Birmingham Police are waiting to hear from the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office on what charges will be filed against a Detroit police officer involved in a road rage incident over the weekend.
“We’re hoping to hear back from them today,” Birmingham Police Cmdr. Terry Kiernan said Monday.
The road rage incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. Friday. Kiernan said the off-duty Detroit officer, 43, was driving southbound on Woodward Avenue when he reportedly cut off another driver near the intersection of Maple and Woodward.
