This coming Saturday, a second amendment support rally will be held in Asheville, North Carolina. However, this year’s rally will be different from the 2013 rally.
Why? Because supporters of the second amendment are strongly discouraged from carrying guns.
Last year, many gun rights supporters that gathered in Asheville openly carried their firearms (as is their right), which apparently stirred up concern among law enforcement and city officials. This year, a press release issued by MACPAC encourages attendees to leave their guns at home. However, wearing an open holster as a statement is encouraged.
