Crime Stoppers is turning to kids to help solve crimes.

It sounds odd, but it’s worked in Detroit and now it could be coming to your child’s school.

The anonymous crime tip service launched Project Safe Campus for students in Genesee County on Wednesday.

It works just like the adult version of Crime Stoppers.

They get $100 if they report a tip and either the school or police end up taking action on what they reported.
