Arizona State Rep. Frank Pratt, 68, was airlifted Saturday night to Phoenix, where he was hospitalized with bruises and at least one fracture, 3TV News and KASW CW 6 reported.
Pratt’s wife, Janice, said in a statement that injuries to his face will require plastic surgery. “Facial injuries always swell a lot and look scary, but he is OK,” she told KGUN News 9.

The attack occurred about 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Day when Pratt went to check on his swimming pool business, Pratt Pools, in Casa Grande. He was assaulted by someone who was waiting inside the building, police said.
