Kamala Harris demonstrated why her campaign is so desperate to keep her from giving unscripted interviews when she attempted to speak to reporters Friday.
During a stop in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the Democrat nominee appeared incredibly flustered as reporters asked for her thoughts on the state of the race, seemingly caught off-guard as she uncomfortably delivered a slow, rambling response.
🚨 WORD SALAD ALERT 🚨

“I am feeling very good about Pennsylvania because there are a lot of people in Pennsylvania who deserve to be seen and heard,” Kamala said, in her typical word salad-style that’s become an awkward hallmark of her unscripted moments with the press.

If you were wondering why she won't do a press conference or an interview this about sums it up!

The painful interaction is representative of Democrats’ larger issue with Kamala: that she’s not very good when giving off-the-cuff remarks, a point highlighted by social media users.
What a difference a scripted set of remarks (like Tuesday debate) makes to non scripted remarks.

That’s a classic word salad. Feeling good about Pennsylvania is great, but how about some actual plans or specifics?

It's no wonder why they don't let her talk to the press.

She lacks any sense of authenticity. Impossible to relate to someone like her. It really shows when she doesn’t have a script.

Her response implies that she thinks there are people in Pennsylvania who do not "deserve to be seen and heard."

Former President Donald Trump has previously called attention to Harris’ nonsensical interactions with the media, describing the vice president’s speech as “speaking in rhyme.
Donald Trump to Tucker on Kamala Harris: “She speaks in rhyme. It's weird… Well, the way she talks: 'The bus will go here and then the bus will go there! Because that's what busses do!'”

So good 🤣🤣🤣

Unpleasant moments like this illustrate why her campaign is avoiding the press and running the exact same basement strategy they used for Joe Biden in 2020.
