Jury selection in the trial of accused mass murderer James Holmes begins Tuesday, two years after the movie theater massacre.
Holmes, 27, is accused of opening fire on a crowd of movie goers during a midnight premiere of ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Rises’ in an Aurora movie theater on July 20, 2012. Twelve people died and dozens were wounded.
Holmes is charged with more than 160 counts, including murder. He pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
