During a speech at the Value Voters Summit in Washington, D.C., Texas Senator Ted Cruz was repeatedly heckled, prompting him to allege that the event had been infiltrated by pro-Obama operatives.

Reports indicate that Cruz was heckled a total of six times by unidentified protesters.

While some suggested that the hecklers were “pro-immigration reform” protesters, Cruz seemed convinced that they were from the pro-Obama activist group Organizing for Action (OFA).

“It seems President Obama’s paid political operatives are out in force today.” Cruz suggested after one heckle.

“And you know why? The men and women in this room scare the living daylights out of them.” Cruz added.

“In the course of this speech, we’ve heard more questions than the president has taken in the last year.” the Senator added after another heckle.

“You know, look, it is a great thing that people can express their First Amendment rights. And I only wish the Obama administration respected First Amendment rights that much.” Cruz said to another heckler.

“How scared is the president?” Sen Cruz added. “What a statement of fear… Oh they don’t want the truth to be heard.”

Another heckle prompted Cruz to ask “Is anyone left at the Organizing for America headquarters?”

“I’m actually glad the president’s whole political staff is here instead of doing mischief in the country!” Cruz stated following yet another interruption.

Following all the interruptions, Cruz made the following “offer” to Obama:

“I would welcome the president, if he wants to get a hundred of his most rabid political operative in a room, I’ll answer their questions on television as long as he likes. And in exchange, all that I would ask, Mr. President, is you take not a hundred, but ten of the men and women in this room, and spend 30 minutes answering their questions for the American people.”

Cruz, who spoke against Obamacare for more than 21 hours straight prior to the government shut down, watched as all the hecklers were removed one by one by security guards.
