New information in the case of a former police officer accused of murdering his son emerged on Friday in court.

In September, Christopher Page admitted to causing the injuries that killed his 3 month old son, while he was an police officer in Paris, Tennessee. He’s charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of aggravated child abuse.

Page’s family members filled a Henry County courtroom on Friday as he appeared in handcuffs before Judge Larry Logan, brought in from Caroll County.

The appearance took an emotional turn when Brandt Holt with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation took the stand. He read medical records aloud, listing the injuries that killed 3-month-old Gunner Page.
