A group of scientists discovered an exoplanet 300 light years away in the constellation Crux.

The recently discovered exoplanet, HD 106906 bm weighs about 11 times the mass of Jupiter and it’s located 650 AU (average distance between Earth and the sun) from its star.

This orbit is huge; 650 AU is roughly 16 times further than the distance between Pluto and the center of our solar system, the Sun.
