Kanye West revealed his inner thoughts on individual rights and humanity’s projection during an Oval Office meeting with President Trump, which was open to reporters.

It’s interesting to see the projection of Kanye West himself as he transforms from a hip-hop star into a thinker who brings to mind Cicero, Locke, Socrates and Basiat.

Like Kanye, historic philosophers also attracted their share of critics, but nevertheless their outspoken thoughts created ripples within human consciousness that influenced future generations, particularly by making people wonder about the world which they inhabit.

On the Second Amendment:

The problem is with illegal guns. Illegals guns are the problem – not legal guns. We have the right to bear arms.

On race relations:

Now another thing is that black people have an issue with the word “again,” but I believe – my feeling from that – I’m going to go all the way signaling with it because time is a myth. All we have is now and all we have is today. So the word “again” doesn’t hurt us because of the idea of racism or slavery… it hurts us because we need to focus on who we are NOW, today.

…We can benefit on this side and [that] side and learn how to be malleable in the infinite universe that as loving, living beings we are in.

So we don’t have to [inflexibly] stick to our traditions because we are a side, we are one unit, we are one country, we are one moment in history and time. You might have been here before, but right now we’re here together with the greatest value that people have are other people.

On whether he’ll run for president:

Let’s stop worrying about the future. All we really have is today. Over, over and over again… [it’s] the hero’s journey. Trump is on his hero’s journey right now and he might not have expected to have a crazy mother fucker like Kanye West run up and support him. But you best believe we are going to make America great.
