During a CNN interview last night in Ferguson, Missouri a protester held up a sign declaring “ISIS is here.”

The video and still images of the declaration that ISIS is present at the protests were flashed across the twittersphere.

While it is doubtful ISIS, now going by the name the Islamic State, has placed jihadists on the street in Ferguson, the sign has prompted many to conclude the protest contains an anti-American Islamist element.

The stunt has all the earmarks of a scripted provocation designed to demonize the protesters and the effort to rein in the police.

It corresponds with a recent propaganda effort by ISIS. In a video posted on the internet, the terrorist army said it will drown Americans in blood.

ISIS earlier declared in a VICE Media video it would will raise its flag over the White House.
