A case in Arizona to reveal public records relating to over 200,000 voters without proof of citizenship will proceed to an evidentiary hearing, a judge has ordered.

Judge Scott Blaney of Maricopa County described the records as being “a matter of statewide importance and public interest” when he made the order.

The case was filed by America First Legal against the Arizona Secretary of State for withholding the list of 218,000 voters who were recently discovered to have no evidence of citizenship on file.

Initially, it was thought the number of voters in this category was 98,000, but that number has now been revised to well north of 200,000.

It’s claimed the mistake was made due to a glitch that affected voters who received an Arizona driver’s licence before 1996. The Democrat Secretary of State has claimed the affected voters are mostly Republicans.

The revelation that so many voters are registered without proper identification has been a source of acute embarrassment for the Arizona governor and the state regime. A leaked conversation revealed the fears of Governor Katie Hobbs, Attorney General Kris Mayes and Secretary of State Adrian Fontes that the revelation would validate “theories about illegal voting in our elections” and make every election since 2004 “challengeable.”

The state has filed its own lawsuit seeking to have the voters designated as “federal only” voters and prevent them from voting in local elections.

The Secretary of State’s determination not to release the voter records has only raised suspicions of possible election tampering. The Gateway Pundit reports that the Secretary of State’s office has filed an emergency motion and plans to call “an expert in political violence” to the witness stand to claim there are “privacy and safety concerns” with making the list of voters public.
