MSNBC’s Tamron Hall and Thomas Roberts downplayed Bill Clinton’s sex scandals this week by claiming that stories about the former president being a cheater are only “allegations.”

Hall’s remarks came early Monday morning as she discussed with CNBC’s John Harwood presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s recent attacks on Hillary Clinton and her husband’s infidelity issues.

“John, before this morning, the lead was probably these vicious attacks that Trump has leveled against Hillary Clinton, her husband’s affair or affairs, alleged affairs,” the MSNBC anchor said Monday.

Hall later played a clip of the casino tycoon going after Clinton via her husband’s affairs.
