Guatemala’s Culture and Sports Ministry revealed this week that the remains of multiple children under the age of five were found at the site of an altar in the country’s Tikal National Park.
The lead archaeologist on the team that made the discovery, Lorena Paiz, said the altar was likely used for child sacrifices.
Footage of the altar was posted online:
The discovery marks the first time a Teotihuacan-style altar has been found in Guatemala.
In what is now Mexico, Teotihuacan was a sprawling city that covered about 8 square miles and was home to over 100,000 people, with its iconic Temples of the Sun and Moon at its heart.
The Guatemalan temple highlights the sociopolitical and cultural exchanges between Tikal’s Maya and Teotihuacan’s elite from 300 to 500 A.D.
“The Teotihuacan were traders who traveled all over the country (Guatemala),” Paiz said. “The Teotihuacan residential complexes were houses with rooms and in the center altars; that’s what the residence that was found is like, with an altar with the figure representing the Storm Goddess.”
Another archeologist bizarrely tried to portray the two civilizations as non-violent despite the existence of child sacrifice altars, saying, “We see how the issue of sacrifice exists in both cultures. It was a practice; it’s not that they were violent, it was their way of connecting with the celestial bodies.”
Alex Jones and Infowars have documented for decades the connection between ancient cultures and the modern eugenicist movement subscribed to by many of the world’s elites with human sacrifice acting as a focal point of their satanic religion.
The ruling class have been obsessed with depopulation and killing humans to satisfy demonic interdimensional beings for thousands of years.
