In a dystopian sign of our social credit score future, four million French people woke up to discover their vaccine passport had suddenly expired because they hadn’t got the latest booster shot.
Yes, really.
France 24 reports on an 18-year-old student who “headed straight for the vaccination center” after she “woke up to an expired vaccine pass after not getting a booster shot in time.”
The student complained about there being “too many rules” and the length of time before people had to get a booster being shortened from 6 to 3 months, but she went ahead and rolled up her sleeve anyway.
Another young woman interviewed by the news channel who chose not to get a booster shot said, “I don’t have the right to do anything anymore, so I’m not even trying, I hope the pass is suspended soon.”
France is still one of the stand out basket cases of Europe, imposing some of the harshest COVID restrictions and being the last to lift them.
Only recently were people in France allowed to eat and drink in cinemas and on trains as well as order a drink standing up at a bar.
Up until a few weeks ago, mandatory outdoor masks were also required.
As we highlighted back in December, the French Minister of Health has admitted that vaccine passports are a “disguised” form of mandatory vaccines, despite President Macron claiming vaccine mandates “will not be compulsory.”
Earlier this month, riot police in Paris fired tear gas into cafes and restaurants during anti-COVID restriction protests, causing terrified diners to flee.
