President Joe Biden complained to Former President Barack Obama that “she” is “not as strong as me” in an off-mic conversation interpreted by professional lip reader.
Interestingly, Obama agreed with Biden, reportedly saying “that’s true.”
The conversation was captured on film while the two were attending Ethel Kennedy’s Wednesday funeral in Washington. WATCH:

“She’s not as strong as me,” said Biden, according to London-based forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman who provided analysis to the New York Post.
“I know … that’s true,” responded Obama, adding, “We have time.”
Notably, Vice President Kamala Harris is NOT included in Freeman’s translation.
But given the context and timing, Harris seems the most appropriate subject of the conversation.
According to the New York Post, Democrats are “divided” about Freeman’s translation and representatives from Obama’s camp did not immediately offer a comment.
However, Biden spokesman Andrew Bates tore into the outlet.
““A ‘lip reading expert’? Did your usual right-wing soothsayer have their out-of-office up? Only President Biden and President Obama know what they discussed, but this certainly wasn’t it.”
According to The Post, Freeman has an acceptable record to interpret such footage:
The dialogue was translated for The Post by Jeremy Freeman, a London-based forensic lip reader who was born deaf and for 16 years has served as a University College London-certified expert witness for litigants, the police and journalists.
Freedman [sic] described the conservation as “very supportive” and said he detected “no tension” between Obama and Biden, as had been speculated in viral commentary due to Obama shaking his head at one point.
