Man’s best friend isn’t typically the kind of “criminal” you’d consider a threat to law enforcement, yet more frequently Fido is finding himself on the receiving end of the muzzle.

While a dog’s threat level can be difficult to judge in the heat of the moment, more and more police opt to shoot first and ask questions later, and rarely if ever have to answer for their cowardly acts which often affect entire families and their trust in law enforcement.
