Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon excoriated the globalist elite for making American taxpayers essentially pay for China’s military through bond-buybacks and excessive spending.
During his show “War Room: Pandemic” on Saturday, Bannon explained how the Americans are “underwriting their own destruction” by indirectly funding China’s military buildup.
“You, the taxpayers, are paying in interest payments every year for the Chinese military,” Bannon said. “For the greatest existential threat we’ve ever faced, the American taxpayer is underwriting the kinetic ability, the hard – not soft power – the hard military power of the transnational criminal organization.”
“You, the taxpayer pay for that. The deficit spending, the out of control budget, we had to sell the bonds,” he continued. “The $1.2 trillion of government bonds they own. The interest payment on those bonds pays for that 2-million man army, it pays for the 300-ship navy, it pays for what they’re doing in the South China Sea.”
“And if you follow Biden’s budget, you follow the $6 trillion – another $11 trillion this year when you add it all – when you do real accounting, what the Chinese have to buy in those bonds, it’s gonna be a hyper-military.”
“We’re paying for the existential threat, the great threat this Republic’s ever faced, your pension fund is underwriting it, your tax dollars are paying for it,” Bannon added.
This comes after Biden recently claimed that China will “own America” within 15 years.
“I’ve spent more time with President Xi [Jinping] of China than any world leader has — for 24 hours of private meetings with him with just an interpreter, 17,000 miles traveling with him in China and here,” Biden told troops at Joint Base Langley Eustis in Hampton on Thursday.
“He firmly believes that China, before the year [20]30, ’35, is going to own America because autocracies can make quick decisions.”
