The “Consumer Protection Board” created by the Dodd-Frank act in 2010, hasn’t protected consumers. It has made loans more difficult to get and put hundreds of small & medium banks out of business — AS IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO. Now, after its director resigned, the deputy director is in open defiance of President Trump’s authority to select an interim director, even filing a lawsuit to establish herself as the heir to the bureaucratic fiefdom.
