Employees of Ukraine’s Inter television were urgently evacuated on Saturday from both of the channel’s buildings in Kiev amid fears of a violent raid or arson.

“We were given 10 minutes to get our things together and leave the building. We weren’t given the reason,” one of Inter’s journalists said.

Another Inter employee told the agency there had been warnings that the buildings might be raided or have fire set to them, and that this explained the evacuation.
