A new survey has found that most women reject the label “feminist” because they find it to be too extreme and sexist AGAINST men.

The poll, undertaken by YouGov, reveals that while 32 percent of women identify themselves as feminists, 45 percent reject the term.

When asked why they do not identify as feminist, 47 percent said it is because they believe feminists are “too-extreme.”

A further 7 percent said the reason was because “feminists are anti-men.”

The survey also found that 27 percent of men reject the ‘feminist’ label because they feel modern feminists are anti-men.

The poll did find some deviation in opinion when the demographic of age is factored in.

“The youngest Americans under the age of 30 (30 percent) are only slightly more likely than over-65s (27 percent) to say that they are feminists, but they are noticeably less likely to outright reject the label of feminist (44 percent to 62 percent).” YouGov noted.

A majority of 61 percent of men said they are not feminists, with only 19 percent saying they are. Overall, 53 percent of American men and women say they are not feminists.

No doubt the extreme feminists will see this as part of the vast conspiracy to oppress them.
