Former advisor to the Donald Trump administration Peter Navarro has been sentenced on a criminal contempt of Congress charge on Thursday, being hit with a four-month sentence by the corrupt Biden DOJ.
Federal prosecutors claim Navarro “thumbed his nose” at the sham Jan. 6 Committee created by Democrats to “investigate” the Jan. 6 debacle at the U.S. Capitol.
NBC News reports, “Navarro was convicted in September on two counts for refusing to testify and provide documents to the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol, which issued its report and dissolved in late 2022 after Republicans won control of the House.”
The irony of Navarro being jailed for defying a congressional subpoena weeks after Joe Biden’s son Hunter did the exact same thing was not lost on social media users.
Former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer noted, “Apparently defying a congressional subpoena is an issue — if you are of a certain party — if you are a Dem or the son of Dem president no big deal.”
During an Oversight and Judiciary Committee hearing earlier this month focusing on whether to hold Hunter Biden in contempt for refusing to cooperate with their investigation into his shady business dealings, the First Son walked out mid-meeting.

After storming out of his contempt hearing, Hunter agreed to appear before House Republicans for a private deposition on Feb. 28.
