Kash Patel, President Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI director, vowed to take down child trafficking networks during his confirmation hearing Thursday.

“I know that breaking up these trafficking rings is important to President Trump,” said Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.). “So will you work with me on this issue? So we know who worked with Jeffrey Epstein in building these sex trafficking rings?”

“Absolutely, senator,” Patel replied. “Child sex trafficking has no place in the United States of America, and I will do everything if confirmed as FBI director to make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened in the past, and how we are going to [counteract] missing children and exploited children going forward.”

During his opening statement, the former chief of staff to Trump’s Acting Defense Secretary said he’d faithfully execute his duties to the Constitution and the American people.

“Protecting the rights of the Constitution is of the utmost importance to me, and has been every single time I’ve taken that oath of office,” Patel said. “The recent terrorist attacks in New Orleans tragically claimed the lives of 14 Americans, and serve as a stark reminder that our national security is at threat, both internally and externally. The FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice, where I served, play a pivotal role in securing our freedoms and our safeties for American citizens.”

“If confirmed as the next FBI director, I will remain focused on the FBI’s core mission. That is to investigate fully wherever there is a constitutional factual basis to do so, and to never make a prosecutorial decision that is solely the providence of the Department of Justice and the Attorney General.”

Kash added he’s uniquely qualified to serve as FBI director due to the severity of how the agency went after him.

“Having been the victim of government overreach and a weaponized system of justice and law enforcement, I know what it feels like to have the full weight of the United States government barreling down on you,” he said.

Patel defended himself from hostile senators amid Thursday’s contentious hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he clarified his record amid tense questioning.

Democrat Sen. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.) freaked out over supposed Patel remarks saying he believed the FBI should be shut down.

Patel fumed at Democrats’ false accusations and mischaracterizations.

“Any accusations leveled against me, that I would somehow put political bias before the Constitution, are grotesquely unfair!!” he shot back. “I have been endorsed by over 300,000 law enforcement officers to become the next Director of the FBI, let’s ask them!!”

Patel also blasted Klobuchar for attempting to slander him with out-of-context snippets.

Patel went on to say he’d de-weaponize and de-politicize the bureau and make it solely accountable to the Constitution.

Patel also defended his past desire to investigate the FBI for embedded J6 informants amid questioning from Democrat Dick Durbin (Ill.).

He later had to defend himself from Durbin’s racist accusations.

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) also went into a hysterical fit mentioning J6, as he urged Patel to look at Capitol Police officers in the room.

He later torched Schiff:

Here’s more of Schiff’s outburst:

During a question whether he believed FBI gun background checks were constitutional, Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) attempted to condescend to Patel, who refused to answer the way the senator requested and answered he’d obey the Constitution and the Supreme Court.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) went off the rails as he tried to claim Patel would politically target agents for firing.

During the hearing, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) revealed he had a Kash bingo card he was marking down every time a Democrat lied.

Kash described mobilizing resources and organizing the National Guard for Jan. 6 amid questioning from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), saying top Democrats all refused 20K National Guard troops days before the Capitol riot.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) told Patel numerous “conspiracy theories” Democrats claimed he once espoused have actually turned out to be true years later, adding new ones will have to be made to replace the old ones that came true.

Democrats’ desperation was also palpable as they criticized Patel over the memes he’d posted:
