The anti-Trump protester arrested in Kansas City for physically attacking a police horse describes herself as a “commie feminist”.
Waving a giant red flag, 29-year-old April J. Foster was caught on camera yelling at the horse and trying to scare the animal as police attempted to control an unruly mob. She subsequently slapped the horse and tried to run away when police singled her out for arrest.
Despite initially being able to flee, Foster was later charged with abuse of a police service animal.
In Foster’s Instagram bio (now deleted), the individual (who apparently identifies as ‘transgender’) describes him/herself as a “commie feminist”.
Imagine my shock.
No word has yet emerged from Donald Trump as to whether his campaign disavows the individual responsible for slapping the horse.
Under new rules established since last week’s events in Chicago, Donald Trump is to be held personally responsible for the actions of the “peaceful” anti-Trump protesters who stage violence at his rallies.
Meanwhile, in a related development, PETA issued a press release condemning the individual.
“All animals feel pain, stress and fear just like we do, and they deserve our respect and protection,” said PETA’s Senior Vice President Daphna Nachminovitch.
“Horses are highly sensitive prey animals, and this poor horse was without a doubt already under a tremendous amount of stress as a result of the chaos, the crowds, the deafening noise of the angry protesters, and more. PETA commends the person who called the tip line so that this woman’s apparent cruelty to this horse does not go unpunished.”
As we reported earlier today, Tucson cop Brandon Tatum, who attended a Trump rally as an impartial observer, came away from the event with the opinion that anti-Trump protesters were the “most hateful people” he’s ever seen.
