At least 16 people were shot overnight in Sacramento, California,with six of them being pronounced dead, the police stated on Sunday.
Reports suggest that a man in a car opened fire at a crowd near the El Santo restaurant, firing up to 50 rounds and then fled the scene.

The conditions of the victims were not immediately known.
A spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department did not address whether the suspect is still at large has been apprehended, but urged people to avoid the area, noting that officers are the shooting.
