During an interview with Politico this week, former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger finally admitted it was a bad idea for Western nations to bring in so many migrants from across the globe.
“It was a grave mistake to let in so many people of totally different culture and religion and concepts because it creates a pressure group inside each country…” Kissinger told Axel Springer CEO Mathias Döpfner.
The comment came in response to the recent attacks by Hamas on Israel as Kissinger stated his home country of Germany allowed too many potential terrorists into the nation.
Popular X account Wall Street Silver accurately noted it’s hard to believe Kissinger was previously unaware of the consequences of mass migration.
The former top U.S. diplomat said Israel has a right to respond to the Hamas attack, but warned, “The Middle East conflict has the danger of escalating and bringing in other Arab countries under the pressure of their public opinion.”
Of course, after overseeing American foreign policy throughout the Vietnam War era, Kissinger has no ground to stand on when it comes to condemning violent attacks on civilians.
Always thinking from the mindset of a globalist, Kissinger voiced concern the war in Ukraine and Hamas’ attacks on Israel could harm “the international system.”
