CBS late night host Stephen Colbert is under fire for making a crude joke about the President of the United States, Donald Trump, being a “cock holster” for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On Monday’s episode of CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the former Comedy Central host launched into a vicious tirade against Trump.

Colbert was defending CBS “Face the Nation” host John Dickerson after an interview Trump gave, in which the president informed Dickerson that his nickname for the Sunday show is “Deface the Nation.”

“I love your show, I call it ‘Deface the Nation,’ but your show is sometimes not exactly correct,” Trump told Dickerson.

The following day, Colbert gave a controversial response some say was insulting to gay people.

“Mr. Trump, your presidency, I love your presidency. I call it ‘Disgrace the Nation,'” Colbert said.

“In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s c— holster,” added the late night host.

“As of late Tuesday night, the hashtag #FireColbert was the No. 2 trending topic nationally,” reports the New York Post.

The URL has already been registered and is actively compiling a list of CBS advertisers that sponsor the show.

“This is a viral movement to Fire Stephen Colbert from television. His comments about President Trump are inexcusable,” the website says.

Since the controversy erupted, Colbert, CBS and John Dickerson have all been silent on the matter.
