Donald Rumsfeld told the Iraqis democracy can be messy. It can also be bloody. In Alhawijah, Iraq, over the weekend the people of Iraq once again learned that American democracy is often murderous. They learned a long time ago that democracy imposed by neocons and the Pentagon at the behest of a gaggle of eugenics-minded globalists can have the effect of shutting down civilization – electricity, water, medical services, and the availability of the amenities of life we here in America take for granted.
Obama has climbed up on his high horse and complained about the brutality of Muammar Gaddafi.
Prior to the latest staged media event, banksters, transnational oil corporations, swanky hotel chains and other industry magnates supported the eccentric dictator. Gaddafi’s son Saif was the the neoliberal frontman for Libya. Gaddafi and crew promised to “privatize” (fork over to the globalists) the Libyan economy and oil refineries and other downstream sectors of the oil industry.
Gaddafi, like Saddam before him, is merely a pawn to be used in a geostrategic chess game. The Middle East is now undergoing a violent transformation engineered by the global elite. It will not result in more freedom and iPhones for the impoverished masses. In the end, the people of the Middle East will be worse off than they now are under the iron-fisted rule of dictators installed by the United States and the former Soviet Union (a creation of Wall Street and the banksters).
Shooting your own citizens and dragging them off to torture chambers is no big deal. In fact, the globalists prefer this sort of gruesome behavior because it usually keeps the serfs – most who make around two dollars a day – in line. It is difficult to organize a resistance when you are closing in on starvation.
Meanwhile, Obama has said nothing about the Iraqi military – trained and armed by the United States – shooting protesters with live ammo and rounding up intellectuals to be tortured in dungeons, another specialty of the CIA and the Pentagon. The U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division taught their students well.

George Bush and the neocons accomplished their mission – the wholesale destruction of Iraq. Cholera, typhoid fever, whooping cough, measles, mumps, polio, kwashiorkor, and other diseases were rare in Iraq before Bush Senior attacked the country. Bush Senior and Junior and their lost son Bill Clinton made sure such preventable diseases ravaged the country by banning antibiotics, anesthesia, oxygen, antiseptics, x-ray film, functioning medical equipment, and even aspirin under United Nations imposed sanctions.
Bush Junior finished the country off with his 2003 invasion. Iraq is now little different than a failed state in Africa.
In 1990, it was the jewel of the Middle East, never mind its CIA installed and U.S. armed dictator. Saddam Hussein was basically a creation of the CIA. His problem was that he adopted Arab pan-nationalism and this was unacceptable to the globalists. Saddam considered himself to be the reincarnation of Nebuchadnezzar, the Babylonian king. He complained too loudly when Kuwait slanted drilled his oil fields.
“It is prohibited to attack, destroy, remove or render useless objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population, such as foodstuffs, agricultural areas for the production of foodstuffs, crops, livestock, drinking water installations and supplies and irrigation works, for the specific purpose of denying them for their sustenance value to the civilian population or to the adverse Party, whatever the motive, whether in order to starve out civilians, to cause them to move away or for any other motive,” states Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, 1977.
This is precisely what the Bush I and II and their adopted son did – they meticulously targeted the civilian infrastructure of Iraq.
The attacks targeted electric power generation, water treatment, pumping and distribution systems and reservoirs; telephone and radio exchanges, relay stations, towers and transmission facilities; food processing, storage and distribution facilities and markets, infant milk formula and beverage plants, animal vaccination facilities and irrigation sites; railroad transportation facilities, bus depots, bridges, highway overpasses, highways, highway repair stations, trains, buses and other public transportation vehicles, commercial and private vehicles; oil wells and pumps, pipelines, refineries, oil storage tanks, gasoline filling stations and fuel delivery tank cars and trucks, and kerosene storage tanks, sewage treatment and disposal systems; factories engaged in civilian production, e.g., textile and automobile assembly; and even historical markers and ancient sites.
Thomas J. Nagy has documented how the U.S. military deliberately targeted Iraq’s water system.
Bush Senior killed between 100,000 to 250,000 Iraqis during his first invasion. Bill Clinton imposed sanctions that killed 500,000 children and around a million adult Iraqis, and Bush Junior killed around 1.4 million Iraqis. Obama has since added to the toll by refusing to pull troops out of the country.
3 million plus dead Arabs. Mission accomplished.
Libyans now in the streets of Tripoli and Benghazi need to be highly skeptical of any support by the United States. Obama and Secretary of State Clinton do not have the best interest of the people in mind.
A month after the protests began in Egypt and deposed U.S. client Hosni Mubarak, the military is back in control. Protests are now dealt with by baton charge. Nothing much will change in Egypt, never mind the support of Google and MTV.
Egypt’s “market-oriented” economy – thanks to the IMF and “structural reforms,” including fiscal, monetary policies, privatization and new business legislations – will not result in a reduction of unemployment and poverty for the Egyptian people.
How dare the people of Iraq complain and demonstrate against the U.S. installed puppet al-Maliki. How dare they raise their voices in opposition to the destruction of their country.
Sunnis, Shiites, Kurds and Christians will all experience the wrath of the state if they venture out and make their voices known.
23 were killed alone on Saturday.
