and are not concerned with any solution other than passive resistance. This is because they steadfastly hold to the perpetuated myth of, in the end, being saved by some great transcendental power in the sky, as likened to a DeMille theatrical epic. In broader terms, they believe in the proverbial free ride.
I would like to close with this thought: I knew damn well I wasn’t going to get through this thread without encountering the following two terms at least once – HIPPIE – and TREEHUGGER. Among other things, I am in fact, both of these things. I also happen to have infinite and profound respect for the Native Americans, their culture, and their unprecedented spirituality; and if their ways could have simply continued rather than those of the idiots who arrived on the boats, we would not be in this fucking mess to begin with. The boats should have been sunk on sight, and their occupants massacred and left adrift as sustenance for the fishes. So to the mental pygmies and bigots who chose to use these two terms in a derogatory context, I sincerely invite you to kiss my pagan ass. Now go on back to Europe or wherever you came from, or hurry on to your fabled Rapture. You and your kind have no place on what could be a peaceful planet!

I could say there is very little to argue with what you said, although a tad bleak.
I’m only responding to this because I don’t think #1 is coming back (he hasn’t posted in 2 days), but I can respect where your coming from and the culture back round that you referenced. I don’t label or hate anyone (which I guess would make me a hippie or tree hugger but it doesn’t mean I can’t defend myself), but I wish people would question Alex and CO. a little bit more because if we don’t question him we might not get to the root of the problem. apparently it’s 10% and not a ‘whopping’ 30% …. it’s still an increase though.
someone let alex and paul watson know that this article exists. and that the author who calculated the 30% increase has now changed his statement …..
“it is clear that the NSIDC graph is correct, and that 2008 Arctic ice is barely 10% above last year – just as NSIDC had stated.”
