Biden’s 60 Minutes Blunder: WH Walks Back Claims U.S. Would Go To War With China If Taiwan Invaded

Puppet president claims Hunter Biden is squeaky clean, his cognitive abilities are better than ever, and that he has a low approval because the American people have been psychologically damaged from COVID.

He also refused to confirm whether he'll run again in 2024, declared U.S. will continue funding Ukraine indefinitely, and insisted he knew nothing about the FBI's raid of Mar-a-Lago beforehand.

Joe Biden’s first interview in over 200 days morphed into an unmitigated disaster after he declared the United States would go to war with China if Taiwan was invaded, prompting the White House to quickly walk back his comments.

Scott Pelley of “60 Minutes” asked Biden on Sunday if the U.S. would respond militarily if China invaded Taiwan.

“Yes, if in fact there was an unprecedented attack,” Biden responded.

The White House soon after backtracked Biden’s comment, stating U.S. policy, which is to maintain “strategic ambiguity” towards Taiwan, has not changed.

Hunter Biden

Though the interview covered a number of topics, Pelley didn’t push back against anything Biden said, including his claims that his crackhead son Hunter Biden, who is currently under criminal investigation, is squeaky clean.

“There’s not a single thing that I’ve observed at all that would affect me or the United States relative to my son Hunter,” Biden claimed.

Cognitive Health and 2024 Prospects

Biden claimed his mental state is in peak form, but refused to confirm whether he’ll definitively run for president again in 2024.

“My intention, as I said to begin with, is that I would run again. But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen,” Biden said.

When asked if he thinks he’s fit for the job of president, Biden replied: “Watch me. If you think I don’t have the energy level or the mental acuity, then that’s one thing. It’s another thing, you just watch and keep my schedule.”

Low Approval Rating

Biden also blamed his low approval numbers on the American people’s broken “psyche” brought on by the “profound” COVID crisis.

Mar-a-Lago Raid

Biden claimed he knew nothing about the FBI’s unprecedented raid of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home beforehand, despite court documents revealing Biden essentially ordered the raid.

U.S. Aid to Ukraine

Biden claimed the U.S. would continue providing financial assistance to Ukraine for “as long as they need help.”

“The price Ukrainian people are paying for this war is extremely high. But we’re going to stay with them as long as they need help,” Biden said.

Inflation

When confronted about facilitating the “highest inflation rate in 40 years,” Biden argued that the already hot inflation hasn’t risen higher over the several months.

“I got that. But guess where we are? We’re in a position where for the last several months it hasn’t spiked. It has just been barely, basically even,” Biden said. “In the meantime, we created all these jobs, and prices have gone up, but they’ve come down for energy.”

‘MAGA Republicans’

Biden also defended his infamous ‘blood red’ speech condemning “MAGA Republicans” as domestic extremists.

“Do you fear that speech created more division than unity in the country?” Pelley asked.

“No I don’t,” Biden replied. “I think a significant portion of mainstream Republicans know it to be true and agree.”

COVID-19

With the midterms fast approaching, Biden also declared that the COVID pandemic “is over.”
