Former President Donald Trump celebrated his newfound support among black males by visiting a barbershop in New York City’s Bronx borough, further cementing his rise in popularity amongst minority men.
On Thursday, the 45th president made a brief visit to Javiel’s Knockout Barbershop, where he was greeted by barbers and patrons.

Local media News12.com reports security was high ahead of the event, and that they saw several barbers who worked at the establishment wearing shirts saying, “Make Barbers Great Again.”
Footage posted to Instagram showed Trump sitting down and having a half-hour discussion inside the business with several men, who he reassured would be satisfied once he returned to office.

Trump’s visit comes as he’s scheduled to attend the Al Smith charity dinner later Thursday in New York City, where he’ll be the keynote speaker. Democrat candidate Kamala Harris will also attend, albeit virtually.
