Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump called on Congress to investigate the Justice Department and the FBI’s indictments against him, calling them “political witch hunts” aimed at rigging the outcome of the 2024 election.
“Congress, if you will, please investigate the political witch hunts against me currently being brought by the corrupt DOJ and FBI. They don’t go after Biden with all of his corruption, the most corrupt president in history,” Trump said on Tuesday.

“They keep coming after me. This continuing saga is retribution against me for winning and even more importantly for them, election interference regarding the 2024 presidential election.”
“It will be their updated form of rigging our most important election,” he continued. “Look at the polls, they can’t beat me. The only way they can win is to cheat.”
“Stop them now. Save our country. Make America Great Again,” he added.
This comes amid reports special counsel Jack Smith is preparing to serve another indictment against Trump, this time over the January 6 protest.
The 45th president has already been indicted by Smith for retaining classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, and by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg over hush payments allegedly made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
Despite the government’s prosecutions against Trump, he remains far and away the GOP frontrunner and defeats Joe Biden in hypothetical matchup polls.
Meanwhile, the FBI and DOJ are taking no meaningful actions against Biden in the face of hard evidence and whistleblower testimony brought forward by the House Oversight Committee detailing alleged foreign bribery schemes.
